The standard of repair was very poor. Complained to White Dove in Cardiff and Skoda Head Office and I have still had no explanation for the poor standard of repair or customer service. Skoda warranty is not worth the paper it’s written on. Poor customer service and poor standards of repair. I have lost all faith and confidence in Skoda Brand.
2nd Purchase of a Skoda with Richmond Group at Botley I deliberately went back to Richmonds when looking for another Skoda as the experience all round was a really good service. So, looked after again by Taylor Rogers - who is a great asset to the garage, so polite, great humour and very attentive, again the process was easy. Thanks again Taylor and Richmonds.
Brought a ŠKODA kamiq from Trans city ŠKODA Walthamstow. Only done 7000 k. Delivered via transporter to Dorset and first time we drove it it smelt of petrol. Called out Roadside Breakdown who replaced a part but smell returned instantly. Booked it in to local ŠKODA dealership to be told it was a petrol leak and too dangerous to drive until repaired. Repairs took 3 weeks, no replacement car available. Contacted Trans city who said there had been no problem before delivery and it was a problem that developed once it arrived here! How anyone could have missed the petrol smell that was overwhelming, I don't know. They also criticised the other dealership for the repair delay and lack of replacement car but wouldn't collect the car themselves. Their word against mine. Frustrated and disappointed with the process and the experience. Like a lot of others would never trust or buy a used ŠKODA car from this dealership again.
My fathers vehicle was outstanding a very small amount of finance when he passed away - we notified Skoda finance within a week of his passing and expressed that we wanted to clear the outstanding and keep the vehicle (a car worth circa £14000 and around £800 outstanding) as my mother would keep the car for herself, after waiting around 6 weeks for the settlement we was advised the best plan of action ( amongst other options) was to hand back the car as full and final payment - no money would be paid back to the estate, we would just be square and without any debt associated with the vehicle - this leaves a bad taste, poor advise from your team - where would the remainder of money then go ?? To yourselves ?? Because it wasn’t offered to us. Needless to say we will never look to use your services again.
Purchased an Enyaq in April 2023, From Skoda Citygate in Watford. Cannot fault the drive of the car, one of the best in fully electric cars, however the car has been back to the dealership over 5 times for the same issue of the boot kick to open the boot. It does not always work. Contacted Skoda customer services as was not happy with the service from Citygate and after their investigation with the dealer, the customer service has no clue how do deal with this matter. An absolute waste of time. Best to deal with the dealer directly as the customer service is useless and a waste of time. Also do not expect any reports of when the car goes in for any repairs , as no reports are generated, if the dealer thinks the car is fine. The car itself is excellent to drive, just the problem with the book , that you would not expect from a new car. If you have any problems , keep in touch with the dealer . DO NOT waste time contacting SKODA customer services . They have no clue and will just read of scripts that are prepared for the operators to put customers at ease.
I purchased a Skoda Enyaq in July 2023 list price 52000€ wanted to trade in because i was only getting about 260km on a full charge i got a quote of 32000€ to change a price drop of 20000€ over 6months and 4500km on the clock I would advise anyone interested in buying a Skoda Enyaq bewar KieranCarmody
We came to look at an Octavia for sale and fortunately we had Ian Coe helping us. We have researched the Skoda brand for many year, and were previous owners of a Yeti we bought in Chichester. Unfortunately the Yeti was too small for our needs but we did like the brand. The sales experience in Chichester wasn't good so we were concerned about buying from a Skoda dealer. Ian told us he drives a Skoda and help reassure me about the automatic DSG transmission, as I'm used to gears. He showed us fully around the car, even though it was snowing, and then gave us detailed instructions of where to do our test drive (as we didn't know the area). It wasn't a difficult decision that this was the right car and at no point did Ian 'hard' sell anything. He was open and honest about our purchase. We also enjoyed the free hot chocolate whilst doing the documentation! He is attending to a few areas of the car we highlighted (cosmetic) and ensuring its all valeted etc. We experienced excellent customer service from Ian and we're looking forward to picking our new car up next weekend.
