after studying many robots. I decided on the pool bot 300. Why? Price was excellent. Reviews are mostly very good. Also Customer support is in Australia. An important thing for me for any warranty claims. Overall it’s a great thing, and I’m very happy!
Bought a PoolBot B150 Cordless Robot Pool Cleaner in early December, as a xmas special for $790 ...arrived in a few days and iha actually has more functionality than expected/advertised (appears the model was upgraded from what's advertised/video) as it has wifi app to the phone and a range of etting options. It actually appears to be a somewhat rebadged Wybot C1 Pro (according to the software app). Used it about 5 times and does the job very well. Only rating 4 stars as I have not had to deal with after sales service yet.....and hopefully won't need to any time soon. [Originally was going to buy an Aiper for around $900, which appeared to have the same functionality as my "upgraded" Poolbot has now, but ended up cancelling the order after 3 different prices ...the whole customer experience (overseas) has put me off Aiper, including the extra $40+ charged because it's charged as $AU but billed overseas so international credit card charge 4.5%]. This company has an Australian address/shop so looks like it may be better than dealing overseas.
Total scam artists. I purchased a window cleaner robot at the Auckland home show. I was told they were opening a local office in case there were any issues. Short story - the product doesn’t work, they suggested I purchase more products from them to help it do a better job. I sent it back (my cost) so they could inspect it for a refund and now after months of emailing they have ghosted me. They took my money AND the product! DO NOT BUY from this company!!
Under no circumstances buy from this company. They sold me faulty product that worked twice then broke. Refused to refund, made me go through weeks of troubleshooting over the phone to try and fix. Finally got me to send back product to them. Once returned no repairs undertaken, they stopped communicating with me, kept the product and my money. This company are theifs. DO PURCHASE FROM ROBOT MY LIFE GO TO A REPUTABLE COMPANY. I'll be a year in soon with no product and out of pocket $900
