I ordered a One Plus Nord 2 from One Plus, to replace my current One Plus 6t. Loved my phone, and thought the product was great value for money.Howver, I will never buy a product from One Plus again after my experience ordering the Nord. After paying for express delivery and the product in full, the product hadn't come two days after the expected delivery date. I contacted OnePlus customer service to be told it had been delivered and to check with family and neighbours. The fact that they would allow such a product to be delivered without a signature baffles me, but I confirmed to them after checking with the fore mentioned that the phone had not been delivered. Two days later they confirmed I was correct, and that the phone would be delivered that day. That day, a phone case arrived, but no phone. So I had to enter into talks with their customer service again, supplying pictures and documentation of what had been delivered (again without a signature), to which I have been continuing the process for the past two weeks and I still have no phone. In that time, they have not responded to a single email in less than a full 24 hours, they have tried to close the case as they were not replying to my emails, to keep the case open I had to continue to email and try through the live chat option, even had the gaul to send me a customer service survey, and have passed my query from person to person. I had to take it upon myself to contact the delivery company to try to get to some resolution but to no avail.I am still sitting here, without the phone that was paid for in full, hoping for a resolution to this matter.Would not recommend.
This company has to be the actual worst company on EARTH. Buyer beware... they will push bad updates to your phone causing SERIOUS issues and then tell you how sorry they are but act like it's no BIG DEAL. If you haven't noticed most of these reviews a BAD. Those stupid responses that they give to these reviews only make matters worse. I plan to file a class action law suit and post here how you all may join so stay tuned!
I have a Oneplus 8T still under warranty. The phone stopped accepting a charge. The phone's charging port is not working. Tried to scheduled a repair through their website and couldn't complete the process online since it said the store was too full. Typical for the oneplus site. Called customer service and the told me it would take 2-3 weeks after they receive the phone to get it repaired under warranty. I don't have a backup. This is ridiculous they do not offer any solutions other than waiting for several weeks when it is an equipment problem. I asked if taking it to a repair shop would void the warranty and they said it would. The company should try coming with a solution that helps their customers instead of making them wait 3 weeks. They asked if I wanted to take a survey after the call and I said yes. And guess what, they hung up on me.
Worst phone that I have ever owned. They seem to be a community based company who make rubbish phones and charge extortionate prices. Constant screen freezes. Sometimes can't hang up a call without force shutting down the phone. Can't answer calls sometimes for the same reason. Google maps seldom works unless I reboot the phone each time. Customer service is a joke. So many problems that I can't be bothered to list here. These phone are not the high end phones that OnePlus say they are. I think that this company is a bit of a fraud, them make rubbish phones and sell them at extortionate prices. I feel that I have been conned out of over £929 for a phone that is probably worth less than £100. Please do not buy from this company. They sell pure cr@p UPDATE Have a read of their reply to my comment please. What does it even mean????? Think they've used a translate service as they seem to have done for all the other replies. They can't even be bothered to use proper English. 75% of reviews of OnePlus products are poor or bad (70% bad). And they say they are "predominance" whatever that means in this context.
I purchased a OnePlus 9 in October and have been having issues ever since. I thought they were resolved in December after finding a helpful comment on their community forums, but the problem started back within 2 months. My phone randomly reboots. Sometimes it even gets itself into a reboot cycle and reboots 10-15 times in a row. I've factory reset, wiped cache, turned of bubbles, and recorded as much as possible. I first contacted Support in December. I re-contacted support in March with the same issue. They say the only solution is for me to send my device in for repair. Which I would be happy to do if they provided a loaner device in the meantime - they do not. I am not in a position to be without a phone for an extended period. They've offered no other solutions to what seems like a factory problem. Reading the other comments here, it seems to be a common problem.Hilarious how OnePlus replies with "concern" and yet 2 weeks later, still no resolution. I guess the "appropriate team" hasn't yet reached out. I will definitely not purchase another OnePlus. Too many great phones on the market for one that shuts down daily with poor support.
