Wish l had read the reviews for Shell broad band their customer service dept know less than l do about internet issues l cant wait to leave them l am too bored with the issues lve had with my internet over almost three weeks but safe to say l would advise that they offer a rubbish service. l find it interesting that they don't comment on the poor reviews speaks volumes
My thoughts go out to you if you try to use their fuel rewards app. The employees at their garages act like the discounts are coming directly out of their wages. They’ll verbally abuse you for wanting to pay cash after they’ve chosen card on the till without asking you first and then call you stupid, and sometimes flat out refuse to scan your card just because?? They’ve cost me hundreds of pounds worth of points, which I could usually claim back online anyway but this last time I was even refused a receipt for my fuel. I put a formal complaint in against the garage and the higher-ups couldn’t care less. Took well over a month to respond and all they said was “we’ve retrained the staff”. No compensation, no freebie points, just a sour taste left from dealing with a shambles of a company. I use BP now instead where the staff are friendly and I’ve never failed to receive my loyalty points.
Shell Go+ app. The rewards app that doesn't give you rewards! The way it works is this. You earn rewards as you go. These are issued and you have to accept them to reclaim them. You then have a time limit to do so or they vanish. Problem is you aren't told they are issued. The first you hear about it is an email asking if you 'enjoyed your reward' after its expired. Their customer services is an absolute joke. Shame this website made me give 1 star as thats generous.
Activated two cards on one account - been scanning for months purchasing hundreds of pounds worth of fuel in our numerous vehicles unaware that the cards were deleted - I only phoned Shell Go+ to ask why the App no longer accepted my password ! Very polite call handler explained my cards were "deleted from their system" - explained, if unused over 2 year period this would happen, but I've not had the account a year yet and used it regularly --- TOTAL SCAM - I shall make a point of avoiding Shell Petrol stations !
Like some others collected Shell Go so called rewards, after 2 lots of 10 visits (spending at least £700 + on fuel I got £1.80 then £1.60 off, and a “free” packet of crisps seriously got to be the worst “reward” scheme ever. I emailed Head Office (politely) to say so and got a very condescending reply. As a result I have deleted the app and will just use supermarket fuel in future, I’ll never buy Shell again. I’m fully aware they do not give a toss that they will lose my £1200 per year but I’m making a stand….
She’ll go card is rarely recognised by the tills in fact the last 2 times hasn’t worked at all ,didn’t give me my £2 off reward ,staff not interested,live chat answer go to another shell garage . Oh great use more of my over expensive fuel driving to and from the mainland.Just going back to using supermarkets fuel stuff shell
Shell Go Plus - The most pointless reward scheme I've ever come across. The money off vouchers are absolutely pathetic; 10 visits to get a voucher, this equated to over £500 of V-Power fuel and after the 10th visit they "congratulated" me with a £1.00 voucher. Insulting, measly, pathetic joke. Also they give out surprise rewards of confectionery that I've never been able to redeem as they never stock the item in question.
