Internet still not live 4 days after it should have been. Every customer service agent tells me something different (I have now spoken to around 7 people). Terrible customer service. Can’t comment on speed because we have no internet. They keep telling me someone will phone me back and nobody does. Shockingly bad.
I've had an incredibly frustrating experience with Shell Broadband. The staff has proven to be unhelpful, and the management appears inefficient. Originally scheduled to go live on 9 Nov, the dates were repeatedly delayed to 17 Nov, then 27 Nov, and I still do not have wifi!! AND, they continue to charge me despite assuring me I would not be billed! Despite numerous requests for updates, there has been a lack of communication. Even simple instructions, like preferring email over calls, have been ignored. Despite asking them to call my husband instead of calling me, they persist in calling me! My patience has worn thin, and I strongly advise considering alternatives to Shell. Their service has been nothing short of rubbish!
I have actually been trying to assist my 94 year old friend and neighbour, whom is vulnerable and reliant upon his internet for medical and personal services. He has been without a connection for 4 weeks now.all i keep getting told is that we will update the notes and someone will call us back and no one does.i had provided my details for when the first engineer had been scheduled. this was not passed onto the engineer and having tried to call my friends dead wife, reported the number not being in service. the last engineer failed to turn up at all and shell cannot even explain why. on a call today they told me an engineer had come yesterday and could not get access which is fiction and i have since proved that to them. so lots of apologies each time i call but no action and no call back.it's a shameful treatment of a dignified old man that should expect at least one person there to care and help him out.
DO NOT USE shell broadband ! They’re a disgrace. Failed promises, lies, bad communication, no management system. They work with BT who are just as bad , I’ve had no broadband for over a week; I’ve never heard so many lies , it’s still not fixed, you get passed around from department to department and nothing is resolved , both shell and BT are the worse companies for broadband , save yourself the hassle n choose a diff supplier .
Spent about £300 on shell petrol to collect my fuel rewards. Drove past Esso garage to get last star . Went to shell. esso 4p litre cheaper cost me 2pound extra to fill up after getting ten stars at shell spending 300 on shell fuel got 1 pound cash reward …. Great
My broadband was supposed to go live on 07/11/23 but never did (everything was fine with the previous provider). After several complaints, Shell sent the engineer on 22/11/23. He confirmed that my brand new router sent by Shell was installed correctly and upgraded the master socket.However, this did not help. The engineer found that the phone line did not function and the problem was on the Shell side. He requested escalation to the Senior Investigator Team with a follow-up by visiting the property.The engineer submitted the report in my presence on 22/11/23 9am. However, after 3 full days, no-one has contacted me to book an appointment with the senior investigator team and I have been without internet for 17 days now.DO NOT USE SHELL.They have atrocious customer service, never call back, do not have adequate engineer staff and are not able (and interested) to fix their mess. I've also been already charged for their non-existent services.
