On the 29th of November 2024

On the 29th of November 2024, I applied to RSWweb for a 100mb/100mb line. Little did I know that this would turn into the worst service I have ever received from any company, and I am not even a client yet.Out of the people I spoke to (Dawid, Joy, and Jade(Did not speak to Jade, he was just Named a few Times), only Joy was willing to go the extra mile to try and sort out the problem, but she was told to leave it alone as it is not her lead.In short, here are some of the problems, as I would have to write a book if I had to repeat everything.1. On the 29th, I asked Dawid about specials (the 3-month special price, apps for R0, and the PS5 competition, as well as arranging for installation for the end of the month). He could not assist me with that information at the time (which was not the worst, but at least he was honest). He replied that he was unsure and that he would get back to me in an email.2. On the 2nd of December 2024, I received a phone call from Openserve. They wanted to come and install my 50mb line from RSAweb. I explained to Openserve that I applied for a 100mb line and that this was incorrect. They said they would cancel the call and that I would have to reapply for the line. So, while Openserve was on the line, I reordered my line. This is important in explaining why and how Joy comes into this.3. I decided to contact Dawid to find out what the story is, as I had not received any feedback from him and to find out why Openserve wants to install a 50mb line. This turned into a big fight, as he did not want to accept that something was wrong and kept saying he sent me an email. I explained to him that I did not receive any email from him, including in my spam and deleted folders. Because we were not getting anywhere, I asked to speak to his manager. He then said the manager was in a meeting and that he could not transfer me. Me, fuming at this stage, agreed that he would have his manager call me within three hours. (FYI, I am still waiting for that call.)Ninety minutes later, Joy phoned me (because of the new call I had to log when I cancelled the 50mb line). I then explained everything to Joy, who tried to assist me. Joy said she would need to speak to the manager to see how she could help me. Joy then sent a Teams message to the manager and explained that she would get back to me by the next day at the latest.4. At 18:02 on the 2nd of December (which I only read at 22:00), I received an email confirming my order for my new 50mb/25mb line and that I need to pay approximately R200 for delivery. I then replied to the email (blowing my top at this stage), saying, "Wrong, wrong, wrong! I ordered the 100mb line." Just a few seconds later, I received a ticket for this: "Dear WILMA PEROLD, Your ticket has been created with the ticket ID 3318626 and the subject 'Re: RSAWEB | Thank you for your order.' Someone from our customer service team will review it and respond shortly. Regards, RSAWEB Support Team." Well, this took me over the top. Who is WILMA PEROLD? How did my info get mixed in with hers? Is this why RSAWEB keeps getting my order wrong?5. I called today, the 3rd of December (I can’t even remember the name of the first person I spoke to about the email), but again, it was someone who did not want to help. She just confirmed that my email was on the wrong person’s profile. When I asked if this could be the cause of all the problems, she brushed me off and said she was going to transfer me to Joy or Dawid because they must deal with this. So, I got transferred to Joy. When Joy heard it was me, she tried to help again but was told she could not assist me because it was not her lead. I then told her about my new email as above. Joy asked me to hold while she took it up with someone. While on hold, I started searching for who the CEO and service manager for RSAWEB is. Before Joy got back to me, I saw RSAWEB’s Trustpilot score of 1 star, from 83% of the people who rated the service. This only confirmed that I was not the only person having such bad service from RSAWEB, and I was not even a client yet. When Joy got back to me, I told her there was nothing against her, as she was the only person trying to help clear up this mess. But the Trustpilot score just confirmed to me that RSAWEB does not care about clients or service, and I asked her to cancel everything. I told her that I would be writing this email. As I said, this is the short version of what happened to me, and I lost my cool more than once with the service I received. I hope that this email will receive the attention it needs to rectify RSAWEB's service for all new clients trying to apply.

I am not a happy camper

I am not a happy camper. Today the 12th of November our internet was cut due to non payment as per Rsaweb, we payed the account on the 3rd of November. My wife phoned them tonight and after a long time on hold, Rsaweb employee told my wife we need to send a bank statement per email to proof we have paid. This will obviously happen tomorrow only. If Rsaweb said sure we will connect you immediately, but will disconnect you tomorrow if no proof are submitted, I would have been okay with this. We are customers of Rsaweb for many years, and this is the way they treated us, I do not need them.Fortunately we pay monthly and I have no contract with them. I will be looking elsewhere for better service.

HORRIBLE SERVICEI

I did an order in the 14th Oct 2024 and submitted all required Documents. I was advised to call in on the 28th of October to finalize which I did. On the 1st Nov 2024 I called in because I did not receive a router after having cancelled my subscription with my existing isp only to be told by RSA Web projects team that the order wasn't even placed with Openserve and that it could take another 5 to 10 business days to be activated. No one in Sales or projects calls you back and they have loaded a debit order on my account so I now have to pay for nothing whilst having to reactivate my old ISP. Don't chose this company if you don't want problems.

Not even 1 star is worth it.

Not even 1 star is worth it.The worst service and provider, internet is down at least once a month and you will be on the phone for at least an hour trying to sort it out. Unbelievable! My internet has been down for 4 days now after multiple calls to them, then they send me an email that everything is fine yet I have to make ultanative to get online. They can't even call you back because they have "calls on the queue". I completely regret subscribing for this service, it's the work ever.

1st world technology, 3rd world 'technicians' and service

RSAWEB, what an incredible hogwash company that is!We cancelled their services and of course were committed to the 30 days cancellation windows. After a week a courier was at the gate collecting the router...hold on, we have the right for still 30 days internet service. Not that RSAWEB cares, they shut us down which is already breach of contract. We were also told in writing the VOIP (phone line) would be transferred to the new provider WIRULINK. RSAWEB did not do so and now they claim they cannot find the number, they simple cancelled our business number! First of all the reason why leaving RSAWEB is a company becoming to big, too fast and they have automated systems rather than personal client contact. Not only I lodged a complaint to the Ombudsman, we will see them in court!1st world technology, 3rd world RSAWEB 'technicians'. Reason why we left: our internet started cutting off on a regular basis in November last year, their own technicians (after demanding one as they said there is no problems) said there is something wrong. Miraculously the problem was solved (still claiming nothing was wrong), things went well and end of January 2024 back to the same issues as in November 2023. Same line, no issues at all with WIRULINK which actually has people talking to you rather than automated system that don't work in the first place.
