Today I tried to set up Octopus Intelligent Go EV charging - their cheapest overnight tariff. Basically you cannot do it any longer - this is the email i received from Skoda 'Regrettably, we would like to inform you that the integration of third-party energy apps within the MyŠkoda app is no longer possible' Yet another reason why I won't be buying another EV from Skoda ... along with the rubbish dealers & poor customer service
Spent almost £14,000 on a Skoda Fabia with Yeoman's Helston. Within just over two months, it broke down and we had to get AA Recovery. Within the next week or two, further faults developed and the car had to go in for repair. I mentioned to Skoda that the two front tyres were fairly worn, and was told by Alistair, the salesman, "they're good for another 20,000 miles yet". New tyres don't even do that much, so he lied. However, when Skoda did their fault report, they recommended that the tyres be replaced - but refused to pay for them, even though I only bought the car from them 2.5 months ago. When I complained, I was shouted at over the phone!(I did shout back!) Avoid like the plague!!!
I want to address my recent experience with your customer service and staff. Initially, everything was great until I purchased a vehicle. About 11 months after buying the vehicle, I scheduled an inspection, MOT, and service for March 25, 2024. However, on the evening when I left the dealer, I noticed that the start-stop function wasn't working properly. Later, the car wouldn't start because the battery had died. The battery indicator showed that it needed to be replaced, and it seems this wasn't checked during the vehicle inspection. This caused me to be 90 minutes late for work, and I had to call for assistance.I tried to reach out to you via email, your website, and phone messages to inquire about the warranty for the battery and also about a squeaky noise from the front suspension that I noticed from day one. Gary said they could not resolve the squeak noise because the warranty would not cover it, and today I have been told the same for the battery. How great is it? However, there has been no response from your team since March 25, 2024 until today, June 11, 2024, when I decided to visit your shop.Furthermore, I had expressed interest in purchasing an Audi from you and selling my Skoda back to you, but I am still waiting for a response from Oscar. At this point, I am no longer interested in buying the Advance Audi from you anymore. Here's my question to you: why should people have to return to you to buy vehicles or use your workshop if you let customers down? What rating should I give to your service?
I purchased my second Skoda in October 2023. I went onto Skoda finance site to check everything was on there but there was only evidence of my old car which was bought in 2019 and all finance paid. Since then, which is now 6 months after the purchase of my second vehicle, there is still only evidence of my first purchase. After several phone calls over 6 months trying to find out why my recent vehicle details are not on there I have still not had a valid reason why it’s gone wrong. Today I’ve still got no details of my new car. SO A COMPLAINTS PROCEDURE IS GOING THROUGH.NOT HAPPY WITH THEIR SHODDY TREATMENT OF ME AS A LOYAL CUSTOMER
We went to pick up my new skoda karoq on 1 May 2024 from Richmond skoda Southampton Taylor Rogers who was the sale executive looking after us was outstanding .Taylor made us feel so welcome and relaxed. He also made sure we understand everything and listen to us . The staff are Richmond skoda Southampton were very friendly to . I would highly recommend Richmond skoda Southampton
