After coming across Alex's videos on Facebook, I started watching the lives & I found them really helpful.I joined the facebook group which is great. He then contacted me regarding the programme, but unfortunately I couldn't afford the one to one coaching, so he sent me some free content.Alex then checked in with me again to see how I was getting on, I explained I found the content really useful & he then sent me "more" free content to help me, even though i wasn't signed up to the programme. He explained to me he wanted me to succeed even though i couldn't sign up....how amazing is that!Thank you Alex, once I'd said I could afford the programme I thought that would be the end of it, but you kindly contacted me again & sent me much more information.I was an intermittant faster (18/6) for a few years on & off but it just wasn't working, I was constantly bloated & miserable whilst also going through the menopause.I started following Alex's advice through the free content & although it's only been a few weeks i already feel better even though I'm eating much more than I did with IF AND I've lost 5lb! My metabolism seems to have kick started with good healthy nutritious food.I'm very grateful & will continue to watch the lives & follow what you've sent me, I'm looking forward to working my way through the recipes you've just sent me...for free! 😊
Huge thanks to Alex and his amazing team for inviting me to be a part of EEP. My biggest WIN so far has to be self belief! Knowing that I can sustain is incredible, not only to shed excess weight but to sustain this! This is having a huge impact on my life, knowing how much better I feel in myself, but being able to do things I’ve not thought possible, eg, running with my grandsons and not feeling out of breath. The main quote that has helped me so far is 54321. This has allowed me to get on and just do what I try to avoid, eg, I don’t want to go outside and run in this wind, so by saying 54321 then go! So off I go and it removes the fear from what I’ve been avoiding to do. My achievements far outweigh any nerves I had in joining this program in that I not only am much stronger physically but emotionally too. It’s a huge supportive ‘family’ and I feel very much a part of this. By putting myself first has enabled me to keep my cup full and I can be fully available for all my family. I’m no longer too fat, too tired, but full of vigour and life. To anyone nervous about joining the team I say feel the fear and do it! You won’t regret it, it’s by far the best decision I’ve ever made.
Continued confidence in Sustainable Change I wrote a positive review in July and am happy to now write an update of my experience of working with the Sustainable Change (SC) programme for 6 months.I continue to be fully confident in the programme, having signed up for an additional 2 for 1 offer - a further 2 years for the price of 1. I feel that I have control back in my life regarding the choices I make for my health and fitness. I have led a pretty sedentary lifestyle for years but through SC and my personal coach, Jock, have motivation and guidance daily to improve my health and fitness outcomes. In 6 months I have gone from someone who can barely walk up a flight of stairs to someone who regularly exercises, walks and swims. I have control of my eating and understand more about nutrition than ever before. I have access to the whole TSD team including physiotherapist, dieticians, behaviour coaches, women's health professionals and psychologists. Due to some pain with plantar fasciitis, I have benefitted from 1 to 1 consultations with Tristan, the SC physiotherapist. I am losing weight at a sustainable rate - 18 kg since March - and my body shape has changed. Much to my delight, I have rediscovered my waist! My coach has been brilliant, knowing how to challenge me at my own pace. There's lots I feel I can't do but Jock sets me little challenges and I realise, actually, I can do this! Having someone checking in on you and validating your successes, no matter how small, is extremely rewarding.I have never stuck with diets before, always regaining any weight I had lost. This is not a diet. It's a change in lifestyle and mindset and I feel reassured that SC will be part of my life for the foreseeable future. I continue to benefit from the structure, support and guidance the team provides to keep me motivated. The morning live sessions with founder, Alex, are key to this.Justifying spending money on this programme is now a no-brainer for me. I am happier, healthier and feel that I've got my younger self back. I am not making excuses to avoid things, in fact, having newly retired, I have planned some holidays which honestly would have had me panicking six months ago. I will be doing lots of walking, plan to go swimming and will be taking my resistance bands to keep up with my exercises. Six months ago, I was constantly conscious of my weight and my lack of mobility. Instead, I am so looking forward to my trips. By spending money on SC, I am investing in my future health to live a better life. I am loving my new routines, have never felt better and so in control. My family say they are so proud of me but honestly, they can't be any more proud than I am of myself! If you are reading this and not sure about investing in your own health and fitness, may I reassure you that's how I felt. Being cautious is natural and sometimes doing something for yourself can be scary. After 6 months, I have definitely not regretted my decision to join the Sustainable Change programme. It has changed my life.
Sustainable Change have really helped me to kickstart my drive to be healthier, fitter and have more energy. I feel overwhelmed by how fantastic the resources I have been given are. It is a complete support system of eating, exercise and well-being. I’ve not mentioned yet that I’ve been given access completely FREE. There’s lots of work to do but I feel totally supported to achieve my healthy living goals.
Over the last couple of years my weight had crept up slowly until I realised I was 2 dress sizes bigger than my normal size.It left me feeling sluggish with no energy and I knew I had to do something to change it but the things I had done in the past just simply didn't seem to be working now. After seeing a post on Instagram from Alex Neilan and Sustainable Change I decided to contact them. The call offered help for more than just weight loss and it all sounded really positive but the two simple sentences that really struck home were, "It's okay to put yourself first" and "It's okay to ask for help." I had spent the last five years looking after an elderly relative and gradually having to take on more responsibility and at times left me feeling overwhelmed. It was then I knew I needed to do this for myself. If I couldn't look after myself, how could I look after anyone else?Since I started I have become more resilient and have lost almost a stone in weight. I have more energy and am enjoying exercising again. If anyone is nervous about starting I will say that the support you get from Alex and the team is amazing as well as from other people in the Facebook family. Don't be afraid to take that first step, you have everything to gain and ask yourself as I did, what will things be like in 6 months time, if you don't try?I want to live a long and healthy life, to be able to live it to the full and not to be s burden to anyone so I have to prioritise myself now to be able to do that and continue to look after my aunt.
