Wrong item and no refund !!

Very disappointed with this first order. The quantities do not match the order form at all, and customer support is not responding to requests to resend the missing items. I wanted to return my order, but the return process is not explained anywhere in the customer area. You have to dig through the FAQs to find it... and on top of that, the customer has to pay for the return shipping costs.

Badly taken care of plant they didn’t care

I thought it’s going to be a nice looking plant as it is shown on the picture on their website. But what was delivered looked very poorly taken care of, plant in stress… Two leaves were damaged (beaten? torn?) and in the addition the leaves on the bottom side have brown discolouration - caused micro cell damage - brown speckles). Very upset. I wish they would take it back and give a better one…like the one they show on their website…ps. The added heat packs for which I also paid were ice-cold!

I have ordered from PLNTS hundreds of times over the years and usually I am quite happy with the plants themselves. When a plant arrives damaged, customer service normally replaces it or offers a voucher, which I appreciate.However, the last few months have been extremely frustrating.Shipping costs keep changing without any clear logic: first €10 to Belgium, then €6, and now suddenly free shipping from €50. That alone is confusing, but the gift card system is the real problem.PLNTS “gift cards” are not real gift cards — they are discount codes. This means: • You can only use one gift card per order • Gift cards cannot be combined • If your order is higher than the gift card value, you still pay shipping • Even if you only need to pay a small remaining amount (e.g. €5), shipping is charged againSo in reality, these gift cards do not work like gift cards at all.On top of that, the Advent Calendar is very disappointing. It sounds fun, but almost none of the “daily gifts” can be combined with gift cards. That makes the whole concept feel pointless.Customer service does reply after 1–2 days and usually tries to help, but honestly, this system should simply be fixed. For a company of this size, this experience is not acceptable.

Just don't

Big no for me. The plant arrived ruined, completely out of its pot, the plastic container had opened, and the soil was everywhere. I don’t know whether it will survive. Never again. I’m giving one star only because zero stars isn’t an option. No one who cares about plants would ship them this way.

I ordered four plants

I ordered four plants, two regular-sized and two baby plants. The package was shipped on Wednesday and delivered on Tuesday. Upon arrival, the plants were cold, as the heat pack was insufficient. Three of the plants arrived overwatered, and these plants have since died.The fourth plant was a large Zamioculcas Raven. This plant did not arrive overwatered and has survived so far.After contacting customer service, I received the following response: “I’d like to offer you a refund for this plant in the form of a discount code (excluding shipping costs and sales).”I do not recommend this company.

Terrarium set arrived smashed - twice!

Ordered a terrarium set as a gift. It arrived at the recipient’s house shattered into a million pieces as the glass vase wasn’t protected in any way. I contacted customer care and after being offered a measly discount, I demanded a replacement. This arrived broken once again, in no way protected during its trip from NL to Ireland. My friend injured herself discarding of yet another box of broken glass. Now they will only offer me a voucher for the website, not even the full amount of the terrarium set. They have stated this is because the plants in the set arrived okay. However the entire gift is now defunct because of the missing key element - the vase! I wanted to gift my friend an experience of putting the terrarium together, instead she received two incredibly disappointing and dangerous boxes of broken glass. Appalled at the lack of customer service, they will only give you one reply per day on Whatsapp and if you prompt them they ask for your order number and details all over again. So impersonal and unprofessional. Avoid!
