Failing customer service

As a customer it can be hard to speak with a human that can help. The Customer Service at Uber Eats UK may need new leadership. There’s an overzealous use of AI with the aim of cost-cutting, which seeks to shut down any support requests as soon as possible without properly addressing concerns raised. Responses are robotic, templated and repetitive. There is a telephone number but it’s answered by an automated bot and no matter which of its options you select, it directs you to the AI in-app support and terminates the phone call. After filling in the form, the AI bot immediately closes the ticket without resolving the issue. I’ve deleted the app from my phone and will use other companies instead

Poor food, poor customer service.

As always customer support is none existent when you have a problem with the food or service. I get delivered food that is stone cold it was beyond inedible. So I basically paid for something I could not even eat and 0 refund.

Scammed uber one customer

I am uber one customer. I tried to order from subway now ( 28, Nov 2025) and it shows higher price for me compared to my friend who doesnt have Uber one. I want to know whats happening here. Why is there so much scam done by an established company like Uber. We both carted the same item. For me the item itself shows £8.29For my friend it shows £6.99To make it a footlong , For me :£3.70For my friend : £3Scamm scammmmm

Outrageously slow

Waited over 1.5 hours for my order. That’s not “delay” that’s complete service failure. Absolutely unacceptable for a food delivery app in a city like Amsterdam. Outrageously slow. Do not recommend. -1000/10.

Utterly Unacceptable Service – Full Refund and Compensation RequiredToday’s experience with Uber Eats and Ecco Pizza has been, without exaggeration, the most disappointing and unprofessional service I have ever received.I placed a scheduled order at 10:00 AM for delivery between 12:15–12:45 PM — scheduled being the entire point, as I had organised lunch for my team during a meeting. What arrived was an embarrassment.The first driver eventually turned up at 12:55 PM with three pizzas that were stone cold, the boxes collapsed, soggy, and completely unpresentable. He assured me that replacements were on the way, yet the app showed a new estimated arrival time of almost another full hour. At that point, the purpose of scheduling was entirely defeated.Trying to resolve this only made the situation worse. When I called the restaurant — who answered the phone as “Ecco Pizza” — the moment I mentioned there was an issue with my order, they suddenly pretended I had reached the wrong number. The level of unprofessionalism was astonishing.What followed was an endless loop of customer service interactions that left me even more frustrated. I spoke with three separate representatives, none of whom provided any meaningful help. The final one placed me on hold only to inform me that someone else would handle the case in 16–24 hours — after offering a mere £25 out of a £110 order, despite the two hours I had already wasted between phone calls and group chats. This is not what I expect from a service I pay a premium for.The entire ordeal — late delivery, cold food, misleading information, refusal of responsibility, and ineffective support — was not only inconvenient, it was deeply embarrassing given that I had relied on your service for a professional meeting. The experience was unacceptable from beginning to end, and I am left completely dissatisfied and frankly disgusted by how this was handled.I am requesting a full refund and appropriate compensation for the time wasted and the complete failure of service today. I hope that someone from Uber East sees this and starts taking action regarding their poor services.

Delivery Customer support is non existent

Customer support is non existent when there are mistakes with a delivery order, so use their service at your own risk. We had a missing portion of fries last night.Their "help" has just become canned automated responses about our account having received credit before - which was last true 2 years ago when a previous delivery had mistakes. Try to provide pictures or any other evidence they are asking for and you get nothing but same exact response back from the support chat for you efforts.Everytime I try delivery from them I'm let down within an order or 2 - so back to just collecting myself! Can't depend on them.

Avoid UBEREATS at all costs

I ordered a food delivery via "UBEREATS" for between 6pm - 6.30pm. it did not arrive , I waited patiently and at 7.45pm I was informed that my order had been cancelled because the delivery driver had run out of time..

Utterly disgraceful service from UberEats.I ordered a takeaway from Tong Kanom Thai (Harrow Rd) and waited 90 minutes, only to receive a message at 9:45pm saying the order had been cancelled. No food, no explanation, nothing.What makes it even worse is that there is no option in the app to report an issue or make a complaint. No customer service contact, no chat, no phone number — just a dead end. For a company as large (and expensive) as UberEats, the complete lack of accountability is shocking.I was left late at night with no dinner and no way to resolve it.This is absolutely unacceptable, and UberEats should be ashamed of how little it values its customers.Avoid if you actually want food or customer service.
