Like many, I was sceptical at the start, that this was another of those promise everything and deliver nothing scams that I was going to fall foul of because I was so desperate to lose weight and find myself again. How wrong I was! This programme has even won my husband round and he’s one of the biggest sceptics I know.This isn’t just about weight loss. It’s not a jab and go or any other quick fix. You have to put the work in. You have to get moving and monitor what you eat, but along the way you’re taught valuable lessons that enable you to understand yourself better, to recognise self sabotage or naughty habits that have stopped you from achieving your goals previously. This programme is about community, having support not just from your coaches and the other members of the professional team, but from those that have or are going through it. To know that although your journey is specific to you, we are all on the same path trying to reach the same destination- a happier, healthier and lighter version of ourselves; someone that has improved confidence, strength and motivation to tackle anything that comes your way. We all may take a different length of time to get to our goals and we may take little detours along the way, but with the TSD team and Alex Neilan by your side every step of the way, the only direction you will travel in is forward and you will never look back.
Initially I was sceptical and very unsure as I had clicked the links and had responses asking me personal questions about my weight etc. this seemed weird. But after a few days and several free resources and videos I received from Alex and team I could see that they were actually trying to help me loose weight sustainably and get rid of all the bad habits I had learnt from past fad diets. I now can’t wait to get started on my new healthier life so I can take care of myself, to continue to support my family and be the healthier, energised younger feeling, fitter person I am capable of being. Incredible multidisciplinary collaboration that really worksI joined TSD after seeing it on social media. It's the most incredible group of people I have ever come across. The support you get is second to none and system works in such a way that it is actually harder to fail than it is to succeed. In 9 months I have lost 15kgs, improved my sleep, my self esteem and my confidence. I'm fitter than I was in my 20's (now mid 50's) and through the private Facebook group, I have a found a truly safe space to learn and grow with the unwavering support of not only my wonderful coach Fra, Alex Neilan aka The Sports Dietician and the many other professionals he employs to help us but also the entirety of the Inner Circle.
I do enjoy the program, there are support available and daily sessions to help you through your journey. There’s lovely recipes available and I have a brilliant Coach, Eoin McCormack.I have been able to analyse what I do around food and look after me for a change, to put myself first.My health is improving and I am getting a lot of compliments, too. I am getting my life back to enjoy life with my family and friends.
I have struggled with my weight since I was a child and was in adult sized clothing at age 11. I've tried everything from medication, jabs, all the slimming clubs. I finally opted for a gastric sleeve and lost 9 stone, however I still had more to lose and plateaued. Old habits started again. Then I found this program and Alex Neilan - the sports dietician. Sceptical at first as I had done a similar program on line but I soon realised this was different. It's not only about losing the weight it's setting you up not to fail. The support and access to all types of specialists from nutritionists, physios, psychologists and much more is amazing. I've learnt so much in just 8 weeks and have lost 6 kilos already and with the strength training provided, inches as well. My coach Siobhra is amazing, providing constant support and making sure my form is correct, so I am getting the full benefits of the work out. Overwhelmed at first, with all the information, I quickly adapted to go at a pace I was comfortable with and the non scale wins have been so rewarding. I am already feeling more confident and less anxious, which is something I've struggled with all my life. Partly because the support from the social media group is fantastic and everyone is each other's cheerleader. This has become so much more for me than just losing weight and the best bit is, I truly believe I can do it and that it will be sustainable. I'm now looking at a much healthier and happier future and I would encourage anyone considering this to go ahead and just do it. It will be the best decision you ever make and it's time to put yourself first.
I made contact with Alex for the FAT LOSS TRAINING PROGRAMMEvia Facebook. He promptly responded & spent a good part of an hour (via messenger) getting to know me as a person & the things that are going on in my life right now - (I have had & am still going through some intense life experiences at the minute), including my eating & exercising habits and my goals & reasons for reaching out to him. Because of my circumstances he offered me the whole course which I am currently going through completely free of charge to which I am forever grateful at his kindness, understanding & support. I took a leap of faith into TSD after a life time of trying multiple different diets , I watched the free video clips on facebook and decided to give myself another chance, so happy I did this . The group is full of real women that can relate and support each other in a private inner circle group for members. There are expert coaches, psychologists and mind set coaches to help you unpick your issues with weight loss and give you support to achieve your goals . I’m so glad I signed up and I’m learning so much , my weight has levelled out and I’m able to keep it there , no more yo-yo dieting for me . This works , believe in the process and take the help .
Late at night whilst scrolling through Facebook I came across TSD (The Sports Dietitian). I have seen these adverts many times but had kept on scrolling thinking ‘oh another weight loss plan 🫤’ but this time I decided to give it a shot and clicked the button on the advert. Bearing in mind that just recently I have tried a few things, Kure weight loss hypnosis (don’t waste your money), wall Pilates (again, don’t waste your money) so I was very sceptical when I clicked. I completed my details and then received a message via messenger from Alex Neilan. What a lovely man he is. He asked me all sorts of questions about my struggles with weight loss and maintaining (not maintaining in my case). He asked about health, goals, and lots of other things. Listened when I told him about my health condition and why, now after 5-6 years of being overweight I need to do something. After conversing back and to for over an hour, because of the things I had told Alex and he understood how important the weight loss is to me now, he offered me the Metabolism Mastery Course FREE OF CHARGE! Not vastly changing what I eat but being mindful of how much, planning ahead. Ideas of what to snack on. What sort of training to do, how to start off etc. It is all very do-able and I have already started my journey and feel confident that I will succeed this time as this is a totally different way of looking at weight loss. This is not a diet plan! This is a sustainable change to reach my goals and improve my health and my fitness with the bonus of dropping a few dress sizes in the process.I am so so grateful to Alex and so so glad I clicked that link. 🥰
Alex Nielson, what a lovely guy! Talked to me and asked questions regarding, my goals, lifestyle, diet etc and really understood what I was hoping to achieve. He then went forward with suggestions tailoring my needs to the plans they offer which are very easy to follow and most importantly made me believe in myself. Alex also gave me a fabulous 'Free' and varied eating plan that is really great, I'm never hungry and look forward to my meals instead of dreading them! His YouTube channel is a must too, so much information and many helpful tips and ideas. After so many failed attempts, starting plans and exercise with all good intentions I always struggled to focus and stick with it, Alex has made me turn my attitude around, instead of thinking " I've got to do this" with a groan, I now say "I get to do this" with a smile! Give him a try, he really listens and knows what will work for you !