I’m 3 weeks into the programme & although still a little overwhelmed with the process, I have already made changes in my food, my exercise & my attitudes towards become fitter, healthier & slimmer. This is not a fast fix weight loss programme, it is an honest, long term approach to not just weight loss but more importantly long term health. The approach at first feels counter intuitive and I’ve had to trust that eating the large quantity of food I’m being advised to is the way forward! But it is! I’m fitter, I’m healthier, I have more energy and as an aside I’ve lost a pound a week. My coach Andy is fantastic, always at the other end of a What’s App message to help & advise. I would thoroughly recommend the whole approach, Alex and the team, it’s worth every penny & at the age of 70 next month I can’t believe how much difference this approach is already having in my life. I had tried every diet going to lose weight and none of them worked but if you stick to their advice Sustainable Change will change your future !
My biggest win with Sustainable Change is getting my sense of self back. I did this by attending Alex live sessions, Mish’s exercise sessions and a variety of clinics. All have given me motivation and support to follow the programme. My coach, Jock, gives me daily and weekly challenges, and seeing the weekly report shows how far you’ve come. Lots to focus on, and lots of encouragement. Early June 2025 I was diagnosed with Pulmonary Embolism, blood clots in my lungs. I went from being overweight, but reasonable fit, to stuck in a chair and struggling to move. I was visiting my family 5 hours drive away from my home. It took 3 weeks of anti coagulants and total rest before I was transported home. I could not lift anything, I walked so slowly and had no energy, even sitting was uncomfortable. My independence had gone and I was grateful for the care I received. Before this I had been a regular swimmer a few times a week, I had been a keen walker, completing the coast to coast in 2022. I would canoe and paddle board. My life changed overnight. Once home rest continued. I occupied myself with reading and colouring, which focused my mind on something I enjoyed.Alex popped up on Face Book and caught my eye. I thought this programme could help me to get well and get my life back on track. I joined the programme While still resting I focused on everything that came along from my coach and live sessions. I am on week 5 of the programme. 12 weeks on from getting ill.I have started walking short distances and reading motivational books, discovering calories and healthy meal plans. Jock my coach found exercises that I could do without agrivating my lungs. He was so encouraging even though I was depressed from being unwell. He was in regular communication and has led me through a tough time, I have learned so much from his guidance and reassurance. I now feel that I am starting to see a future for myself. Gradually increasing exercises, eating healthily, and a changed mindset. I look back over my weekly wins, my Why’s and my affirmations and I am progressing in all areas of my life. To anyone considering joining the Sustainable Change programme I would encourage you to do so. It has been a life changer for me. Alex live is so full of information and encouragement. The live comments from other members really make me feel like one of the family. Sharing is the feel good factor.I have read The Miracle Morning from the reading list. By Hal Elrod. The book tells of transforming adversities into opportunities, no matter what your life is like right now. Take responsibility for actively creating the life you want. I know this is the ethos of Sustainable Change and I am so glad Alex popped up and caught my eye.My life is getting towards a good path and I know that with the Sustainable Change team and my coach Jock. I can make my life what I want it to be.
Hi All👋🏼, Well, I’d like to shout from the rooftops about this fantastic programme I am part of! Before joining the SCP, I was putting on weight steadily, a pound here, pound there, up to almost 14 stone. Clothes were very uncomfortable, limited to a few outfits. I felt sluggish and lacked motivation. At 62, I knew I didn’t want to stay like this for the foreseeable future and was getting quite depressed. In a little over 4 months, I have lost 10 kgs and I eat and drink whatever I fancy, within reason. With the SCP, emphasis is on mindful eating, a balanced diet, conscious food choices and portion control. Good hydration and protein intake, with a generous daily calorie allocation, combined with targeted exercise. I am building increased muscle and stamina, with a tailor made programme for my needs and abilities. It also stretches me and remains a healthful challenge. I have an allocated 1:1 Personal Fitness Coach, Eoin. He is so cheerful, consistently supportive, professional and gives clarity to my journey. He reminds me of my more immediate focus and my longer term goals. I can contact him for support and guidance whenever I feel the need, he is just at the end of a WhatsApp text or voicenote, with a call once a month. At the beginning Eoin set me an upper and lower body workout, which I do each, at least twice weekly. My steps through walking, are encouraged, but a manageable daily amount. For me it is 6,000 - 7,000, some days I do more, some days less, as I drive a fair bit for my work and visiting an elderly relative. I attend other ‘live’ workouts and seminars regularly, which are all included in the Sustainable Change programme. I also have an allocated 1:1 Mind Set Specialist, Jane, to work through the emotional eating and any issues that may be preventing weight loss and health improvements. In the EPP, (a group within the programme) I have access to numerous Mastermind classes, and health and well being specialists. To anyone reading this who is ‘on the fence’ I would definitely say ‘take the plunge’, ‘feel the fear and do it anyway’. It is actually not a reckless decision. It is so worth it, it can only improve your health and well being for a bright future. It is certainly good value and money well spent in my opinion. Putting myself first was a priority, because I knew something had to change or I’d sink into worse depths of despair, dramatic as it sounds. I value self care and one’s own self worth. I am unique and valued. The time is NOW! not later or tomorrow….so go get it, you’ll smash it, like I am! Thank you Alex Neilan and the Sustainable Change Programme 🌟
