As an Uber Eats driver, I’ll say this straight: the app’s map system feels like it was built by someone who’s never delivered a sandwich in their life. Routes jump around, traffic awareness is weak, and half the time it sends you the long way around like it’s allergic to common sense. When you’re hustling for every minute, that kind of bad logic burns real money.And speaking of money, the pay is a coin toss on a windy day. Some days the payouts make you wonder why you even left the driveway. Base pay keeps shrinking, promotions vanish into thin air, and tips feel like they’re coming from a different world entirely. Drivers end up doing Olympic-level mental math just to figure out if a run is even worth the gas.I enjoy the flexibility, and I like the grind, but the tools they give us feel like they’re stuck in last decade while we’re out here trying to survive this one. Fix the map. Fix the pay. Drivers are carrying the whole system on our backs; the app should meet us halfway.
Oered through McDonald's app, food took over an hour from order to delivery and it's 8 minutes from the store to our door. Food arrived stone cold. Will never use again, better off driving. Talking with the support chat and they refused a refund as it arrived within a reasonable time apparently. Useless
This morning I placed an order valued £160 when it arrived I could not show any ID my passport had expired so the delivery guy took my order back to Sainsbury's I tried again with an order for £51 the order came the delivery guy was great he took photo of my passport he even contacted Uber but still Uber refused to accept my passport and the guy had to take my order back to Sainsbury's again I'm disabled and I relied on buying my shopping on line I've been with Uber a long time I'm disgusted at what they've done I'm finished with Uber now I'd advise everyone else to do the same
Literally the worse customer service ever been waiting nearly an hour to find out 10 mins from my house the driver has technical difficulties can’t someone else just pick it up?? Then driver didn’t cancel the order and asked me to only to find out from uber he had too. After a short chat with salsabeel their customer services turns out they could do nothing and ended my conversation without any kind of goodwill gesture absolute joke!!
I ordered a meal, what arrived were 4 bags of chips. I alerted the driver that it was the wrong order, and after some cursing he admitted that he mixed up the two orders and left my food at someone else's house. He retrieved the chips and left. I attempted a refund and their terrible AI chat bot customer support made a bunch of claims that the driver called my phone (he did not) and that he waited for 3 minutes for me to answer the door (he did not, i stopped him on the sidewalk less than a minute after the chips arrived), and declined a refund. Now that order is marked resolved and here I am, out my money and didn't even get the meal. Hell, i don't even have the chips that were left incorrectly. Don't use this service, they're just like every other company using AI, becoming just infinitely worse because of it.
UBEREAT ARE REAL SCAMS!. Took my money with no food delivered and refused to refund. The story as follows: I ordered from a restaurant website, which I regret as I always order through Deliveroo who are usually great and helpful when things go wrong, the delivery for that restaurant is managed by Ubereats. I wrote my correct address which is usually easy to get to. When I received the text that the driver is arriving I had a look and found in the maps he is in the wrong address around may be 10-12 mins walk from my address. I went outside the house just in case but he was not there. I tried to call him and he did not respond then I texted him and then he asked me to send him my number which I did and then he called me. He told me to come to where he is which I said no he is in the wrong address and if he can please come to the flat and I wanted to show him the directions, he started to be rude and said no you come to me and was shouting. Then he cancelled the order. I called the customer service. The first lady had a look and then she said he followed the path and he tried to contact you with no luck, which is not true, so they can not refund or redeliver, so just wasted the 33 pounds, my time and still hungry. I was unhappy but she said nothing she can offer and she hanged up the phone on me!!. I called again and the 2nd lady was a bit more respectful but still the same outcome, nothing they can do. Then I said I want to speak to the manager which I was able to with persistence, but still the outcome is the same, they will not refund me or redeliver. Wasted 3 hours of my life in nonsense and the money and no food delivered to my house. The driver actually after he probably ate my food, I texted him and he apologised in the text as he knows it was his mistake. Never again with ubereats, proper theft
Criminal prices. I order on the regular due to my work schedule. There are many issues. I recently received a $6 drink with the seal broken on the drink and was told no refund. Are u kidding me? The drink is open and I would never expect any paying customers to drink that!
I ordered food for R265 they say I cancelled while they preparing I couldn’t track my order via app I couldn’t see my order then it will say error with ur order then say no item that y I cancelled so they refuse to pay back my money
