These guys certainly win my 5-star WWCS Award: "WORLD'S WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE"!I had been unable to reach ANYONE in their CS section (if it even still exists?) for months, either by email or through internal messaging while logged in.In the end I had to raise a dispute with Amex about the disputed charge on my card. And guess what, they didn't even respond to Amex, over a 4-month period of Amex repeatedly asking them to explain. Incredible.In the end, Amex found in my favour by default and credited the disputed charge back to my card.Then next day, I logged back on to myUS and closed my account - good riddance to them! I was pleasantly surprised to find that they immediately credited the balance of this year's unused subscription fee back to my card - thank you for that much, at least.BUT YOU'LL NEVER GUESS WHAT HAPPENED NEXT... the very next day, AFTER my account was already closed, they then went and placed A FURTHER 12-MONTH SUBSCRIPTION FEE ONTO MY AMEX CARD!Now I have to open ANOTHER dispute with Amex in order to get THAT sorted as well!YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED: DO NOT EXPECT ANY CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM THIS COMPANY (unless you happen to regard unauthorised debits from your credit card as a form of 'customer service')!
Actually I am impressed with how they served me as a new member. So far, my experience with MYus is beyond my expectation. 1. The customer service is top notch! They handled me really well and I never been waiting for more than a minute to be served.2. When I decided to bought my Backpack from thenorthface.com, I found that I didn't have to pay the tax. Turns out, it was caused by my tax-free address given by MYus (this was actually reduced my expense around $16).3. TruePrice feature, I love it. It allows me to know my shipping cost in advance. Compare to other agents, their "Budget Economy" option is the cheapest I found.4. Long story short, I got a promotional email that says will cut off my first ever shipping cost by 20%-30%. However, by the time I found this email, I was already signed up directly to their website so it wasn't applied to my account. Then I talked to Mr. Roderick (customer service), he decided to escalate my story to his higher management, so hopefully my request will be granted in the near future.Actually I'm still okay with my current shipping price ($37), but what I care is their willingness to give me the best price available. I can imagine if the promotion is applied to my account then it's even cost me cheaper, again it's saved me another $6. So as you guys already know, the less you pay for the product and shipping cost, the less duties & taxes you need to pay. With my calculation, I could save up to $60. With that amount of money, I can feed a full McDonald meal for 12 persons in my country (Indonesia) during this Ramadhan.Overall, MyUS as a company, is truly inspiring me to do better to my own company. This company has different level of service! I love it!
I have been a customer of MyUS for about 2 years. Their service ranges from awful (at best) to a total disgrace and theft (at worst). In the last two years they have lost at least 5 items of mine - not even in transit, they lost them when the items were logged as received and IN their warehouse. I have not received ANY compensation despite their promises. Customer service is shocking, there is no way to contact any supervisor and emails just go unanswered or you receive a canned reply.Their facebook messenger customer service just directs you to email and is therefore zero help.The receivers classify things incorrectly. For example they have classified sewing buttons as coffee (the buttons were blue!) and then refused to change it, telling me that I have to pay for the change even though it is their mistake.They ask for receipts for items which need to include certain information, however when you send them the merchant receipt they refuse to accept it so then it goes back and forth for another week and then sometimes it's still unresolved weeks later. This has happened to me even with purchases from Amazon!Forget about trying to buy anything from a private seller, that is completely beyond their realm of comprehension - they cannot process any receipt that does not come from Walmart, Amazon or Target and even receipts from Paypal that have the item detailed, price and tracking info get declined. It's ridiculous.If you buy multiple items they are usually thrown (and I use that term very generously) into a box. There is absolutely ZERO care or attention put into packing your goods. Once my business account with MyUS comes to the end of the term I will be cutting ties with them. They are honestly the worst company I have ever dealt with and I will be actively discouraging anyone to use them at every opportunity.
Used this company twice.First timeRepackaged my purchase, ruining it in the process they told me tough I should have paid insurance. I got my money back through paypal.Second timeGave them another go. Paid insurance, gave strick instructions not to repackage.Money was taken out of my paypal account.....their new app didn't register the order and they refused to support without an order number. I had to again go through paypal and they refunded me a partial amount.....currently still on going.Useless, don't bother with them
Have been charged VAT by MYUS for a consignment valued at over £400 to the UK, even though they shouldn't for consignments over £135. They even have my VAT number, again meaning they shouldn't charge VAT (by using the reverse charge method). Their invoice doesn't even have a valid UK vat number. Also haven't had a response via their support system, no doubt will get a response to this before that happens.
Outrageously expensive. They have no toll-free number to call even though their customers are worldwide. I have written 3 emails was the no response. Each email they send to you comes from a no- reply. For a box that weighs 3.7 lbs, it was supposed to have been $37.99. I was charged $70.00 and some “Review” fee bc they said my suite# was not on my package but yet they one exactly who the package being to. I refused to accept this charge but they didn't respond to me and went a head charged my CC for even more and sent the parcel out. I am putting in a claim against them on my CC. This is a joke!
Criminal business conduct. Charged USD 284 for 10kgs of goods including consolidation fees and removed more than half the weight and placed back into 'compliance review' - where the very same items lingered for over a week for no good reason (hard disks!) - not responding to support tickets, chat refers back to support tickets and emails within 1-2 business days but nothing ever happens. In the end one has to 'dispose of items' - worth hundreds of dollars. My US claims they will professionally dispose of the items. I am sure they will show up on ebay. Stay away from these criminals!
They just make up the merchandise value!?! Directly contradicting how they claim they confirm the price from the invoice or with you directly. I paid 350 for my item and they recorded its value as 600 from nowhere and without checking with me. And from the other reviews here they do this often. AVOID AVOID AVOID.
