Great experience with Richard F Mackay. Ionna was a knowledgeable and non-pushy sales person. New bed and mattress delivered today as per agreed time. Steven and Reece were efficient and careful with the delivery taking the beds in & out without any damage beds set up and they took away the rubbish and our old mattress and bed frame.
I have been looking for a set of 4 dining chairs for a few years now and I just found the perfect set in Richard F Mackay. However, I was not allowed to buy them. I am absolutely gutted, but more than that I am amazed! The reason I was given is that the Manager “already has two dining tables without chairs, so has paired these chairs with this table and will not sell them separately”. These chairs do not go well with the table they have been paired with. They would go perfectly with the table I have at home and with the colour of my other dining furniture and the walls. But I can’t have them, because the Manager doesn’t want to sell them without a table they don’t actually look good with!!! You are a furniture shop! If you have tables without suitable chairs, then order some suitable chairs! If you have a customer who wants to buy your chairs and you are in the business of selling furniture, sell the chairs! Unbelievable. And I am so so so disappointed. And very cross.
Absolutely no regrets about approaching this firm when we eventually recognised our mattress should be replaced. Jas very helpfully guided us through the decision making process, with no pressures to purchase, and organised delivery and installation of our new bed with removal of our old one. Neil and Steve arrived when expected - and the whole process was completed with efficiency. All hassle free! A great relief. Friendly, helpful service from start to finish and with the reassurance that we can contact at anytime should we need further advice.
Visited the Edinburgh store on Saturday, after speaking to Jazz who listened to my complex needs.When we arrived she had chosen a selection of easy chairs which we then quickly decided on ideal chair. She had wheelchair ready for my arrival and provided us with refreshments. She had listened to my needs and knowing how much I needed quick delivery, arranged with the help of Dazz her colleague they followed us home with our purchase.I have never before felt so well looked after and both couldn’t have been more helpful.We will be going back to add to our furniture as the range is amazing Thanks again to both Jazz &Dazz
Do NOT buy a kitchen from this company. It took them 5 months to install and we are left will a kitchen that is sub standard after spending a huge amount of money.The customer service is appalling. Once they have your money they are not interested.
