Review Time
Bought a set of Method 360’s for $129. After a couple of months L earbud stopped working. Filed warranty claim online and paid $28 to have them shipped back for repair. They sent me a code for $100 to buy a new pair. So to buy another identical pair i have to pay $29 extra plus taxes and shipping. So a $129 set of headphones has now cost $200. Rip off. I will never buy from skullcandy again and will let everyone know buyer beware
To start with I like Skullcandy Headphones, I've had many over the years, My problem is with my recent experience. Back around 10/12/2025 my Method 360 fell apart in my ear. The glue failed holding it together. Accidents happen. I talked to customer service was told to ship them back to them. After a week i was given a rebate for $100 when they now cost $130. Customer service was great and changed the rebate to the $130 with free shipping so i wasn't out of pocket. This is when the issues started. I placed an order on 10/22/25 for a replacement. I waited and waited until 11/4 when i was finally told after talking with customer service a few times that my order had mysteriously been canceled and no one knew why. Bummer. I was given a new discount code and told just to order it again. Placed a new order that same day 11/4 and waited, checked with customer service a few times and was told it was still coming. Until finally on 11/19 they admitted that mysteriously this 2nd order had been cancelled again. I was given a 3rd code and told to just order it again. When I asked if i could get any assurances that the order would actually be completed or expedited for the inconvenience I was told to allow 4-5 days for processing and that was it. I would have liked to just send this in an email but the only way I could find other then the online chat to talk to skullcandy is by leaving a review. Like i started with I like Skullcandy but this whole experience has definitely frustrated meUpdate.After posting this I was emailed by customer service and they both apologized and let me know that my newest order has shipped and provided a tracking number.
Skullcandy earbuds and headphones are top notch and I have purchased various models from the company for many years now. However, their customer service is notably the best that I have experienced in comparison to other electronic product providers. Overall, I am very satisfied with their devices and service!
