Shocking, although this may sound incredibly rude, I strongly suspect they have an inability to read.I’ve had multiple issues with my vehicle, almost three months later I haven’t had anything of substance from Mercedes. They push you to the dealer, the dealer pushes you to Mercedes. You call Mercedes and email them (15+ hours on the phone) and all they can do is email a department who ignores you.Broken vehicle that is unsafe to drive, the seatbelts are a safety hazard since purchase and they don’t even have the capability to string a sentence together nevermind fix it.Honestly, their are multiple other vehicle providers, if you want German please do the right thing and go BMW
I have a breakdown and pressed the SOS button, RAC attended site and took me to the Mercedes Benz in Cheshire Oaks. The Service staff were amazing at sorting out (especially Jamie-Lee). Whilst I was there, I spoke to a member of the sales team and advised I was interested in buying another mercedes, within a few minutes I had found the right car, made a deposit and picking my new car up tomorrow. The sales team were amazing (Sam King), although he was new to the team - he was very well trained and thorough. Staff couldn't do enough to help and talked me through each process.
Sharon from service is extremely friendly and nothing is too much trouble. From the moment my car was booked until collection I was very well looked after. The cost was very reasonable and in line with high street garages. I would recommend Cheshire Oaks and will definitely return, thanks to all concerned
👎👎👎MERCEDES HUDDERSFIELD 😠Crappy dealers never buy mercede cars, full of scams the whole lot of them involved in this company. They will never give you the full information they will mislead you, worse car company to deal with they will mess you around, waste your time and honestly would not recommend anyone to buy mercedes car never. I'd rather stick to my old car which I had toyota at least that wouldn't give up on me lol 😆 full of fraudsters working at mercedes HUDDERSFIELD branch it's not a car company it's a fraud company
We have two cars both Mercedes… 1. the customer service is so bad. 2. Our A class was given to us with a cracked windscreen, scuffed bumper & passenger airbag fault, after being told to give them the weekend to sort these issues it wasn’t done on pick up so we were told to bring the car in but would then be without a car as they wouldn’t arrange a courtesy… arranged to get it fixed and the person who agreed works had left so we had to go though all of the agreements again, with rude customer service. 3. We have an EQB, we received this car at the beginning of July. It has broken down twice since, they have come out twice and said the problems fixed. We have now had to drop the car to lakeside Mercedes because it keeps breaking down. But they are saying it’s not a problem it needs an update which is due soon. So their resolve is to keep it and call them out when we break down… every time we charge the car, we breakdown. What the hell? I have 4 children, and have had to pay out for Ubers to get to places because my car is inoperable when it’s not even a month old. Is this really what you think makes people to buy cars from you. Lakeside branch is an actual joke, Mercedes in general just as bad.
I have had my C Class saloon regularly serviced, and at 57,000 miles I am told that the timing chain has worn and is loose and needs replacing. When I asked at what interval it is expected to replace the timing chain, the dealership told me that this is not a maintenance item, and the timing chain is expected to last for the lifetime of the car. So for this to happen at just 57,000 miles is clearly a defect. My local garage told me that in the garage circles, this is a "well known defect in this engine". I am being quoted a huge bill for replacing the timing chain and possibly cam shaft gears. The Dealership went thru to Mercedes Benz and asked if they would be willing to underwrite the repairs on a Goodwill basis as clearly a regularly serviced and low mileage car should not have such a defect, and Mercedes Benz has refused. If the car had done over 150,000 miles then I may have thought, fair enough, its done a lot of miles, but at only 57,000 this is quite ridiculous, surely life of a Mercedes car is more than 57,000 miles. Also I had it regularly serviced just in order to avoid such issues. I am very upset with Mercedes Benz whom I used to see as a quality brand, but clearly that is no longer the case. Therefore I have decided that I will no longer be buying a Mercedes Benz as clearly they are not standing behind the quality of their product and one cannot rely on Mercedes Benz any more.
Hakib Ahmed has been extremely helpful in what can be a relatively stressful experience in purchasing a car. His attention to the details of what I desired stood out to me along with his knowledge of the Mercedes A class range. He is extremely friendly and approachable which helped settle any nerves and cautiousness. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking to purchase a Mercedes from Leeds.
