Great phone but terrible after sale service . I bought the OnePlus 11 a year a go and bought a cover on the same order to be shocked that the phone was broken while it was covered honestly during my lifetime I never had this issue they have to add a disclaimer to say that it doesn't protect the phone . Moreover I complained that the phone was overheating since I bought it and I was told that it's because am using video calling and now am quoted £123 to change the cover and the battery ( which I have evidence that I complained about ) and the funny thing is my phone is still under warranty.
I have been using my OnePlus 8T for more than two years now, in its protective case and with a screen protector on. No damage has even been caused to it whatsoever.Suddenly, after an official software update, a green line appeared on my screen.I found out this is a common issue for OnePlus devices with amoled screens. In fact, it's so common that OnePlus is supposedly offering a life-time repair guarantee for this kind of issue.Well, that's definitely not true at all and you should keep it in mind before purchasing any OnePlus device.I booked a repair through the official OnePlus store app, sent my device to their certified service center in Europe only to be told that they wouldn't repair it even if I paid for it, because it's a Chinese version device (purchased from an official OnePlus reseller in China, invoice was also provided in advance).I spent my time backing up and packing my device to send it to Poland only to have it returned to me a few days after.I can't find any service center to repair the damage that OnePlus itself caused to my device with its official update (I have no responsibility for it whatsoever).DO NOT purchase any OnePlus device, a wide variety of them have issues (mostly with the screens) after the first two years. If you need more details, check out the official OnePlus community forums, there have been users reporting green line issues even for the brand new OnePlus 12 series, just google "OnePlus green line issue".

I purchased the Oneplus Open in October 2023. Fantastic phone to use. However dropped the phone less than 30cm, when it was closed, which completely damaged the lower hinge, and worse, damaged the inner screen.Cost of replacing the inner screen: 915.00 euro, ie total write off of the phone. Support is friendly but not helpful. Last Oppo/Oneplus I'll ever buyUpdate: and the standard, useless response from Oneplus, just to meet targets on response percentages.Unfortunately 1* is already the lowest ratingUpdate 2: received multiple mails the device would be repaired, and that service center was waiting for replacement part. 4 weeks later and it becomes clear oneplus is only waiting for my payment, which I already explicitly told them i will not do, and to return the device.Icing on the cake is the 50euro inspection fee. Poor company, great functionality device but very poor build quality, extremely poor support on a premium priced device. First and last Oneplus/Oppo device. 1* do not recommend unless you bubble wrap the device
Great phone but if the after sales service is not there, then I am moving. Had 5 OnePlus phones since OnePlus 2. Broken screen quote 😭.Quote for screen replacement £342.Watch out for the bot generated response from a machine. Customer Service this is not.
I've purchased OnePlus phones for 10 years and was one of the first to get a OnePlus One. I was so impressed that all of my family ended up with OnePlus devices over the years - but we have all come to the conclusion that OnePlus no longer offers a good product. My current model, a Nord, has consistently had a tendency to overheat, the battery life is terrible and it has struggled to function without being massively laggy, when browsing on the web. I don't game, so it isn't as if I've been really pushing the phone to the limits. The only positive thing I can say about it is that the camera is good.HOWEVER, every time OnePlus pushes out an OS update, more often than not it causes issues with any installed apps. This week OnePlus pushed out an update and ALL of my phone contacts and app login details were removed from the phone - it behaved as it I'd done a factory reset.I've spent a day and a half reinstating what apps I could - but some rely on Play Store/Google login - and I have not found a single workaround that allows me to login to Google or reinstate anything that is associated with Google apps.So I now have a phone which cannot load my phone contacts, which cannot read my emails and cannot allow me to update any apps at all (because it will not communicate with Play Store). In short, it is useless. I've contacted OnePlus - so far a deafening silence from them."Never Settle" - ?Family consensus is now "Never Again".**************************************23/05/2024 UPDATE, AFTER POSTING THIS BAD REVIEW ON TRUSTPILOT:So, I have now received an email from OnePlus, which essentially denies that they pushed out an OS update on 21st May and which recommends doing a factory reset on my phone. It also recommends my returning the phone to them for assessment. In other words, no resolution to the problem they have caused - no acknowledgement it even exists - and the suggestion that I basically send them my phone (which was working, albeit not brilliantly, but then it never did from the point of purchase). All of this, which ever way you look at it, leaves me without a functioning phone.OnePlus are very clearly tone deaf to the feedback - as is reflected consistently on TrustPilot. My personal recommendation (after 10 years for which the phones were good, up until a couple of years ago) - DON'T BUY A ONEPLUS. It is no longer worth the grief and they have lost their command of the market, through substandard products and appalling customer aftercare.
I sent the phone under warranty from Oneplus. I received a message from the service center that the phone was mechanically damaged and they do not honor the warranty, asking EUR 260 for the repair, of courseI rejected this repair because the glass cracked itself, the phone was under warranty and they asked for EUR 260 which is around 50% of the phone's value for the repair. Cannot add photos to show how the phone bent, the phone was bent in the pocket and the screen was cracking, it was a manufacturer's defect and the warranty was not recognized due to the alleged mechanical damage to the phone.
If I could give less than 1 star, I would. Was advised a month ago that my earbuds (which have broken for the second time) could only be replaced if I sent them back, but they no longer manufacture the model. Was offered an inferior model as a replacement initially (not acceptable) and then was offered a replacement for a different model, which I could have for half the value, less the amount I paid for my current headphones, so I would only have a small difference to pay. This was an acceptable compromise and I sent off the broken headphones in good faith. Sadly, now Oneplus have my broken earphones, they have rescinded the original invitation and deny all knowledge of it, despite it being in the email thread from the live chat transcript. They have now offered me the inferior product again, or a voucher for what I paid for the previous headphones. Neither of these options are what was promised. I have asked for it to be escalated to customer complaints, and still have not had a response. The whole process has taken a month, and I am still without headphones, which compromises my ability to work. I would note that I have spent thousands with OnePlus over the last few years, buying several phones and accessories. This is not the way to treat loyal customers. EDIT: As you can see from the empty response below, that goes nowhere in resolving any issues, OnePlus care not about their customers
