Filthy dirty place. Changing rooms and showers are disgusting and never cleaned properly. This sort of dirt / black mould doesn't happen over night - its months of inadequate cleaning.The health suite is currently not working - no steam & no jacuzzi - been going on months yet no reduction in the price.Generally badly run and maintained. Any broken things take months to resolve
The new facilities are great the guy are reception was great the only main downfall was that the steam rooms reek of urine and not sure how often they are cleaned. Made me completely avoid risking going in there. Huge shame because otherwise a lovely place.
Just another large corporation not giving a shit about most things unless its profit. 27/11/25 - They have asked me to review my review - Well after sending x3 emails prior to this review about issues created by them without a response then asking me to email the same mail given to discuss I'm kinda gobsmacked! Its only one star because I can't leave zero!
The equipment is modern and generally available. The environment in the gym is good and friendly as are the staff. There is a shortage of lockers in the male changing room. I have noted that there seems to be a fairly significant number of adolescents in the gym who lack the wristbands indicating that they are members. The problem for me is that they hog the machines, sometimes using them as seating for extended periods while they surf on social media.
