Review Time
I have used this company for my service and MOT for several years but in the last 2-3 years have had constant issues - prices changing, being charged £150 for the 'free' visual safety check and having to fight to get it refunded etc. This year they advised over £2k of urgent work needed before I could MOT and another £1k strongly advised. I took the car elsewhere to be MOT'd and it passed first time with absolutely no issues. I love Toyotas and have driven them for the past 25 years but am now selling my Toyota so that I never have to deal with them again. I have no idea how much unnecessary work I may have paid for in the past.Their sales side are no better. They have flat out lied to me about a phone call that never happened and then ignored me when I sent them a screenshot proving no call received. I would avoid Steven Eagell Toyota at all costs. They are expensive to know.
Twice now I have gone to Steven eagle in Letchworth to have my car serviced. And on both occasions they have not bothered to repair the item I asked to have fixed. The latest was to have a replacement screw put in the engine sump plate which had come out. When I got the car back the member of staff didn’t even want to look under the car saying it looked alright. It wasn’t until I used my phone to video to issue she agreed that the work hadn’t even been done. In addition was charged for the window fluid to be refilled and when I looked it clearly hadn’t been refilled. This makes me think if they even serviced the vehicle as I have no way of checking if the oil filter was replaced or the oil
I booked for my hybrid car service from Steven Eagell Toyota Cambridge and requested for a loan car for any chance if they can provide me for that day. The service team rebooked me for another day without asking me and only send me an email wich I wasn’t aware about it. When I came for service they told me ‘you are not booked for today’. Such a worse dealer for the after sale service. Such careless and unco-ordinated, in organised team for the business..!! Very very bad experience a few times after the purchase.!
I bought a second hand Yaris cross with only 10,000 miles back in October 2023. The sales manager was not professional at all, with mis- communications from the beginning to the end of the purchasing process. She fooled me selling the car only with one fob and two metal blades. She ensured me that the metal blade could be used as the spare key. I realised that this was totally untrue when I lost my car key. Of course Steven Eagell did not want to hear from me when I needed help. My local Toyota dealer said I had to change the ECU to have a new key, which would cost over £3K. I sorted out the issue contacting a professional locksmith. I ended up being a month without a car. Then I tried to seek the second (spare) fob from Steven Eagell as it is unconceivable that a dealer sells a car providing only one key. We arranged a date on September 4th 2024 with Aftab to receive the second key fob. I arrived on time as per the appointment. After waiting for 1 hour and 20 minutes, I left as they kept making excuses not to meet me. I felt fooled again by these unprofessional people. I wonder how Toyota can trust these thieves to run a business. Please avoid them, I really regret buying a car from them!!
An excellent service from Cambridge.It started with the phone call alerting me to the collection of my Toyota yaris within 20 minutes: Ian, the driver, was with me, as promised, at 9am.I then was able to track the progress of my MOT via the video I watched, talking me through each aspect as they were checked.I received a call from Milena Kordaszewska, the Service Advisor who was looking after me , telling me that the service had been completed, and that my car was now being valeted, and would be returned to me shortly. Milena was friendly, professional and competent throughout our phone contacts.Ian returned my car before 12 noon, and was equally friendly and professional. I felt that I, and my car, had been in very safe hands throughout.
I bought a car from Steven eagle Toyota Northampton. I realised a button was missing they told me it will delivered to me with in a week but it never been delivered 10 month now on I wanted to pay my finance early I have told there will be £3770 fee for early payment which is shocking. You charge interest per annum not for whole 5 year.
