My OnePlus 11 5G is, by some distance, the worst phone I've ever had.There is no discernible difference in the previous OnePlus version I changed it for. If anything it's even worse.While browsing it cannot cope with websites - the phone frequently freezes and fails to load.It auto-rotates even when that option is not switched on.Turning the phone off used to involve pressing and holding a single button.Now you have to hold two simultaneously and it often takes half a dozen attempts to do so.Which cretin in development thought let's make this function more difficult than easier.The three finger swipe to screenshot is a joke - again it takes a number of attempts.So many niggly things wrong in a 'phone that is now too expensive to consider value for money.Don't waste yours on this POC - there are now much better competitors in a field that they used to lead.I won't be buying another.
The whole of OnePlus after sales seems to be a web of deceit. After waiting 2 and a half months I've received a replacement OnePlus Open. (This is important because my old device has not been repaired it's been replaced). And what it it's been replaced with is another faulty OnePus Open with different faults straight out the box. I've contacted support again and despite me pleaslding with them for some tiny bit of goodwill, I have to send this new faulty device off for repair. Now this part of the review goes directly to OnePlus as a company. You can see how widely dislikes your company is by your customers just by looking at the 1 star reviews. If you could give 0 star reviews that's what you'd have. OnePlus is on a way journey to completely failing in the UK. God knows anyone I know will never touch a OnePlus phone after I've explained the BS I've been subjected too. I'm sure I'll have a canned reply to this review saying that OneOlus will do all they can to help but I tell anybody right now. It's all lies. Nobody cares there and it makes me wonder why they even have a support team.
Recently purchased the Oneplus Watch 2.The charger stopped working.I contacted customer services who requested that I send a video which I duly did.They then requested the return of the Watch which I advised was unnecessary as it was fine, it was the charger that was broke.Insisted that they could not just provide a charger which I disputed and following a phone call and an email confirming that they will send me another, they have failed to do.Since sent them a number of emails which they do not even respond to. I now have a watch which I cannot charge / use.Customer service is appalling - telephone support just advise to wait. How long should it take to replace a charger?
Bought 10 phones from them. They held £1,600 (cost of 8 phones) for 2 weeks and didn't dispatch as they "can't dispatch all in one parcel" and didn't have the initiative to perhaps send them seperately if so? Finally refunded these after 2 weeks. Sent back the other 2 due to the issues faced (this is a business purchase, we want all employees on the same phone type for business purposes). I sent this back on the return label provided by them 5 weeks ago and they've still refused to refund. They are now ignoring my emails despite having my phones returned through their label.
I've purchased OnePlus 10R 5G phone from Amazon on 10th November 2023. From the starting, the pin of data cable was loose and after one month it stopped working and the pin came out.I contacted Amazon for that and they asked me to go OnePlus service center. I went to service center and they mentioned that the charger, data cable and adaptor is not original and told me to contact Amazon regarding this as I got cheated from Amazon so OnePlus will not gonna help with this. I asked the amount of the charger and it was Rs.3000.I reached out to the Amazon customer service and they asked me to call you OnePlus customer service for the deniel letter then only they can help me out. They provided me the phone number i.e. 18001028411. I spoke with someone from OnePlus customer service. They said that they don't provide any deniel letter and asked me to again contact Amazon for that.I again called Amazon customer service and told them what OnePlus customer service guy told me. After that Amazon asked me to e-mail OnePlus support and wait for 3 days for the resolution. I did receive e-mail from OnePlus only one time and after that I'm tired of taking follow ups but no revert received yet.I reached out to OnePlus customer service via live chat and they promised me multiple times that someone from them will gonna contact me within 24 hours but still it's been many days that no one contacted me via e-mail or call.Due to this duplicate charger, my new phone started hanging and the screens got black and blank. I don't understand why the hell am I facing this issue.Whom I blame for this?? Amazon or OnePlus?? Is there anyone who can help me out.Also I updated reviews regarding this incident in Amazon multiple times but they mailed me back by saying that they cannot update ky review due to blah blah reasons.Amazon and OnePlus customer support is useless. They cheat people and never help them out and provide the resolution.
Worst warranty experience I have ever had; the inner screen failed on my OnePlus Open day 19 of ownership. This is an $1800 phone. After ~6 calls and messages, they "repaired" the inner screen after ~5 weeks. The phone arrived and worked for a few hours, but the issue recurred. I am now ~6 weeks into waiting for them to approve a second repair. After numerous escalations, all they say is they "are working on it." The phone has been broken for 11 weeks. I filed a complaint with the BBB and the California Department of Justice.
I've been buying from Oneplus dating back to the Oneplus One invite system. I never had an issue until recently. The oneplus stylus from my tab stopped working and I reached out to the team to get it replaced or repaired. OnePlus claims they have a fast support system but then a week passed without any updates...then another.I reached out to their support team and they said I would get an update within 3-5 business days. Nothing.Reached out again (Monday last week), and they said they would escalate the issue with the "higher team" and I would hear an update soon.Nothing.Reached out again (Friday last week), and then again they said the issue was with the "higher team" and I just needed to wait. Nothing.Reached out again and said I wanted to file a complaint.Today I signed in to get an update on my ticket and found my account was BANNED for violation of the user agreement.I have the utmost respect for everyone in customer support and I gave nothing but constructive feedback. I'm sure I didn't violate any terms. Today I reached out again, and surprise, no update yet. Oneplus has received my package over 30 days ago and didn't even examine the issue. This was the worst after-sales experience I've ever had and I'm not only never purchasing from Oneplus again, but also sharing my issue with as many people as possible. It's easy to love a brand when everything goes right, but you can only see the real quality of its processes once you need some sort of minor assistance. It's been way OVER THE LEGAL TIME for them to provide an update. As they say, NEVER SETTLE, but don't settle for OnePlus.
Far and away the worst customer experience I have endured ever. I'm trying to organise a return and have been advised by Oneplus to login to my Oneplus account to initiate it. Website doesn't work properly on Safari, the the way. Tried again on Chrome but could find no link to enable me to start a return. Googled Oneplus returns and found this wwwDOToneplusDOTcom/uk/order/rma/create#/. Clicked in Return section and got the message "Oops, the spaceship just got lost! We are trying to get it back to earth"Oneplus' products seem ok but with this standard of Customer Service, they are not even worthy of one star review.
