Review Time
The worst ! Ordered tires online for my daughter in Charlotte NC. She went and got them installed. After she came home from college I looked at the invoice. They charged me for TPMS sensor and a rebuild. My car is a 2005 Mercedes E500 that does not have that. I called and they stated that we needed to bring it down to verify, really, look on the internet , not on that car until 2006. She then proceeded to have a flat tire. She could not loosen the lug nuts to put the spare on. Needless to say 11pm at night. Her friend came by and he couldn't loosen the lugs. It broke the tire wrench as well. Called AAA and they could not loosen the lugs. They pump the tire to 60lbs the next day and drove to Pep Boys. They didn't really cared and finally after 2 extension on the wrench they broke it loose. Guess what, all the tires were like that. Well it seems that there is a hairline crack on the rim, wow, how did that get there since it is right where the bead of the tire is. No apology and than to make it worse, they couldn't give a refund for the charge for the TPMS sensor. The manager was on vacation and needed to come back after 2 weeks, really ????? Do not shop at Pep Boys is all I can say.
Brought my car to replaced starter, price was ridiculous expensive $600, they said will be ready in 1 to 1 1/2 hours, took more than 2 hours, while i was waiting i saw the mechanic working for 3 minutes keeps drinking coffee then go help his co-worker with another car, then go back to work on my car for 3 minand keep doing the same, for sure im not wasting my money and time in this place who dosen't care or know about customer service
The Pep Boys in Chapel Hill, NC damaged my car and I have learned that they damage their customers' vehicles on a regular basis. Claims got us a rental car for the time while our car is at the body shop, but won't cover the collision insurance. They said if something happens to the rental car, we have to pay for it out of our own insurance, handle the deductible, and deal with a rate increase. Never go to this Pep Boys!
Took my car into Pep Boys-Aliso Viejo for oil Change & Window Wipers. They told me I need new brushes & shocks. Went along with their program $ $1550 and 4 hours later. The next day I used the wipers, my old ones worked better. Now I question the other items they used if any. They should be investigated by the local DA. Everyone at the desk was nice but will never use them again
When I was given a quote I wasn’t told a warranty was part of my the price for tires and what goes along putting them on. When I looked at my sales slip I noticed I was charged for a warranty, I wasn’t given a choice if I wanted one. The sales clerk said it was part of the sales quote. I feel I should have been given an option if I wanted to buy a warranty, instead of being automatically charged. Disappointed won’t go back
when to pepboy's to get my tire rotation and other things ...well it took @ hours..and i had a appointment.... but, they took great care of my car and me... everything was free...and they said they were sorry for what happen....there is a GOD....never give up on great sevice .... HOW EVER IT COME...THANKS
