Just got a delivery from UPS. The guy just left the parcel at the front door without knocking on the door. I had seen him from my front window and ran out to say it to him. He replied with attitude that he did knock which obviously wasn't the case as I was right beside the door.He could have at least put the parcel in the green bin to avoid it getting taken. Ridiculous carrry on and very unprofessional.
Our apartment complex receive plenty of deliveries and we are all agreed that UPS are the worst. Numerous bad experiences of saying they tried to deliver but it never actually happened. Not sure if its just this Dublin area, but its really so bad and the customer service follow up is best avoided
If I could give minus stars I would. Got UPS 3 day delivery. On Wednesday my package was "out for delivery by end of day" but there was no sign of it. On Thursday, it was "out for delivery by end of day" and I called UPS twice and was told it would be delivered by 7pm by the first agent and then when I called back the second agent said the driver would call me within an hour. I received no calls.Friday I called at 8am for an update because now my order says "the delivery date will be provided as soon as possible". I am told someone will call me back in an hour, nothing. I call again and finally get through to a manager who says he will contact the depot and get an update and let me know. Five hours later and 4 calls back to UPS, I have spent €40 on credit. The manager calls me back to tell me the depot doesn't have an update on my order but he will get back to me as soon as they do which could be today or on Monday but he doesn't know. An absolute joke of a service and company.
F**king scammers! On the day of delivery, I got an email from them to pay customs fee of 96 euros which I paid straight away. These scumbags didn’t deliver the parcel but returned it to the sender. Now when I asked for the MRN on the customs fee paid through their website, they’re not willing to do so and are delaying this by 4 weeks now and not sure when they’d respond. Revenue.ie people confirmed that customs fee will be refunded once they’re provided with either MRN of the payment or what basis UPS calculated this fee. Filthy b*st**ds! Hope UPS goes bankrupt soon
DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE IF YOU CAN AVOID! I got scammed of close to 300€. I was expecting a delivery in the 5th of January. The parcel required a signature so I planned to work from home that day to receive the parcel. On the 4th of January, while I was at work, I received an email saying that my package was delivered. I came back home, no parcel was waiting for me. I asked all my neighbours in case they received it. None of them had it. I check the site in case they left indications as to where my parcel was and I patiently waited the day after in case the email was an error and my parcel was still on the way. I filed a claim with UPS and was told they would look for it. The investigation was supposedly going to last 10 days at most. 24 days later, I haven’t received any email updating me about my claim. I had to go check on the site again where they claimed the parcel was lost. JUST LOST! Almost 300€ vanished with no « sorry », no proof that they didn’t just steal the package, no compensation, no direct massage to let me know they didn’t find it. I’m not sure what can I do but I definitely intend on filing a legal claim. This is outrageous. AVOID UPS AT ALL COSTS! all the other carriers take pictures as evidence and provide information as to where you can find your parcel when they deliver. If it requires a signature and you are not home, they will come back another day. UPS will give you a date for delivery, deliver at the wrong date, steal your package and disappear. I will never order with a company that uses UPS as a carrier. THIEVES !I have all the screenshots to prove it. It’s too bad I can’t post the evidence here.
They would not take any responsibility of the parcel that they lost They wanted to blame me and they wanted to blame the sender I said to them the sender sent the parcel you had the parcel you lost the person so either you UPS pay for the loss of the parcel not try to put it on the sender the sender sent the parcel from Australia got from Australia to Ireland got through the customs and then when I got into UPS hands it disappeared after the second sorting office and they did not want anything to do to help me They did not want to search the sorting office to see if they could find it I never came across such ignorant people in my life I will never ever use UPS again They are the worst worst worst I will keep going on to talking about the where and how ignorant they are on the phone It was I just can't get over it I just lost for words of how bad and how they do not want to help you it's it's just disgusting
Another incompetent delivery company which thinks that to leave a parcel just inside the gateway down by the road and in the pouring rain is a feature of good business practice, IT IS NOT!!! It would seem that they employ the most lazy and couldn't give a s***t type of employee. If I could give less than one star I would.
What is the point in this delivery service. I am over a month waiting for a package to arrive and the only update available to me is that it is ready for the customer to collect it????? I wasn’t even notified of this…. Absolute insult to customers. F*** off the delivery fee was paid, you have my items that are paid for and I can’t get them? Surely you should be reimbursing me the entire cost of the package if your not gonna give it to me, shocking shocking shocking service needs to be investigated
