Shap lcd tv 40" 4 yrs old

Shap lcd tv 40" 4 yrs old. Screen is dead. Have sound. This tv from new has frequently had to be disconnected to reboot the chip when it refused to change channels etc. I wouldn't mind but I gave away a perfectly good Sony bravia 40" when I got this. I wouldn't touch another sharp.

If I could leave a zero review I would. I called sharp three different times got three different women that could barely speak English very knowledgeable very rude and all three said something different about my issue. One woman had me convinced she was correct thankfully I did not take her advice or I would have blown up my headphones. Then I made the mistake of emailing tech support if you can believe it was a worse experience than the phone calls. Nobody there has any knowledge of anything I knew more than the technician did.. I will never be buying a Sharp Aquos TV again... When you make a purchase you look at the whole picture the price the quality and the service after the sale they have no service after the sale!

I once thought Sharp was a reputable brand

I thought Sharp was a reputable brand. Big mistake. The compressor of the Sharp SJ-BB05DTXWE-EN fridge-freezer I bought from Currys has been running constantly since it was installed and has never reached an adequate temperature regardless of the thermostat setting. None of the Sharp customer service options work. Nobody replies to communications via their online form or email address, and their phone numbers put you through to switchboard menus that either do not route you anywhere or simply cut the call. Their product warranty is not worth the paper it is written on. Do not trust this company, do not buy their products.

Sharp Aquos wall mounted TV

Sharp Aquos wall mounted TV I have never owned such a dreadful heap of electronics. Huge delays between the remote and the set, TV will hang for no apparent reason, you have to turn it off at the wall and restart it before you can use it again....quelle surprise...itvx has now stopped working as the software is out of date and cannot be updated. Sharp, I don't know who is making your tvs now, but they are doing your brand no favours....I will NEVER buy Sharp again and will recommend my friends don't either. A piece of garbage frankly.

Terrible product, terrible customer service

We bought a Sharp microwave oven with grill (Model: YC-MG02U-S) in January 23 and, one year later, are about to dispose of it. Our advice to you, in short: DON'T BUY ONE!It began to burn popcorn (which had previously cooked OK) and then a small savoury on 40% power for 4 minutes burnt so badly the room stank of acrid smoke and the new John Lewis plate it was on cracked in two.Curry's directed us to UMC UK (Sharp customer services) who suggested we cook something else in the microwave(!!) or that the problem was the plate - in other words they're not taking responsibility, despite the MW being clean + lightly used.We're much happier with the 20L Swan MW we've replaced it with. Prefer the interior as it's white not grey like the Sharp, has a brighter light, and a less incessant beeper + of course it cooks evenly with far less condensation and doesn't burn things.Extremely disappointed with Sharp and Curry's despite longevity of previous Sharp MW. This one doesn't come close.

Sharp on Ebay microwave purchase return…

Sharp have now refunded me pity they clearly did not read my emails since return.Sharp on Ebay microwave purchase return collection failed DPD driver did not have the label. up to that point they had replied promptly to my emails. They told me to cancel the return and they would rearrange collection. Royal mail collected acknowledgement of receipt of return 6 February. Emails from me asking when refund will be given have not been answered. .....now refunded

Absolutely awful

Absolutely awful, do not buy anything from sharp, it will be faulty straight away, the worst company in the world or the universe, washing machine lasted 1 hour and gave me an electric shock

Faulty new microwave, zero response from Sharp after 3 weeks.

Faulty new microwave. Zero response from online form. Emailed them instead. Still zero response. After 3 weeks looked for phone number on their own customer service page. Number doesn't work. Googled another number. It rang but when you press 1 to get through to microwave support it says call rejected, contact the systems administrator, or something like that. £120 down the drain it would seem!

PURCHASED A 50” so called Google assistant ok Google tv for mother in law yesterday spent for ever setting up and looking for Google assistant button on remoteThere is not one anywhere Emailed and phoned sharp regarding this they say no it does not have one but download the app to a android phone and use thisThis is absolutely stupid a lot of older people do not have mobile and how are they expected to use this and if you did you have to then find your phone get the app up then speak to your phone for instructions to your tvI have a jvc and don’t have all this messing around with Google assistant sharp need to get there finger out and sort this out It states all over the box saying Google assistant and ok Google but nowere it says you need a android phone to use this facilityDO NOT BUY THE SHARP TVS WHAT A WASTE OF TIME

R861 Combination Microwave broken less than 2 years

Bought a R861 Combination Microwave in May 2022. Countdown timer freezes and it is now tripping our electrics. Given it is clearly a risk, out of warranty and customer service reviews will scrap it and go back to basic model (not sharp)
