Review Time
Absolutely useless. I ordered from Amazon UK, but instead of simply shipping to Dublin and delivering the parcel like other carriers, they sent it on a tour of their UK depots, each further away from the destination. Then it was held up in customs (according the UPS) though I've never had this issue when buying from Amazon before. Finally their tracking said it had arrived in Ireland (late) and would be delivered the following day. It didn't arrive. When I rang them they said the package hadn't arrived at the destination depot yet (contrary to their own tracking). I pointed out that it was supposed to be out for delivery and asked if I could contact the driver and they said that they don't have any direct contact with their drivers, but in the next breath offered to ask the driver to deliver to an alternate address. I still don't have the package, and they don't seem to have a clue where it is. Why Amazon use them I have no idea.
Hands down the worst courier I've dealt with in Ireland. Their customer service centre are near useless, are unable to contact or leave instructions for any depots. When my package was misdirected to the wrong depot 3 times I called to try to correct it and was told I would need to wait for it to arrive at their other depot and then call back because there was nothing they could do in the meantime. I've had a near identical experience every time I've been sent something by UPS. In future I will simply avoid anything where UPS are involved in the delivery.
The worst company I have ever seen, especially the support everything in this company is bad and the service is expensive and if they said 4 days the shipping just don't believe it and we'll be 20 days and if you asked for money back they'll say your choice not covered by money guarantee. Need big upgrades
The service is hilariously bad. Does anyone in the company speak to one another? When I see that I have a package arriving with UPS I know for certain that it will not arrive when it's supposed to, that I will have to engage with customer support, and that I will either be lied to repeatedly or else ignored or even both. I really wish they weren't a delivery option in Ireland.
Two times I was getting a missed delivery notofication, without anyone calling and I was alweays at home. Twice I called customer service, provided the number and they said they would add a note to call me. The second time the agent couldn't find any such note. At last the third day they managed to deliver the item.
AVOID at all costs. I paid for insurance and they will not pay out after my item was maliciously damaged by the courier. The insurance is completely useless and worded in a way that means they can get out of paying any claim. Company is a disgrace!
This company is a joke. Once again, the package did not reach me on time. I write to the service and they assure me that it will arrive soon and the driver does not have my phone number and the address is wrong. The package should be with me on 15.08 or maybe 21.08. I can pick up at the nearest point 80 km from my city. Drama with this company.
I ordered a Russell Hobbs iron through Amazon. UPS were the carrier, the iron was left in the pouring rain overnight just inside my front gate. The driver dishonestly stated that I had signed for the item, I didn't even know it was delivered. The box the iron came in was wet through, and some of the contents were broken.
