I’m sorry to say the whole experience has been frustrating and such hard work from the start. After almost a month we still have no working card and no working app despite emails, messages left on the answer machine and numerous attempts to get through by phone. Customer service is non-existent. I can honestly say this is the worst business I have ever dealt with. Extremely disappointed. Would not recommend.
Having tried to contact sibstar since 5th August trying to activate card.72 calls & no reply, eventually contacted alzheimers society who had suggested using sibstar who managed to get them to make contact. Now they state it will take a further 7 days to return funds. Beware anyone thinking of using this company, it's hopeless & certainly does not help elderly.
William within customer service helped me with the application process due to my brand new Samsung phone not being compatible with the set up on the app ( known to Sibstar) William was very engaging and knowledgeable on the set up process I have received the card for my sister the set up once account activated was quite straight forward add money to account load card activate card . This gives my sister a little bit of independence back when I take her out shopping One negative is their customer service process ringing or sending an email they just dont respond I was fortunate to actually make contact with William by choosing a different option when ringing them and he's been great
Good support service team. I was not able to activate a replacement card because the app would not allow the usual log on. I left a message on the Sibstar helpline and the following day received a message back from William at Sibstar who had fixed the issue.
Impossible to contact these people when there is a problem, they have one phone number which they state is also their emergency number but you can never get through and you cannot hold for a response you have to leave a message but they do not call you back , only other option is an email which they say will be responded to in 2 days, completely unacceptable
We have had a Sibstar card for our mum for a couple of years now, it’s was a bit of a frap getting it started but when it was up and running it was great but for the last few months we have been plagued with problems with the card not working properly, it is impossible to get hold of anyone on the phone, I have emailed but have not gotten any sense, they keep saying the card has been activated but on the app it’s saying activate card? So my mum has had no card for a month now and to top it off last night she got 3 monthly charges taken off her account for July and I can’t get through on the phone to see why! A bit rich when she’s not been able to use her card for a month, it should be a refund she’s getting not being charged extra!
