Review Time
I used OnePlus for past 7 years having bought the OnePlus 5, 8 and Nord model. And while Oneplus promised 2 major upgrades and 3 years of security upgrades, I only received 1 major upgrade and 20 months security update for the North with the last security update in March 2022 for a phone bought in the summer 2020. This is simply unacceptable when Samsung offers 7 years security updates. From this experience, I will not consider OnePlus for my next phone.
OnePlus is a simply a scam. I bought a brand new OnePlus mobile for my father. The mobile has proved to be very faulty and he was forced to send it to assistance from Italy to Poland. After about a week, and all the inconvenience to wipe data, the mobile was returned with the very same issue. OnePlus refuses the replace the faulty device despite there is a warranty on the mobile and replacement should be in order when the device fix keeps failing. They claim it should be send to the assistance center again because "they will be careful this time" (quote from the support agent) - very unprofessional behavior as one would suppose they would be careful all the time. Better to avoid OnePlus. Don't buy.Addition: I see OnePlus posted a reply to this review claiming the device needs to be "inspected" before changing it. This is blunt lie as the device was already inspected and allegedly repaired by their service as they very well know based on the assistance ticket I provided. This is a tricky behavior as they avoid to respect their warranty. Simply laughable behavior. Stay far from the OnePlus scam. Happy to attach the whole conversation with the service center so you can read all the details of their behavior.
OnePlus has only a pretense of customer service with no phone number and a non-functioning repair webpage. After much frustration, I finally got signed into the repair age, but unless I know my IMEI number, model number, ect...the page is disabled. How would I know this info since it's in my phone which is not working? If somebody would answer a phone, then they could look up my phone info, but I guess they expect me to just mail them my phone without confirming whether a repair is covered, or what it might cost. Make no mistake about it, if they can't afford to hire someone (even a low-wage foreigner) to answer a phone call, then there is no real customer service, but only the pretense thereof.
Hi all I'm using 10pro. Recent started have green line issue on the display. I visited nearest kormangala service center. The PPL here are liers who are making me wait for more than a month to fix the display. I visited this store 3 times called them every week. Still there saying they do not have stock.
Firstly I have been a OnePlus customer in Ireland for over 8 years and have found their phones to be of a high standard especially for the price range. And have a had positive experiences with repairs via OnePlus in Poland over the years. But on the 17/5/2024 I ordered a Nord 3 lite for my daughter was told it would be delivered by 24/5/2024 then the 28/5/2024. It is now the 11/6/2024 by estimated delivery is still the 28/5/2024 and states the order is still being processed, the excuse used was lack of postcode yet not need for deliveries to Ireland and also not required to complete my order and payment. I have confirmed this postcode on 6 separate occasions via email and chat on app, have repeatedly been informed it has been updated and escalated to the appropriate department. Have requested to be contacted by a supervisor regarding the issue and still awaiting contact, the customer service is the worst I have experienced I don't blame the individuals I have spoken too. It seems the that shipping and order department and customer service department have very limited and poor IT communication links which for a company that provides communication devices is not a great look. My daughter is now over 3 weeks awaiting her new phone that is still being processed and I am still awaiting a manager or supervisor to contact me regarding the above issues
I have a OnePlus 7pro that I've had for a year or two. Generally it's fine, although it can run a little slow sometimes and also overheats if I'm using several apps. But recently, I think since the most recent update to OxygenOS 12.1, the selfie camera no longer works. I've tried all the suggestions I could find online apart from doing a factory reset which I don't want to do, but nothing works.
I had the OnePlus Nord 2 from just after it was launched, and still have it now, ( not for long though ). It only ever had 1 system update, and since then, the main camera is stuck in selfie/beauty mode. What good is that when you want to take normal and natural photos ? I've hunted high and low for answers and fixes, and it seems I'm not alone in this experience. The bad thing is, there are no fixes whatever you try. OnePlus phones were ok at the beginning, but, the help and the way they do things now, has gone downhill.
I previously purchased a phone from OnePlus online. They offered me $890 credit trading when they looked at the phone they decided it wasn't worth it. I was totally honest told it had a scratch and then they dropped it down to $400. Not accepting the offer to send the phone back to me it's been 10 days now. I still have not received my phone back and my return item. They keep telling me they still have to look at it before they credit my charge card customer service the worst I've ever experienced I don't care the phone. I will never own a OnePlus anything. This includes me selling my OnePlus, watch, and my OnePlus tablet I will not own a product with their name on it ever again.
I would never buy a phone from here again just due to the rubbish service. Bought a phone for the hubby which had an offer of a free case. Case did not arrive with phone and had to go round and round in circles to try and get the case. Why do an offer and have no cases available. It's a ploy in the hope you don't chase them up. As for the phone I can only say I hope nothing goes wrong after reading these reviews and wish my hubby had before settling on this phone.
