A retailer signed up me up for Shopify (I do not have a business), in error. I cannot cancel my email from Shopify, only advice from them is to set up an account.NO human to talk to.....I am in a 'doom loop'Shocking ServiceDo not sign up to this company
Impossible to speak to any human being; whether via email, telephone or live chat. Instead, they force you to have a conversation with a stupid A.I. bot; which is of no help at all.I find it absolutely laughable as I have a number of pre-sales questions. If a business doesn't let them ask any pre-sales questions, how can they expect any of us to purchase from them? I despise businesses who do this.I also don't like how they force you to use their Shopify Payments option; which I hate. I also worry about them freezing any income my business has generated.AVOID THIS COMPANY LIKE THE PLAGUE
I really hope this review helps other people from been scammed by this company! I use shopify for my website platform and three months ago they put a 10% reserve on my account which means they have held thousands of pounds in my money ! This has seriously damaged my business as in return I can not afford to place my stock orders. This has caused me a lot of stress and has really effected my mental health. I originally looked at working with shopify for help building my business and they have done the complete opposite. The customer service is poor, I can only speak to someone about this very serious issue via email and they are not helpful or kind in any way. In fact they are the opposite, very dismissive and still have not given me an exact answer as to why they are keeping my money ! I spend hundreds of pounds with shopify each month and now I feel completely scammed ! They have no complaints procedures in place and I am looking into taking legal action against these scammers and will be moving platforms to a more trustworthy professional company.
SHOCKING simply Shopify support no longer exists - i am expected to have a conversation with a bot - i don't have access to my Shopify account so have opened a new shop to get access to a bot - now 6 weeks on and chatted to real people - nothing has changed i am still looping round in a circle.
Do not use any shop that is running on the shopify platform. If there are any websites with good deals and you see shopify anywhere on the site then avoid, do not be tempted by any bargains just click the X and get of the site. Shocking company to speak to and literally didn’t care that one of there shops had scammed me and then closed their site down.
