Absolutely awful customer experience. I placed an order by mistake with a restaurant too far away and they refused to cancel my order so I called the restaurant myself three minutes after I placed it and they stopped preparing it however, Uber eats kept sending the order through and sent two drivers there over the next 90 minutes to try and pick up my order that I had already canceled. The chat person was completely unwilling to refund and same with the person over the phone who finally did agree to cancel my order. Never again! GrubHub take my money.
Got wrong order , Have submitted all the proofs after 20 mins I am getting an email that I am not eligible for refund from a guy in my email and when I ask any questions they are just sending same answers as if they are not even reading the question I asked the guy his name and he is like 'Your order is not eligible for refund'
I called bosphirous and told them that I was about to place an order with Uber eats and please no onions... they said fine... I placed the order with Uber eats.... I called the restaurant to make sure they got it... they said they did not.... I called another bosphorius that is further away and it turns out they got my order.... I immediately canceled the order on Uber eats... four minutes after I placed it.... they charged me $63.40 cancellation fee... even though I ordered the order from the original restaurant after I canceled from the second one... so I got the food and I am enjoying the food but I paid $71 for the actual food and $63.40 cancellation fee to Uber because I placed an order and canceled it four minutes later... Uber eats reason was that the food had already even started.... I called the restaurant that I canceled with and asked them this morning and they said of course we did not start the food we never even received the order from Uber eats..... so Uber eats lied to me.... I called ubereats back and spoke to a woman in the Philippines.... who told me that is their policy.... once you place an order.... if you cancel for any reason at all... you will be billed the total order price... minus delivery fee.... unbelievable... I can understand a cancellation charge $10.. even $20.... but you charge me $63.40 for a phone call.... 2 days before Thanksgiving.... shame on you Uber eats... shame on you... the last part of this is I just got out of the hospital after a hit-and-run on my motorcycle.... where I broke my jaw my wrist my arm and have a severe concussion..... and that is why I ordered Uber eats to start with yesterday....sm.h.... the worst ending is that you cannot get anyone at Uber eats headquarters so that hopefully they could have some compassion and maybe do something about this
I’m unable to give rating less than 1 star. Worst service in food delivery platforms. The drivers never deliver on time and orders gets canceled after waiting for hours and hours. It’s a boon if you get in contact with customer service. You’ll never be directed to the customer service in any way and should end up with chatbot that gives boomerang answers and takes you to the main menu page.
On Monday, November 24, I ordered from a restaurant called Full Wings at 9:14 PM. Little did I know that the restaurant that I ordered from was located at the distance of 25.9 km (Repentigny) from my address in Montreal! The same restaurant chain is also located less than 2 km away where I thought that delivery was arriving from! I have no idea why my order was accepted by a restaurant who should have seen right away that my address was too far to deliver!! Delivery drivers kept changing while I was following the tracking system on Uber eats, and one of them was very rude when I was kind enough to message him through the app, explaining that I was waiting for my order over 60 minutes! He told me that he only received my order 10 minutes earlier and it was already past 10:30 PM, and that he was 50 km away from the restaurant and blocked me right after! Needless to say, I cancelled my order and I was lucky that I’m entitled to a full reimbursement… What if I wasn’t? Uber Eats screwed up big time. P.S.: The rude driver attempted to call my cell but I did not answer and blocked his number… The nerve!!!
Didnt think it could get worse than JustEat, but these guys manage it. If there is ever a problem with your order, customer service will only deny you are eligible for any sort of refund, and copy paste stock phrases multiple times. They then end the chat within 5 seconds of no response, so you dont even have time to write your reply. No way to escalate other than via bank chargeback. This sort of dishonest dealing should be illegal, as it amounts to nothing more than fraud.
Horrible customer service. After ordering noticed the store location was incorrect. Cancelled order within 2 minutes and they refused to refund me to process a new order and make it for correct location. I called to remedy this and was told that the restaurant already made the food. I can tell you from experience when I make an online order for pick up, they don’t the food until the person arrives so this food was not made in the timeframe it took to cancel the order.
So bad customer services stolen my £27,50 recently for first time ive used to order my daughter food they was keeping changing the driver 3drivers been changed so I decided to cancelled my order and I get my refund since now nothing happened. I several tried to contact the team customer service through the Apps bloody AI robot I tried to call their number i couldn't get them on phone ive lost moneys I didn't receive the foods ive ordered never ever again order my food from them obviously degrease .
