We visited Bromsgrove branch to check out replacing our previously stolen Rav 4 , was originally looking for a replacement Rav 4 , but we wasn’t happy with the ones available . The salesman Elvis Norford , made our experience a very positive one , and introduced us to the new CHR , which we decided to have after a good deal . Elvis was very responsive to my daily e mails & on collection of the new car , made it a great experience , pulling out all of the stops . Thank you again , we love our new car so far , but I have him on speed dial if we have any problems . Thank you again
ST Ives Cambridge. I had the best experience purchasing my latest second hand car from them. Nothing was too much trouble for the sales team Especially Erin, she was am absolute breath of fresh air, she really helped making my purchase a smooth and effortless procedure. Her professionalism and keenness to please was very welcome and she was always happy to go the extra mile to make me happy with my car. John the sales manager also helped us out to reassure us that any future issues would be taken care of by Steven Eagle at St Ives. I really welcomed the service given by their sales...top marks Erin, and John...cheers,
Asked to the dealership on the pretence of a finance review which was then a guise to sell me a new car. Then comes the pressure sell with what I would describe as insulting offer of full list price and a well below market offer. I left watching two salesmen standing over a customer pressure selling. I will never be there again. And to help me on my way, they had cut the grass on the dealership and left all the debris up the side of my car.
Well you don't expect to wait over 5 weeks for V5C on a used car from a main dealer quick enough to take your money .Having to chase them daily now .The advise I got was oh the guy who sold you the car has left. Well sorry but not excuses that paperwork should have been picked up and still sent to the DVLA. Contacted the DVLA they advised that they had not received anything from Steven Eagell milton keynes and that at present I was not the legal keeper of the vehicle.Shocking service and due to Steven Eagell having no competition in the area I have little no chance of using anyone else when it comes to service. Also had my car breakdown twice in the last month with battery issues just avoid using them if you can service department completely useless They wanted to change the battery without checking it 1st without any tests on the vehicle. I no have no confidence the garage or the management of the site Better news got my V5C today obviously rattled the right cadge and if they improve then alkaline well and good
Contacted Steven Eagell Colchester regarding a car I was interested in on their website & wanted to book a test drive. Was advised to pay a 'fully refundable' holding deposit of £99 to ensure the car would be on site the next day.I visited the following day & test drove the car, which I thought was well overpriced for the particular vehicle & the price offered for my part exchange was a little insulting. That was after the usual 'Oh, I will speak to the boss' nonsense from the salesperson before disappearing for 10 minutes & then returning to say we may be able to pay a little more for the part exchange. Can't believe dealers still do this by the way. They go away & chat about anything but the price...it is a very tired & boring game which I have seen time & time again.Needless to say, but I decided not to purchase the vehicle & was told my £99 would be returned...but nothing!I have had several emails ignored, so I contacted Steven Eagell by phone again. The salesperson I dealt with was not available apparently, but I was told that the money would be returned, but has to go 'through a process' that typically takes 10 working days! Took 10 seconds to take my money, but 10 days to pay back, though even that remains to be seen. I was not made aware of that or I would never have paid it in the first place. This is 2025 & money can be transferred in seconds, but not with this dealer apparently. Should I ever look to be buying a car in the future, I shall be sure to give Steven Eagell Colchester a very, very wide berth!
This awful company contains some decent people who have to man the lines BUT......Toyota used to have accessible showrooms that could be contacted for service calls etc, but this outfit direct everything to Milton Keynes and make it quite clear that the customer is always wrong. It's really a bit like crap service levels in the 1960s and 70s but on steroids.I would recommend buying your Toyota elsewhere but you might want to consider if this the future for all Toyota agents and find another brand that knows how to treat customers properly. You can guess my future plans.
I got a car from Steven Eagell Toyota, St Albans. Everything about their service reeked of dishonesty. I was told that I will get the car within 3 working days, which got delayed by 10 days. They kept on sending me faulty invoices with wrong delivery dates, service and MOT expiry dates and mileage. I had to be very persistent to get the correct dates. They registered my Toyota finance with the wrong mileage. I only came to know when they gave me MOT, which had the correct mileage. The discrepancy was more than 1,200 miles! I told about my experience and the mileage issue. The manager suggested that I let go of the mileage issue, since if I decide to rectify it, my credit score will be impacted. This means, I get punished for their dishonesty.
I had a terrible experience with Toyota Steven Eagell in Romford. They submitted not one, but two finance applications on my behalf—the second without my knowledge or consent. To make matters worse, they input incorrect information, despite knowing I only have an EU driving licence. They worked with an incompetent broker (who, unsurprisingly, has a string of bad reviews) and allowed over 20 hard credit checks to be run on my report—this has completely ruined my credit score. Their lack of knowledge and professionalism is shocking. I was originally advised that I could apply for PCP finance on a 17-plate car, only to find out later that EU licence holders can only finance cars from 2021 or newer. This dealership has shown a complete disregard for proper procedure, accuracy, and customer care. I would strongly advise avoiding them if you value your financial wellbeing.
