Review Time
Initially I was very happy with Outfittery and bought quite a few items that were in my first box. Around Christmas time I received my second box and I was less impressed with this, it was also too soon after the first box, but that was probably my fault for not delaying this. The items in the second box were quite similar to the first box but with some additional wacky items that did not seem in any way similar to the items I had liked to give the stylist an idea of my taste. I decided to send all of the items back and packaged them all up to return to the post office. The next day, my 12 year old daughter answered the door to someone claiming to be at my house to collect a return. She looked in to the hall and saw my boxed up Outfittery box and handed this over. I was out walking the dog and when I returned and heard this, I was very concerned that I had been a victim of fraud. It is not normally part of the returns process for a collection service to be provided. I e-mailed Outfittery and got no response. I ended up calling the police to report this as I genuinely thought that we had been the victims of a crime.Late the next evening I received an e-mail to say that my items had been collected and were on the way back to Outfittery. It was some 3 weeks later when I eventually received a response and it lacked any compassion or understanding of the genuine distress this had caused. I informed them how furious I was with this dreadful service, but they certainly gave the impression that they couldn’t care less. The final insult in the story is that they have charged me for a belt that they claim I did not return, but I know for a fact that I did return it as a I didn’t even take the multiple belts that were in the box out as I did not need any more of them! I would genuinely urge caution when using this company. Their customer service is the worst I have ever dealt with.
AVOID! A month on and still no sign of the £900 incorrectly taken form my account for a full box which I returned at the beginning of December. The reply given to my previous review promised an email and prompt refund (although I hardly count refunding after a month prompt) but no sign of either! Just glad it is on the credit card who are disputing it as well. I have no idea what is happening with this company but assume that something is going very badly wrong. I will be taking action to ensure my account is cancelled and they no longer have access to take money from me once this refund is finally sorted out!
I have been charged £700.93 for a box of clothing I returned and Outfittery have acknowledged the return.I have sent 8 messages to Outfittery using their on line form and no answers. Do not use this company. They are totally unscrupulous and will NOT return your money!!Steer clear !!!!
My box arrived late, wet and torn. I was notified by Outfittery that the box would be late, then got an email saying it had arrived two days before it had. I kept two items of clothing and returned the rest, but was informed I had kept 3 items of clothing and was charged for it. There is no way of checking back on the app to see what you have kept, and no telephone number to talk to anyone. The complaint I sent was never responded to. I used Stitch fix for a long time and it was great, but avoid this company.
Absolutely appalling company! DO NOT USE! We’ll be taking legal action against this company. My son tried to return the items he received, he emailed the company to advise that the returns portal wasn’t working and he couldn’t get access to his account, he also advised them to cancel his subscription. He had to email several times before eventually getting a response, telling him he needed to go on his account to cancel the subscription and return the items, even though he’d told them he couldn’t get access to his account. He eventually managed to return the items but despite this they charged him over £700, even though they received the goods back. He’s currently processing a chargeback with his bank and emailed the company again. Despite this, the company continued to send another box of clothes out, I rejected the delivery as he’d moved out and did not want the clothes (he’d tried cancelling several times). however even though the goods were not accepted they charged him again, over £900. He is currently in the process of contacting his bank again! This company makes it difficult to return items, do not respond to emails when you try to cancel and still charge when you don’t have the goods! I can’t stress enough how you should avoid this company. The are trading fraudulently. We’re in the process of dealing with the international consumer centre!
AVOID - THEY DONT SEND REFUNDSOutfittery delivered my package to the wrong address, after tracking the package down it was past the returns date. After several emails they agreed an extra 7 days to return the goods. After returning the goods within the 7 days as agreed, they have still not refunded the items, and are not responding to and of my emails, and have still not acknowledged the goods being returned. Very poor, service, clearly avoiding being contacted.