I was previously having one plus 8T. I faced Many problems with the fone and the common one was fone use to get hang.I lost my fone 5 months later from the date of purchase.I was very disappointed with the fone functionality and response. My wife purchased one plus 9 just 20 days later after my purchase of one plus 8T.She had same trouble with one plus 9.They call it a flag ship fone.. it's not even close. It's hanging 2-3 times a day.All applications are shut but song is being played. What is this a new version of Android 11.Submitted one plus 9 to customer service and all they did is reformatted the fone and handed it back to me twice.Buy any fone of 5-10K but don't buy one plus series. It's a waste.
I got OnePlus 8T in September last year, from the start I have been having problems with the lock screen freezing and force restarting which is really annoying with a new phone.I have now been in contact with customer service for 9 months, I have sent the phone in 2 times, had online sessions where they set up the phone again, I don't have the number of times I have factory reset the phone. Which is really really annoying. So this week I got a message that they would exchange the phone, so when I had agreed on that they sent back : "Before creating the replacement order for you, we have checked the stock availability, and we are informed that the model 8T is not available right now, and it's confirmed end of life, so we are sorry that a replacement could not be arranged for the same model." "So right now there is stock for OP8 and OP8 Pro, so after the inspection conducted and passed, then the replacement would be arranged with the available model accordingly."So I have a choice to downgrade my phone.......uuhhh no thanks!!!!!!So I ask if I could pay the difference for OP9, no that is not possible.in my home we have been fans of OP from the start, my husband bought OP1 and we have had OP since. I am so sad that it has to go this way because of bad customer service..........Does anyone have a recommendation for other android phones with reasonable customer service???9 months trying to get my then-new phone to work is too long time!!!!!Ps. I am dyslexic so my spelling is probably not the best.
The recent update to Oxygen OS 12 has destoyed the experience and renders OnePlus phones no longer viable in a number of ways:- Notifications on lock screen are broken, they'll appear temporarily then vanish and never reappear- Notifications have no colour anymore, they're all in monochrome so can't see at a glance when it's red for YT, blue for Twitter, green for Whatsapp etc.- The OS now keeps Gmail in forced battery saving mode which prevents any email notifications from ever coming through- They've removed our ability to customise individual app icons, and many icons got ruined with the update. You have to use a third party launcher to get around this now- Cannot unlock the phone with fingerprint when it's sat on desk or wireless charger without first picking it up/double tapping, wasting time- Every Google app is now forced to be shaded based on your wallpaper, and whilst this Material You feature is customisable on other phones, it's not on OnePlus. If you have a forest wallpaper, all your Google apps will be vomit green and they don't give you any ability to customise this.- Home screen is washed out and desaturated, and doesn't match the colour profile of the lock screen. Had to change from Vivid to Cinematic colour profile to work around this.- Many of your settings get removed and have to be altered again (highlight colour, Always On Display, ability to swipe back whilst keyboard is open etc.)It's been a dreadful experience through and through, and I would recommend to avoid OnePlus at all costs in future, probably due to its recent merger with Oppo.EDIT: Thank you OnePlus for your reply below. I'm sceptical, but if OnePlus can fix a single one of the issues I've mentioned above, I'll add a star to this review. I'll keep adding a star for each issue that gets resolved, as OnePlus used to be a 5* company before they did this to their users. We'll see how long this review remains at one star...
The customer service sucks so bad. My oneplus screen stopped working so I asked the customer service. They told me to send a phone to fix the screen and something and I paid over 150$. Phone came back and worked only for 10 minutes then went back to the same problem. I contacted to the customer service again to get the refund of the repair fee. They keep asking me to send the phone again to look what else they can do but I don’t want them to mess with my phone and not fix. I kept contacting to the customer service until they said they will call me back which was two years ago and they never called me back… oh man, i will never buy their products ever and never ever recommend this to anyone. Customer service level is so low as well like unbelievable. Please stay away from the stress people :)
