No more Oneplus from the loyal oneplus customer

My family and I bought 6 Oneplus devices in the last few years. I always recommended OnePlus to all of my friends and family in the past, but not anymore.The list of things that are broken is enormous.Switching from OxygenOS to ColourOS (although you are still using the same name, but it's not the same), was a huge mistake that bought a lot of bugs, some of which are not fixed yet.A lot of features that were unique to OnePlus are gone.Why did you remove seconds from the clock, did that really bother you?You had a feature in your alarm to gradually increase the alarm tone as you are waking up. Nowadays, you wake up like there is a huge speaker near your ear. Was that really important to remove? It's better to remove those stupid emoji, bitmoji and other children's gimmicksVolte and VoWifi are not working and there is no way to turn them on. In the UK, where some carriers are switching off 3G networks, this is crucial to have, but not for OnePlus. The carrier I'm using (Three UK) doesn't have the 2G network, so how I'm going to make phone calls if Volte is not working?Every single update is making battery life worse. Before I could do 2 days on a single charge, but now I can't finish even a full day.In the past you were excited with software updates to find out if there is any new feature available, today you have to check which things OnePlus broke.Green lines, Bluetooth connectivity, and battery life are just additional stuff that users are reporting on the OnePlus forum, but literally, no one from OnePlus is not even bothered to reply or to say it's acknowledged by the software team.OnePlus thinks that its users are stupid and can't read.No wonder your average Trustpilot score is 1.4 and I'm surprised that is not even lower.What I want from Oneplus is a refund for the piece of rubbish they call a phone, so I can buy a proper phone from a manufacturer that cares about its users

Ik ben 4 jaar geleden met het gebruiken van een oneplus telefoon. Onlangs wil ik mijn ervaring upgraden en heb hierbij de Oneplus pad met het toetsenbord gekocht. Hierbij zou ik eigenlijk een gift terwaarde van 99€ krijgen en ging er van uit dat dit de Pecil die bij de tablet hoort zou zijn. Maar toen de zending voor de deur verscheen was deze nergens te bekennen. Langs contact gehad met Oneplus (denk nu al bijna een maand aan het mailen etc...) Maar tot geen resultaat. Mijn ervaring met oneplus was goed. Maar nu de klantenservice te hebben ervaren vindt ik het belachelijk hoe ze mij eigenlijk in de steek hebben gelaten en ook voel ik mij opgelicht door Oneplus (ik kan hem nu ook niet meer terug sturen). I tried to change the adapter afterwards but ofcourse the customer support of Oneplus after more than a month is like no, we don't do that and your to late for your warranty period. Support for loyal customers is non-existent

I'm on my third Oneplus phone. I first had the Oneplus 6, which was fantastic and a great alternative to Apple and Samsung at a lower cost. Secondly, I changed to the Oneplus Nord, which again was brilliant. Great value for money and did everything I wanted and more. In May 2022 I bought my third Oneplus phone, the Nord 2T. Unfortunately, this phone is the reason for my 1-star review.After buying the phone I soon noticed that the bluetooth connection was very unstable. Almost every day I have to reset it, otherwise none of my devices will connect. As I drive a lot, this is very frustrating as my phone will ring and I can't answer it as it hasn't connected to my car. I contacted Oneplus and they said it would be resolved in a future software update. As the phone had only just been released, I thought that was fair enough and I'd give them the benefit of the doubt. In November, I was still having the same issue, after multiple software updates. The notification slider on the side of the phone had also jammed after only a few months use, so I sent the phone for repair at their centre in the UK. I received it back and the slider had been fixed, but the bluetooth issue persisted. I contacted Oneplus again and all they said was 'get it fixed at service centre'. I sent it again, with great hassle having to switch everything over to a friend's spare phone both times. I received my Nord 2T back about 1-2 months ago. My bluetooth connection STILL doesn't work. When contacting Oneplus support, they sometimes take over 5 days to reply. I reply and then get warning emails in German (?!) that say my contact case will be closed shortly. Communication with Oneplus is an absolute shambles and unfortunately my years of loyalty have been ruined by this, as well as a very sub-standard phone and repair service. What's even more frustrating is I know I'll get a reply to this review with an annoyingly upbeat paragraph that explains how Oneplus care, but not get a resolution!Avoid these phones. They're great when they work but once they break it's definitely not worth the hassle.

OnePlus Trade In is a scam

OnePlus Trade In is a scam - don't do it!I have been a loyal OnePlus customer and advocate for many years, recommending it to everyone.I'd recently purchased a OnePlus 11 with the trade in option, sending in a perfect OnePlus 6. They've knocked off £100 of my trade in value so I will now only get £30 instead of the promised £130.They won't provide a reason as to why, and there is no way to contest it. Clearly, it was an absolute scam from the very beginning and they never intended to give the £100 trade-in "bonus".Mighty disappointed to see that my favourite phone manufacturer would behave in this way. Safe to say, I will not be purchasing any more OnePlus phones nor will I be recommending it to anyone anymore.I just hope people read this and don't fall for the same scam.

Warning about Oneplus after sale support.

I purchased a Oneplus Nord N30 on 7-1-2023. As of July 9 2023, I have been unable to delete emails from my Gmail. Oneplus has been unable to fix the problem through their telephone tech support & had me send my phone to their repair facility in Fort Worth Tx. It was returned to me after 1 week unrepaired. They now tell me that they are unable to fix their own product & I have to take it up with GOOGLE. They refuse to provide a replacement phone or refund my purchase price. I would warn anyone to stay as far away from Oneplus as possible Their customer support & Tech support are absolutely horrible. K'm certain there are far more reputable brands available.

Whilst the Oneplus 10 pro boasts some good technology that immediately impresses, this is sadly not backed up by a durable construction. As is well documented on YouTube, tiktok etc, the Oneplus 10 pro snaps in half with a minimum of pressure, leaving you with a worthless heap of junk! Do not buy unless you have more money than sense!!Your reply doesn't really help me. I didn't pay £650.00 to test your product, to help your development team to make a decent product. The right and honourable thing to do would be to send me a new phone - how about it?So, it seems you acknowledge that you have made a phone that will snap in half if it is sat on and you think this is OK. I am sure that will be of great interest to those looking to purchase this phone! Also, I have not been offered any support re replacement.To summarise, you have made and sold a dud product and then offered completely useless customer service. It couldn't really get much worse, could it?Nothing new to say in reply apart from there is not a lot of truth in your reply. The phone is not realistically repairable and no real support has been offered to replace it. Hopefully potential buyers of the one plus 10 pro will see this review, will watch proper rigorous testing of this phone on YouTube and recognise what a substandard product it is.In terms of your customer care and satisfaction, I couldn't be more dissatisfied, so you have completely failed on all accounts...

One plus not even deserved for 1 star…

One plus not even deserved for 1 star rating but no option to select least . I have used one plus mobile and landed with huge problems and paying excessive amount for repairing it and even after repair mobile was gone completely . I have purchased one plus TV also on Oct 2023 and now it started giving trouble as showing lines on display which is completely display gone and unable to see anything. Pls be aware of one plus products as they are cheating always by selling disqualified products. I have raised complaint but till now no significant steps taken. One plus has to be punished for its intolerable offensive.
