OnePlus 8

I can highlight such pleasant factors: "Screen." "Speed, good design and nice materials, for its size it fits well in the hand, weight."But also, there are drawbacks: “Battery capacity, I would like more.” “Camera.” “Software, lack of functions from the pro version.” “No dust and moisture protection.”

Poor quality, would recommend seeking other phone manufacturers

Just sent my phone for repair after an LCD screen failure. It is a OnePlus Nord 2 5G. I have bought it new, and this problem occured after only a month. Very nice to use when it is working, but at this poor level of reliability after only one month of use makes me question the company's quality control. Will see how they sort the issue out and will update my review accordingly.Edit: Have been quoted $340 for the LCD repair. Claim was "Physical damage" after only one month, knowing I have owned an iPhone 7 for 5 years without any issue. Do NOT buy a OnePlus product if you value your time and money.

If I could give a zero I would have

If I could give a zero I would have! Absolutely attrocious customer service and devious clogging up of system memory that paralyses your phone and to the point that you can't use any longer. There is no solution offered and thousands of customers having the same issue. Will never ever buy OnePlus again. Customer Service is hopeless.

Never settle with a OnePlus

There slogan should be never settle with OnePlus! Everything is okay when things are smooth, but the moment you have a problem the company does not like to take liability.I purchased a OnePlus 8T whilst the Stadia promotion was going on back in May/June last year. I received a e-mail a week later stating that I'll receive the promotional code. Long story short, I didn't. I had to work abroad for a little while so I enquired with a representative who told me I would receive my code.I didn't! So recently I've been in touch with them and they've now told me the promotional offer is no longer valid. It clearly stated on my receipt to include a Stadia but these guys think they can fob you off! Customer service have been trying to offer me vouchers next to nothing what the Stadia is worth. Why should the onus be on myself to chase them and accept less? If you're going to offer a promotion, stick to it!I have now did a little digging and have realised that I'm not the only one who is going through this issue. I've lodged a formal complaint with trading standards as they seem to think they can get away with fobbing people off, I've never experienced such an unprofessional attitude in my life. Please please please STAY AWAY from OnePlus. Yes, they sound good.. But when things go wrong, they go wrong. Never experienced this with Samsung when I've had an issue!!!As seen below, just a generic response and no attention to detail. I've already told customer service who have done nothing to resolve the issue!!

One plus won't fix or answer for repair

Hi "Service request accepted. You will receive an email from our service center with specific instructions." Still looking at my request status and the number attached to it .And nothing is happening!More than a year and still no news about my phone.Every time I call ,someone answer than after a while put me on wait then hang off the phone. I used to adviced people to buy an OnePlus phone. Now I realise my mistake.Seems like they don't care at All , don't provide good service and care . Feel so betrayed!Really More than a year ! I lose hope . Yesterday I put it on the bin cause it's been too long. So please be aware of it ! If you don't want to be sad over a phone you can't get fixe ,avoid a all cost one plus. Even more in a time when other brands are more respectful, and quick to get the Job done .

New features

For some reason OnePlus decided to merge with Oppo. This means we now get some version of Oppo's colorOS forced on us without warning."Features" of this new OS:Notifications can no longer be dismissed by sliding to the left or right, and ping back into place. To dismiss a notification you must now slide and then click the delete option that appears...for each individual notification.Vibrate option has been removed for alarms and they can now only be on loud or silent (lol). Buttons on clock app are now only a few pixels wide and require fingers the width of a sharpened pencil tip to press correctly.Bluetooth doesn't correctly reconnect to linked devices when they are turned on. Also drops occasionally at random when using the phones volume button.Speaking of the volume button, phone volume now seems to occasionally increase and decrease at random without touching it and with the volume bar on the phone not changing. The clock on the home screen doesn't print to the screen properly and has half of the numbers cut off.OnePlus is no longer the "flagship killer", I suggest you avoid it like the plague.

Awful OS, okay tech

My OnePlus 7 shuts down or has a meltdown during whatsapp calls and voicenotes. No fixes to bugs but they did do an update which changed all the shortcuts on my phone. Camera is amazing in daytime and a Nokia from 08 at night.

Terrible upgrade, uncaring CS

Terrible upgrade. Asking for excessive access for random apps I haven't installed, asking for data roaming charges on my local SIM (I'm not roaming), hidden several apps and others are broken. Social authentication to sign into apps is not working. Not the first time this has happened, but this is a poor, poor release. I'm on their latest greatest 9 Pro and if they haven't stress tested that in particular before releasing then they're an amateur outfit.Gone from rebel to shill.Oh, just had another pop up to tell me something has crashed.BTW the link below in your response takes me to FAQ. Four phones in, thousands spent on your devices and you want me to go through the issues one by one on your FAQ to solve them myself?
