Why the Sustainable Change Plan

Why the Sustainable Change Plan – For me I knew there was going to come a time when I would accept that doing nothing was where I would stay and that would make me unhappy as I gallop towards being 60 and the next 20 years of my life. I came across Alex on my Facebook page and despite thinking oh here is another plan that won’t work for me I listened to what he was saying and did my research on his website and case studies. The thing that struck a cord with me so strongly was Alex’s enthusiasm for the clients that he had already helped.Having gone through the menopause and realising that nothing I did worked or sustained the way I wanted to be I was astounded by the amount of women in my age bracket and similar circumstances that were getting results. I have believed for a long time that the gym routines and fad diets are not sustainable and that when you reach a certain time in your life as a woman you need something that aligns with you, respects and understands your hormones and is not built on the eat less move more mentality because that is not the case. One size does not fit all and male centred workouts are not appropriate. Here was an option to join a group that was built on understanding, knowledge, qualifications and more importantly for me was backed by a professional team that I had access to along with a personal coach. Where else was I going to get that level of attention and accessibility to services and knowledge. No where else that’s where! The exercise plans, the personal coach sessions, the eating plans, the live sessions can all be accessed from my home. I didn’t have to join a gym or attend sessions miles from home it is all online and I could get the results I had been longing for and the confidence to practice and make perfect in my own time at my own pace without anyone watching. For me this was a BIG WIN.So was this simple then uh no it takes time to get your head round I won’t lie but 5 weeks in I was struggling to manage everything. I wasn’t talking to my personal coach Rab or accessing what he and the team had to offer in the way of support but I did keep watching Alex’s lives and going through the reading material. This programme makes so much sense and I had access to so much information that made sense it made me want to keep going. I realised that I was only cheating myself by not accessing what was available to me and I was so certain I did not want to quit. So, I reached out to my coach admitted I was struggling and with that burden lifted and no judgement from Rab together we put the wheels back on and most things have fallen into place. I have a planned exercise routine that fits in with my life, food choices that fit in with my life, sleep routine that fits in with my life but most of all the realisation that this is a plan that I can sustain everything is achievable and I want to sustain it. My 3 whys for doing this in the first place are pain free living, being a role model for my grandchildren and living my best life without compromise and I am achieving this now. I am 1% better today than yesterday and I will be 1% better tomorrow. It is not a quick fix and it is not a fad but each day I am building on the foundation blocks set down by the team and both the team and I really want success for me.This programme has allowed me to unashamedly put myself first, access self-love, self-compassion and realise that I can conquer anything. I feel stronger, I walk taller and I love myself more each day. I read in one of the resources a quote which I love and I feel sums up why I continue to take this journey “Each day life will send you little windows of opportunity. Your destiny will ultimately be defined by how you respond to these windows of opportunity” Robin SharmaPutting myself first is not selfish it is necessary and if you feel like you have drained yourself by taking care of everyone else then take a look at The Sustainable Change Plan there is a way to embrace the future you and a way to be who you choose to be in your own time at your own pace. I did and I don’t regret it. What have you got to lose. More importantly what could you actually WIN.

I’ve watched some of the sustainable…

I’ve watched some of the sustainable change videos on you tube which prompted me to contact the company. I can’t afford to pay for 1 to 1 training but I was sent a free course to get me started. I’m still working my way through the videos but It’s full of helpful advice and information on how to make changes and improve your mindset. I’m very grateful for the free content and I’m looking forward to implementing some changes to help improve my health and fitness.

Thank you, I feel finally, I have someone that will make a sustainable difference to my life

I am extremely impressed with the attention to detail that Sustainable change have supplied to me. I feel that finally, there might be a light at the end of a long, long tunnel of unhealthy eating patterns and low self-esteem. I carry my "hacks" worksheet around with me, inside my journal, and refer to it frequently throughout the day. Alex has a no-nonsense approach to what is a lifestyle change, rather than a diet. I enjoy the video content that helps motivate me with exercise and menu planning. Working through the mastery course digs deep into the psychological reasons for our relationship with food.Thank you Alex and your team, I feel this is going to make an impact on my health and well-being, physically and emotionally and a sustainable change, not just a few weeks of restrictions.

Excellent lifestyle change.

