Dear RSAWEB Your ACCOUNTS department SUCKS THOUGH RSAWEB WITH COMMUNICATION AND RESPONSE. I GET TOLD TO HOLD OR WILL GET CALLED BACK AND NEVER DO THEN I ALSO RECEIVE OUTSTANDING BILLS OF WHICH I HAVE ALREADY PAID. SOMEONE'S NOT DOING THEIR JOB
RSAWeb has proven to be the most incompetent and inefficient service provider I have ever dealt with. I was a loyal customer for three years, paying my account every month without fail. When I relocated from Plettenberg Bay to Cape Town, I communicated clearly that the new owner would take over the line and that the changeover should be handled seamlessly to avoid any disruptions.Despite this, on 1 March 2025, RSAWeb inexplicably cancelled the line, leaving us completely stranded over the weekend. Their excuse? "Admin is only authorized to switch you back on from Monday to Friday." Meaning, they couldn’t care less about their customers being left without service for an entire weekend. When Monday finally arrived, I was then informed that reconnection would take an additional THREE WORKING DAYS! How utterly bizarre, how completely ridiculous! This is, without a doubt, the worst customer service experience of 2025.Consumers are at their mercy, with no rights, no consideration, and absolutely no accountability from their side. If you value reliable service and competent support, STAY AWAY from RSAWeb!
This has been an extremely frustrating experience with RSAWEB. It is disheartening to see how companies can exploit individuals who are simply trying to earn an honest living. I placed an order for internet service on January 27th, paying R745 upfront, only to find that I was double-billed by my previous ISP after moving to a new property. After multiple calls and ticket submissions to RSAWEB, I informed them that the ONT and fiber were missing from my new property. I provided pictures to support my claim, and a Vumatel engineer was dispatched to confirm the missing equipment. The engineer indicated that a new installation would be required, which was scheduled for February 20th. However, after the engineer left, RSAWEB claimed they were unaware of the situation and stated that the last update from Vumatel indicated no available fiber port for my property. They then advised that there was no estimated time for installation, and it could take up to six months. I find it unacceptable that a company would demand upfront payment without delivering the promised service. This feels like outright exploitation. In response to my concerns, RSAWEB offered me an LTE service for an additional R472, bringing my total to R1,217, excluding the R750 charged by my previous ISP—yet I still have no internet service. I am perplexed as to how a company can operate in such a manner, without offering any meaningful assistance or customer service.
This company is a ripoff. My advice to the reader is...IF you are looking for an honest and reliable ISP provider, give rsaweb a skip. Since being with them I never received the line speed I have been paying for...from.day.one.When I was paying for a 100mbps line, we never got higher tham 20mbps...even with a cable plugged into laptop and/or android tv.Then we were upped to 300mbps...now its like the lame joke that never stops: we do not even clear 100mbps.They are quick to accept your payments but slow or a no-show when they need to come to the party.Save yourself from the mental health bills you will be receiving because of this frustrating third world company.Ultimately you do NOT receive the product or service you are paying for...nor a decent support system. They do not deserve the one star I gave them...only because LESS was not an option.Useless company.UPDATE: Today on the 2nd March 2025 I receive an email that they are HIKING their non-performing price. LOL. They are actually a joke...but I am not laughing anymore.
