Do NOT buy a product from this company. Pool Cleaner stopped working properly within first 12 months. They do not honour the two year warranty. The phone number supplied isn't answered. I sent 25 emails requesting help as to why the robot wasn't working, and, after often having to follow up after no response, an empty suggestion on what could be causing the problem was given. After 4 months of back'n'forth, they finally agreed for the unit to be sent back, only to be advised that it will be 4 to 5 weeks for it to be looked at!! I was advised by the consumer advocate to request a refund as a fair and reasonable solution in this situation. Robotmylife never responded to these suggestions to resolve the matter, just gave more excuses about why they haven't done anything. If you have a warranty issue, be prepared to lodge a complaint with Consumer Affairs Victoria or VCAT to get any meaningful action from robotmylife.
Avoid this company, pool cleaner failed multiple times within months of purchase. To cut the story short, You will have to take them to small claims court to which they do not show up and play a game, they obviously have done this to so many people that they know how to get around australian law.
My experience with both the Ultenic T10 and with Robot My Life has been nothing short of astonishingly bad. The first vac sent did not work, 2nd one sent worked for less than 10 runs, then eh customer service provided was so poor. just kept asking for videos and phots. We have finally lodged a QCAT claim to get a refund as they refused to refund us in breach of Australian consumer law and have them take this product back
This entire company is a sham. I purchased the D8 with the LuLu tower, within 5 mths the silicon brushes that clean the mop once per day complety fell apart i was told you pay for new once as it is a consumable hang on 5mths??? Now the D8 will not connect the the app i was told that i should test it on an android not apple however it was working just fine on this phone. No customer service and they DO NOT HONOUR THE WARRENTY You can not call them and they do not answer the emails
IF I COULD GIVE A -5 STAR REVIEW I WOULD.I purchased a wireless Poolbot 150 from this SCAM company as a replacement for my existing wired pool cleaner. Worst decision of my life! The unit started off well enough but after a few weeks it was failing miserably to clean the pool. I noticed there was condensation inside the control panel, obviously this was an issue as the bot would simply run in circles around the bottom of the pool instead of following its preset paths. I contacted the company and after sending videos and photos to them they agreed to send me a return label for me to send the unit back for assessment and repair. This was several months back now, I have contacted them via phone multiple times to be told the same thing over and over again: "this has been escalated to my manager".It obviously either hasn't been escalated or has been totally ignored by the manager. I have asked for a refund for the product so that I can buy a replacement one, from a different supplier, and this has been ignored too.IF YOU WANT TO EXPERIENCE A TOTAL LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE, THIS IS THE COMPANY TO DEAL WITH.
I bought a $1200 robot vacuum and cleaning tower bundle. Just 5 months in, the robot failed with a motherboard issue, confirmed by their technician. After much back and forth, they finally agreed to repair it and sent a returns label, but then lost the unit entirely. When I followed up, I was given a false tracking number for a robot that was sent to Brisbane, whereas I am in Perth, this was clearly intended to delay me while they located the unit.With months of delays and no resolution, I exercised my right under Australian Consumer Law to request a refund, which I clearly communicated multiple times. Despite this, they sent an unsolicited replacement robot, that I had not agreed to have, again a tactic to see if I would give up fighting for my refund to keep the replacement.Later, the original robot mysteriously reappeared at their head office in May, after it had somehow been returned to me and sent back again. They eventually agreed to issue a refund, but demanded I pay return postage for both the unwanted replacement and the cleaning tower (which was sold as part of the bundle).They claimed the refund had been processed, but it took over a week and a half to arrive in my account then was reversed from my account less than 24 hours later. The refund was only reinstated after my conciliation officer at the ACCC escalated the matter and I prepared to file a complaint with the courts.If this company has taken your money or left you with faulty goods, don’t stay silent. Contact the ACCC or Consumer Protection, and push back. Robot My Life is a prime example of a business that shows little regard for consumers or their obligations under Australian law.
A scam company. My shopping experience with them was a nightmare. Paid $2k in December 2023 for a Poolbot B300, it never turned up till date. Have been chasing after chasing, with both of their OZ and NZ office. Nothing happened. They just don't care at all. Now I'm exhausted and give up
Do not buy from these guys. I purchased a Mowbot in February 2025. At the end of April 2025 (nearly 3 months), the power supply failed. I sent over 6 emails to them asking that they replace the power supply under warranty. Eventually their answer was and this is the exact wording from their email to me and I quote: "Regarding the replacement power supply, we do apologize as we don't have it in stock. Also, since this is considered a consumable product, we are unable to cover the replacement under warranty. However, you can go ahead and purchase it from our partner reseller at (they sent a link to Robot Lawn Mowers)" Judge them for yourselves - my advise - be very careful, they do not back their product with legit warranties.
I ordered an S10 mower. I have previously owned one and the product is good. However, this time despite taking my order online I am now sent an email saying no stock for " a month or so ". I have requested a refund but reading these reviews I am now worried. I will update this review if my refund is processed.UPDATE 9 May. I was promised a refund, Then offered a cheaper Vaccuum Mop to replace the Lawn Mower I ordered !!!! Once again refund has been promised I will see if it arrives. Otherwise I expect its lawyer time.UPDATE 23 May. Still no refund. As an aside when you look at their recent 5 star reviews many are discussing software and workflow updates, nothing to do with the robots that they sell. I wonder what their real rating would be if these were removed.UPDATE 31 May. Still no refund.
