Avoid Steven Eagell Watford by all cost and spend your hard earn money somewhere else who actually do care for the client. After purchasing our 3rd brand new car from Watford branch, we found out the car was faulty. Rain water was coming through from the ceiling of the car and all electronics and monitor of the car was effected by the rain water. And simply wasn’t safe to drive. After taking our car to the branch - they kept the car - for 8 months (and still going) - to get it fixed, even though the car was faulty from manufacturer and we requested a change. However, we have been ignored and they keep saying we are trying to fix your car which is ridiculous as we haven’t been able to drive our brand new car for 8 months!!! In this case would have been better off with second hand car as we didn’t drive the big chunk of the first year of the brand new car!!! Isn’t valid points???? Also, Note that we have been paying the full finance cost as well as insurance and the road tax for the car that we haven’t been able to drive!! So far, all of our communication been ignored including head office and Watford branch and continue getting ignored… many emails sent to many parties including the feedback email and yet again been ignored!! What a shame…
My car experienced an unexpected battery failure yesterday and I reached out to the company for assistance as a customer. I was assigned to a lovely lady Naomi in the Northampton branch. She took her time to explain things to me and promised to do all she can to sort it out for me. She gave me a call this morning that my car is sorted out under warranty and ready for collection. Thank you Naomi, you are such an amazing personality & your customer service is top notch! Now my family can enjoy our planned trip this weekend.
I took my Corolla to the Watford branch to have something checked if it was covered under warranty. They truly went the extra mile, I won't go into specifics but I would thoroughly recommend. I can't remember the name of the gentleman who was dealing with my case (blond hair and a beard) but I would very much like to pass him and the team my gratitude. I live less than a mile from a Jemca dealership but I will go out of my way to have servicing at Stephen Eagell again.
Took my yaris for its service and first mot to the kings lynn branch yesterday and picked it up 2day and again great service and the valet they gave my car brought it back to show room condition again and looks brand new!!! I always keep it clean and look after it but so so pleased with how it looks now!! Thanks
Chelmsford branch. Be warned! Don’t expect honesty, they will hide issues on used cars they sell then you'll be left with problems they will not resolve!! They give car dealers a bad name. They are not worthy of using the Toyota or Lexus brand.
Purchased a new car and have one from a couple years ago since Eagell have taken over nothing gets done 9 months waiting for a replacement part from new and a failed part is not part of the warranty on the old car so what’s the point of a 10 year warranty if they use the excuse that you actually used the car basically to reject any claims. If I could put a minus I would, been told that the 10 year warranty is no good as we used the car . So why sell me a car with a 10 year warranty .
Katie was great. I called up for a print out of service history, waited 10 minutes and then Katie came out and gave it to me. The receptionist was lovely and very welcoming and also advised me my issue will be resolved quickly. The showroom looks great after the refurbishment.
Very disappointed with the after service following the purchase of a 3 year old Toyota yaris (Mk4) from Steven Eagell Tamworth Toyota. After having an issue with the battery which kept going flat and according to Toyotas UK site is under warranty for 10 years. I was restarted by the AA on 2 different occasions and told to drive 20 miles to my local Toyota dealership. On arrival they ran tests and said the battery was fine. Of course it's just driven 20 miles...the fault happened again and again I got the same response. When I questioned Tamworth they just told me to buy a solar charger and be carful not to void the warranty. I eventually got them to replace the battery, they call it goodwill...it was not. The manager at Tamworth did not care about the after sales and there phone manor was awful and a so what attitude and even when I saw the car for the first time I felt more of a pain and training tool than a valued customer. The car was damaged on the wheels and wing.mirror (A mot failure). I won't touch Steven Eagell ever and I recommend you don't. There are better and now cheaper hybrids out there.