PLEASE READ UPDATE.I'm so grateful to have been given the metabolic Mastery Course free. There are many helpful videos by Alex Neilan as well as a support group. I'm working my way through the course and at week 4 have lost 3kg. I've not felt hungry or craved sweet things which is my downfall.I have cut out alcohol but wasn't a big drinker anyway. At our granddaughter's 21st which was cocktails and tapas I did drink and have tapas. I gained 1lb which I lost within 4 days. I am hoping I will be allocated a coach soon.I would highly recommend this lifestyle. I wouldn't call it a diet at all. Check out Alex Neilan Sustainable Weight Loss. I've tried them all WW, SW, Fasting, Keto etc. Alex genuinely cares about his clients. *UPDATE*After a lot of confusion about not receiving ‘Drop a dress size’ and other things posted on Sustainable weight loss group support it was brought to my attention I would have to be a PAYING client. This was not explained to me at the outset. No explanation as to why my posts were ignored and no coach allocated either. Not quite how it appeared to be.

Helping people change their habits

I contacted Sustainable change after seeing them on instagram and after chatting on text, they offered me some coaching to learn how to reduce cravings and strategies on how to eat healthier. I've only managed to get through half of the coaching due to time restraints but I feel that i am being more mindful in what I opt to eat, only time will tell if I manage to keep going. What is the most impressive is that they gave me the coaching for free, when I told them I couldn't afford their personalised program ... thank you so much

Very helpful

As I have recently been made redundant, I was not able to financially commit to the usual programme. However, Alex kindly offered me a link to a free master class which is full of useful information on diet and exercise and motivational tools.

A great set of resources to get me…

A great set of resources to get me thinking and practicing healthier ways of living so that I could not only loose weight but also setup a fitness programme which worked for my body and lifestyle. It was great to start with the free course and also to get updates and motivational stories of others working to achieve similar outcomes in their lives. Thanks so much for all of your help and support.

Not a paying client but Alex still helped!

I contacted Alex through Facebook as I am looking to lose weight. Initially, I felt sceptical. However, despite, not being able to take up a paid program, Alex still provided lots of free resources to get me on my way. He is clearly passionate about helping people and from what I've seen so far in the resources, he takes a no nonsense, pragmatic, evidence based and kind approach. I've only given him 4 stars because I've limited experience as a client.

Living the life for me ...

Previously I had lost weight and due to many reasons had gained a large amount though not all back. This couldn't continue as I was less mobile and sad. My self worth ebbed and flowed, medication and health conditions for Rheumatoid Arthritis, Fibromyalgia and sadly Diabetes were hindering, more than helping.Alex Neilan's words 'if not now then when' really hit home after I'd had a health scare and still hesitated. Then 5 months ago, I woke up one morning and knew that only I can make the change that I need. Support - yes Sustainably - yes Heard and seen for me and my needs - yesSustainable Change and the team are and have been supportive from the beginning: celebrating the win moments and being there when life can throw one of its curve balls. Along the way I have received a scholarship and a 2 for 1 to further support my Sustainable Change time.I've lost 3 .5 stones and over 100cm so far and regained a new love of myself, an open mindset, a vision of my life as it unfurls along with an excitement and enjoyment of doing things for me. That regain ripples far and wide from me and to others that cross my path. Looking for honest support, learning and sustainable changes for the next chapter? Alex, the team and Sustainable Change offer that. Choice was mine and no regrets.

Becoming a healthier and happier version of me!

I have had issues around my weight all my life and have tried many different products and groups with fleeting success. About 5 months ago I came across Alex Neilan's posts on Instagram and the Sustainable Weight Loss Support Group on Facebook. I was amazed at the transformation photos of the ladies in the group, the more mature ladies like me! Their stories were inspirational. The information available on Instagram and Facebook hit home and just over 3 months ago I got in touch with Alex and decided to become part of the Sustainable Change Community. It has been such a good experience! I have a 1-1 coach (the lovely Amy), my own meal plans, fitness plan, exercise sessions, access to talks from a myriad of professionals and live morning sessions with Alex (and these live sessions are actually available to anyone). My attitude to food has changed tremendously, I am becoming fitter and leaner as each day goes by and on top of all that, I am learning to believe in me and what I can achieve. I have now moved into the Elite Physique Platinum group and I am looking forward to carrying on my journey as I know I will succeed because of the tremendous support that is available to me.
