Dishonesty at its bestRecently I had cancelled my sky tv and broadband. Then after some months I receive letter to come back with offer of £11. So finally after moving home I want to come back because I felt the offer was great.I chat with customer service named saurav and he gives me a better deal of hd channels for one pound extra which is altogether £11 + £1 =12. I mentioned him I have old router and the sky box, he replied perfect. Then he directly rushes up down to confirmation of my contract. He said That he’ll reinstate my sky account to the previous adress and then I have to call the home moving team to arrange an engineer.He mentioned me all the upgrades but not even once mentioned me that I’m not getting any broadband with that however there were two previous chats which got disconnected where I had mentioned broadband and tv.Then after signing up and calling the Home moving team which was a waste of another day. I was shocked to know how cleverly and may be legally they cheated me. So I cancelled the account straight away and they charged me £13.24 for that. I will recommend all the customers to not to speak on the phone instead chat with them and get a transcript of the chat. And please mention each and every thing as they are well trained and clever to cheat you.
It is impossible to downgrade the package on line, you have to phone customer services and wait a life time on hold only to be quizzed why you want to download. I'm the one who is paying so its my choice.This is enough to put anyone off ever upgrading again.
Wanted to give a big fat zero but not available.Sky is out of control and cannot provide the same quality and speed for broadband that Virgin Media can.After 6 months of constant issues with Sky's weak broadband I was told they were unable to do anything about it. Given that I have been a customer for over 10 years, this pathetic level of customer care led to me closing my account.I was then charged over £109 for no reason and then had the inconvenience of started the long process of getting my money back. I was threatened with debt collection agencies, sent more and more bills, even though Sky had confirmed on numerous occasions that the account was clear and that it had been closed. They are out of control, with a right bunch of idiots at the helm. Do yourself a favour and give Virgin a go. For the same price as Sky, I now have more channels, loads of Sport, great fibre meaning the broadband is quick and reliable.
The SKY HD boxes are rubbish. I've had 3 in the last 6 months and am waiting for them to come and install a 4th. Also their service is very poor I've been waiting now for almost 2 weeks to come and fix my problem.Avoid them if possible. Can.t believe what's happed today. First they contacted me this morning, pleased to tell me that my appointment was being brought forwards to tomorrow morning. Later this was changed to tomorrow afternoon when I will be out. Took me ages to contact them by email and then they told me they would get me an appointment in the next 2 weeks. Thus taking my wait for service up to a months.As I said before. "Avoid these idiots".
