Ups threw my daughters apple airpods over the side gate of my home in december. I dont have any need to go to the side of my house so i found them a month later. They tried to convince me i signed for them. I rooted the house, the bins and called to the neighbours. When i phoned to inform Ups, I didnt even get an apology. There was a battery sign on the box and no note in my letterbox. I really couldnt understand why they delivery driver would just throw them over the wall.
Still waiting for a small item to be delivered which should have been here 3 days ago! Tracking had it "out for delivery" then that evening said it had only arrived in the country, then went "out for delivery" at 2am according to tracking. Tracking has nothing on it now, except "The delivery date will be provided as soon as possible". I don't see the point of tracking if it's only to mislead people.
I had to use them ,not by choice ...but it's disgraceful, you pay your Import tax with them but no reference number, you call them they'll keep you on call from one line to another and in the end you get no response.... very useless customer service....never again !!!
In the last 10 years, there has never been a package arrive on time with UPS. Only courier that there is ever an issue with. I will not buy from companies a second time who use them. There has also been a case where a friend ordered a parcel to my house and it showed on their website as signed for by him, although he was in a different country at the time. The parcel never arrived.
UPS, useless parcel service???I Got a notification from UPS telling me my parcel is on its way Wed, Thursday it was out for delivery, I kept it on my phone. all that day there was no delivery. following day Friday I get a notification telling me it's on its way...again???so a little bit of work and enquiry let's me know it left dublin Wed pm, arrived in Cork City UPS depot Thursday morning just after 12.01am. it was scanned in as a container, not a package, then the container was left unopened all day Thur and as of 2.00pm Friday is still lying unopened in Cork UPS.I contacted UPS and after the runaround of chasing contacts and speaking to a Bot I finally got to speak to someone at their "national" helpline, the number on Cork City UPS is not in service, due to misdirection? I assume. well UPS told me they had " high volumes" and that I got the out for delivery notification due to their "Protocol"....what Protocol?well there you have it, a multinational delivery service use a protocol based on vague assumptions IE: your package arrives at 12 01am .....THEREFORE...wait for it...it is " Assumed" it will be out for delivery that day...and you dear customer will be notified by UPS that it is out for delivery.I was told there was noting anyone could do, that I should "monitor" their site and track my package? a package that's lying in an unopened container to see " if it's status changes"I don't know how other delivery companies work but the word Delivery hardly stacks up for thos company and as to their repetitive statements on the phone it is everything else that is at fault...not UPSmy advice...don't use this cowboy organisation
UPS is a terrible company, and I don't think anyone should use them. The latest problem I have experienced: a parcel that was shipped from the US, and arrived in Dublin on the 30th of November, has been sitting in Finglas Dublin since that date. I have called customer support twice - once on the 6th of December, and once this morning - to enquire as to why it was running so late, and this morning I was told the parcel had gone missing.I don't understand how this company has the cheek claim they are a professional logistics company. Their website is atrocious, their customer support is horrendous and singularly unhelpful. And in the last 2 - 3 months I have had multiple parcels arrive late and / or go missing. This is a clear example of management cutting costs in the service of profits. Typical US company more interested in the bottom line rather than customer satisfaction.
This company "lost" an expensive package belonging to me. Absolute joke of a company should be ashamed of itself. I've ordered items from China, Japan, etc, with different couriers and nothing has ever been "lost". Order an expensive item in Europe via UPS and it suddenly goes missing. Joke of a company. I'll never use a retailer that uses them as their courier service again.
I have been waiting since 5th December for a delivery. I phoned at 2pm today and was advised it would arrive today by 7pm. I got an update again at 4.20pm to say it was delayed for another business day. Called at 2.22pm and advised it would arrive tomorrow 10th. Now I have a new update to say it will arrive on Monday by end of business. It’s my first experience of this incompetent company.
