I regrettably cannot recommend this shop for refurbished Aeron Miller chairs due to a profoundly frustrating experience. In mid-December, I placed an order, only to discover by month’s end that the warehouse had forgotten to ship it. Over the following month, I constantly nudged customer support via email and chat, receiving sporadic replies (at best—they responded to only 30% of chat inquiries). Despite assurances, the chair never shipped.Exhausted by the lack of accountability, I requested a refund. Two weeks later, I’m still waiting for my money, with zero communication from their team. Emails go unanswered, and chat support remains inconsistent.This shop’s combination of operational incompetence, abysmal communication, and disregard for customer concerns is staggering. Save yourself the stress and avoid purchasing here—reliable service and basic professionalism are clearly absent.
I purchased a chair on august 10th.Today’s the 18th of september and still nothing in sight, my item is said to be shipped on the website (it has been a few weeks)No reply from the company despite my mails, no info whatsoever. At this point I believe it might be a scam.I do not recommendUPDATE : the chair finally arrived, I couldnt check it yet but I finally heard from the supplier, it seems they had issues with the shipping company. I’d rate 3 stars IF the chair is in good state because then it would be a fine deal given the price, but yet I expect WAY MORE communication from a company when I pay 500€, being left with no answers for several weeks is not normal.
Ordered a brand new Aeron, it arrived after 14 weeks (order placed June 12th, chair arrived September 11th). To understand why it was taking so long I tried reaching out on August 1st, 8th, 27th and 29th. Only on August 8th, did I get a response saying the chair would be on its way the following Tuesday (it was not). I would say it's understandable to get a bit uneasy when the delivery is a quarter of a year(!)Once the chair arrived, it arrived with the back rest disassembled with no screws to assemble it... so I can't sit in it. Unsure whether I only need to mount the back rest or whether screws are missing elsewhere as well, as there are no accompanying instructions.Hopefully I will have the whole chair, including screws, by next week. Adding this delay to the delivery we might reach 15 weeks, maybe more, who knows? Low price, but you get what you pay for in terms of service...
I got the chair last week, good packaging (unlike the last time), and all was kind of good. Except:- Six weeks from placing the order until delivery, where only one week spent on transit and five weeks just waiting for fulfilment- When I asked about the status after three or four weeks of waiting, I got no response. Ever. None.- The chair comes in two pieces and the material to put those pieces together wasn't there. Bummer! I had to buy the bolts in a local DIY shop and of course they look ugly.- I opened a ticket for the missing parts a week ago and there's no reaction.Update: after the review was published, I got contacted by RefurbishedMiller people and they sent me the missing parts. They also followed up the delivery and when it seemingly got stuck at customs, they send me another set of bolts. Overall, good service. I just wish I didn't need to go public about my experience as I was totally okay with resolving the issue via support channels.
I ordered a herman miller Sayl chair on June 13, after 10 days I see from their website that the chair has not been shipped yet, I send an email to ask for clarification, on June 28 I finally get a reply, they say they will prepare the chair right away and ship it the same day or within 2 days at most and that they will give me the tracking number. After 2 days I still don't have a tracking but on their site now the order shows as delivered. Too bad the chair was never shipped.Edit: After i sent another email, they reply to me and give me a tracking number. Also seems the order was labeled as delivered due to poor translation from dutch to italian.Edit: The chair arrived, since I received the tracking number it has only been 5 business days. The shipping was very fast. The chair is in perfect condition, like new, I also received new soft castors as a gift. Aside from some initial misunderstandings mainly due to the site being poorly translated into my language and the ticket function that I believe doesn't work (email info refurbishedmiller.com directly if you want a quick response, don't use the ticket function on the site) I am delighted with the purchase and thank Bram with all my heart (I think that's his name) in customer service for his kindness and infinity patience. Recommended.

Update: My chair finally arrived and it was as nice as I expected. Delivery was made around 5 weeks after payment was made.Most of the problems seems to have been transport related. As a customer with no ruling over logistics I consider the vendor as much to blame in transport as if the problems would have been in their own warehouse - if transportation does not meet standards they should not be contracted!Original post:Sorry but all the trouble I have had so far gives me no choice but to give a 1-star review - have they gone AWOL with their customers money!?Firstly upon order the system broke and my order did not get handled in a few days.On my third try in contacting by email I finally got an excusing answer, saying sorry we will fix this.But it still was another week, and more emails, before my chair was even picked up by DHL.(at this point the delivery time was already far past what is currently stated online)When my chair was finally sent to DHL something happend in transit and after another two weeks I no longer get any answers to my emails.I have asked for getting another chair sent instead, and also to cancel my order and refund me, but this does not seem to make any difference..It is now more than 4 weeks since my order and still no chair, and my money seems gone..
