Matt and the thin glasses

Matt was very helpful and somewhat patient as we worked through the issue with the thinnest lenses (blurring in edges).He explained to me that this can be an issue with thinner lenses, so downgrades me to the slightly thicker lenses. Now I can use my new glasses and £40 richer from the refund.All the staff are friendly and welcoming there, making it painless and pleasant

I was treated very well

I was treated very well, my eyes were tested thoroughly and I feel that any problems would have been detected at an early stage and I was reassured that treatment would be available if I needed it. Lovely helpful staff.

AVOID if you're vulnerable

Pinner store: Broke the Consumer Protection Act 1987 Article 20. Their glasses have labels advertising one price and they tell you to pay a higher one when you've finished doing everything. Reason: They didn't change the labels two days ago when they were meant to and the law doesn't matter according to one of them because she'd made another customer pay before me! I know my rights and advised them that I am a vulnerable adult. Doesn't matter! "you pay £30, yeah?" Nope But I logged a complaint, because my vulnerable status is protected by law and the pricing of items in retail DOES matter! Misleading customers is not according to the law and trying to force people to pay what they say a price is not quite the standard I think the company wants to show.

Delayed glasses.

Appointment was OK. Cost was astronomically expected and just recieved a call to tell me glasses now won't be despatched until 18th! Apologies if there any typos, can't see the screen or keyboard to type properly. Really not very happy as now have to take more time out of my busy work schedule to collect my new glasses when they arrive. Afterservice doesn't seem too good right now.

My wife & I travelled 90 miles to get…

My wife & I travelled 90 miles to get our eyes checked. The main reason was that my wife's disc cupping needed a review. She had her retina photographed & her visual fields checked but halfway through this test the technician went off for a lunch break and the test was invalid. However we were told that when we got home. So we have to make the 3 hour round trip to be retested. Also the glasses we paid for and paid for delivery have not arrived. Pretty amateurish. Vision express next time.

Seamless from booking to collection

Excellent as always. Every person I came into contact with made me feel at ease and welcomed. All very friendly and not pushy sales. Everything explained very well and options offered with own decisions respected. I would always recommend the Wolverhampton branch. Such wonderful staff and experience. Very, very helpful and seamless from booking to collection.

Eye test was well done, professionally conducted, though I didn't love how public, busy and cramped it felt.I'm a bit miffed that one pair of my glasses hasn't arrived, and they wasted my time making me come back a second time because they seemed to have no record.
