Very disappointed with the after service following the purchase of a second hand Audi from Steven Eagell Rayleigh Toyota. After having an issue with the vehicle, which was supposed to be under warranty, I was directed to Audi. After paying Audi to run the diagnostics there was no record of my warranty. Toyota couldn’t provide me the warranty reference and said they could now do there own diagnostics (previously they couldn’t) and after a number of phone exchanges I was told they were waiting for approval and never heard back. Having previously managed a large company fleet I am very disappointed and will never use them again.
Toyota Steven eegel is The worst and if I can give them 0 star I would have done it. I would recommend everyone not to bring your car for a service this dealer they take the money and they don’t do the job they are supposed to do and if you call them for a question they hang on the phone on you very bad service.
Sold us an accident damaged car and offered us a trade in price to return it! Buyers beware. 3 year old Lexus NX was bought with accident damage which was logged on a mot just after its first mot. So the mot history shows its first mot followed a couple of months later by a major dangerous fail. It failed due to front end damage which they repaired and sold to us without telling us. It may not have been through the insurance but it is clearly logged on the mot. They bought the car the day before the mot. Tried to make light of it all saying it was just very small issue yet it was bad enough to fail an mot it didn’t need at the time, clearly mot’d to see what further damage it may have had. Asked for the car to be returned and money back but only offered the trade price which is nearly £6000 less than we paid. This is an insult and shows what they think of their customers.told it is because the car market has dropped and cars are not worth what they were last year as they were over inflated… Basically monopolising on selling us a car that was supposed to be up to Lexus standard. Stick with a car I will either have to keep which may not be possible or sell at a loss due to the mot history…
My Salesman Adam was great. Although there was some delays to my Toyota Hilux being ready, Adam provided a great service. He kept me informed about progress and made sure I was satisfied with everything before I left. He then arranged for snagging items to be fixed in a timely manner and dropped and collected me from work so these could be fixed with no inconvenience to myself. Adam knew his 'car/truck' knowledge and always gave me his time to talk things through in detail. I would recommend seeking him out when you want to purchase a new car/truck. Thanks Adam :).
Fraud and manipulative sales team at Steven Eagle Toyota Northampton. I called the branch to look at used Toyota car and sales person "Shahjahan" pushed me to pay £100 deposit to reserve the car, We went and looked at the car and it wasn't in good condition as promised over the phone. My deposit was suppose to be returned, It is now 7 months and I also visited branch and no sign of money. Stay away from the fraud dealerships, never pay them deposit.
Car was not cleaned outside, no second key (still waiting for a battery for it), no warranty, no reply to my written complaint, bill of sale late in receiving, bank details needed (given when bought the car)two items needed for insurance at different times, otherwise the car could not be delivered. Customer service NIL
A simple service turned nightmare! Even after reaching out to Head Office, I never heard a word from them! Only after pursuing legal action was anyone then bothered to consider providing a mildly sufficient plan.My car went in for its annual service and was returned to me with not only parts of the service missed by a so called mechanic named Hamza, but in the condition you'd find a scrap car to be in: dented, scuffed, scratched all around! After a lot of fun & games, with several failed attempts to repair my vehicle, it is safe to say I shall never use Tamworth again!Best advice I can give someone: Look elsewhere, you won't regret it!
I am horrified with the awful service that I received from Steven Eagell Crawley and their refusal to return my holding deposit. I called to ask to view a car and was told that I needed to pay £250 in order to move the car to the Crawley branch for me to view and that it would be fully refundable. I had wanted to buy the car but had reservations as there were some issues with the car, they offered to sort the problems and called me days later to say that the issues had been sorted. I went down to complete my purchase butI sadly decided I no longer wished to go ahead with the purchase and Dan offered to take the car to the body shop to look at my issues. I declined saying that I had lost trust in the company as I feel this should have been noticed and addressed before I arrived to complete my purchase. I then felt pressured in to completing the purchase but I said that I did not want to. I was then informed by Dan that I would no longer be getting my holding deposit back as it would now be taken in payment for the refurbishment of the wheels. I pointed out that the wheel refurbishment had been offered by him and that I had not at any point been informed that it meant that I could not have my holding deposit back should I change my mind. I left the showroom after at least 20 minutes of Dan trying to get me to go ahead with the purchase and Dan said that he would call me the next day in the evening as he would have to ask if he could return my deposit. He did not call. I emailed Gregory, the salesman that I had originally spoken to to ask that he pass on my email to Dan asking him to reply with an update. He did not.I called the showroom on Saturday morning and waited to speak to Dan but he could not be located so I asked that that return my call. He did not.I drove down to the showroom now upset that my endeavours to contact the salesmen to sort this out had been fruitless. The salesman spoke over me every time I spoke and said that I would not be getting my deposit back unless I sat down. I asked when my holding deposit had become unreturnable as it was at odds with the information on the company website.V insisted that he had 'done this many many times' and that I am not legally entitled to my holding deposit back, it was my fault and it was in the T's and C's.After seeking legal advice, I have now received my £250 back accordingly with my consumer rights.UPDATEDespite my responding with an email to the reply to my original complaint, not surprisingly, I have heard nothing from this company
I purchade used car from toyota Horsham in November! Car was running fine until last month , and now making some issue with RPM and engine making some noise. Yesterday I went to drop off my car for service as It comes under one year warranty. I said them that I will explaim the problem in detail but they said no we will check it completely and will make it ! They did not provide me loan car due to insurance issues with my new driving license. Well Today I got a call and they said they can not see any issue with my car. I said thats why I was saying that I should explain it while I am at showroom. Now we have decided that I will again go to Horsham after travelling for 2 hours on Monday and will explain problem again :(
