BUYER BEWARE! I purchased the Poolbot B150 from Robot My Life in November 2024. It wasn't cheap! and it only lasted 8 months before it didn't turn on. In early August 2025, after numerous phone calls(it should be noted that you CAN NO LONGER actually speak to anyone on the phone) and multiple emails it was decided that the unit was faulty & it needed to be returned for repair. I sent the unit back as per their instructions 28 August & heard nothing until after I had chased it up with 5 emails and 3 calls to find out where my poolbot was. A reply was finally sent back to me 6 October explaining that because they only have 1 technician & there are multiple faulty units being returned, my unit is in a queue and that they needed more time. The agreed upon timeframe was originally 5-6 weeks to repair my unit. At the six week mark I received another email to advise they need more time and today I have received the same email requesting more time. I have requested a full refund but it has been refused because it is passed the 30 day money back guarantee, despite them not being able to give me an accurate timetable for the repair. If they were a decent company with any ethical values they would honour the refund request due to their poor product, poor service & stress caused by this ordeal.I am not alone as there are many that are having this issue with Robot My Life. No wonder their comments are disabled on their social media posts. 40+ emails to date, I have been without an operating unit for over 3months.Robot My Life are selling loads of inferior units and are not set up to support the demand for repairs. DO NOT BUY FROM ROBOY MY LIFE.
DO NOT SPEND A CENT WITH THEM. I love the products or rather the promise of making life easy is more accurate in all honesty. It's the shockingly useless customer service for repairs to a $4000+ mower. Excuses as to why I am yet to receive a refund for a vacuum/mop bot never delivered of $1300 roughly. HORRENDOUS COMPANY. JUST READ THE ONLINE COMMENTS EVERYWHERE AND SERIOUSLY AVOID AVOID AVOID.
Bought a home vac in late Jan 2025. By mid Feb it had stopped working. After a LOT of back and forward with customer service, we sent it back for repairs, although we did not want it repaired, we wanted a new vac or a refund. They told us we were not entitled to a refund due to us having reported the problem 30 days post purchase, which was a lot of rubbish.Sent it tracked, they received it on the 10th of April 2025. To this day we still do not have the vac bac, nor did we get a refund. I have lost count of the number of emails.I got a lot of guff saying that their tech had gotten COVID and they were backed up with other repairs. I complained to Consumer Affairs, but they cannot do anything, I would have to take it to VTAC.I sent them a registered letter, highlighting all issues, and I have not heard back from them.Currently considering contacting the ombudsman, as this company should not be allowed to continue trading and scamming customers.
The pool cleaner stopped working and I just can’t get a response from the company All you get is a bot answering and then you get a ticket number but nothing happens Bunnings has the same pool cleaner $100.00 cheaper at $399.00 and they will honour their warranty Hiding behind a bot isn’t very business minded and almost a scam Now I won’t buy from this company again Next year when I have time I’ll be informing the ACCC of the work practices also read the other reviews and they are saying the same thing about this company
Dont deal with this company. Google the reviews first. They owe us a refund for a product we purchased but wasn't in stock. Now they dont reply to emails and the phone number goes no where. We still haven't received our refund and can't contact anyone.
I bought a Pool robot 12 months ago with a 2 year warranty and they are uncontactable. There phone number is a message directing you to contact them via email or website. I did so a dozen times and still not received a response. They are a scam.
I bought an $800 pool robot from them online in October. When I purchased it, there was stock online. Immediately after purchasing it I got an email saying it was out of stock and would be sent from the warehouse in 1-2 months. I replied via email saying to cancel my order and refund my money. I then only got automated emails in reply or saying it had been sent to accounts and no refund, despite sending 8 emails requesting the refund and checking the status. I only got my refund as I reported them to the PayPal resolution centre. 2.5 months of hell-don’t recommend…
Bought a Hobot D8 VACCUM AND MOP and Lulu Tower 6 months ago. The Vacuum and mop has stopped working and won't take a charge. I've tried to contact the company several times, including raising a service and warranty ticket and NO RESPONSE. You can't even call them or speak to a sales person. I'm totally disgusted.
L bought a cordless top of the range swimming pool cleaner, payed $1490 was on the 2nd October never arrived and had heard no more from them, have rung that many time, left messages still no answer, l think l have been scamed, what a ripe off !!!!! Sandra
