Lack of customer service on parts enquiry

I have a 2021 GLC Hybrid. The car is amazing and the regular service is fine. However when it comes to ad hoc enquiry on parts (e.g. windscreen replacement, bumper replacement), the customer service is awful and they don’t respond despite multiple attempts for a month. I will not buy Mercedes car again.

Approved Used means NOTHING

It’s good to hear from reading these reviews there are still a few good Mercedes dealerships out there But it’s a shame they’re just a small minority.I purchased a Used Approved C220d Coupe in August 2023 From Mercedes Milton Keynes ( Sytner group ) unfortunately it broke down on the drive home.As I live nearer to Mercedes Kings Lynn that’s where the car went for repair, Nox sensor replaced under warranty, excellent service from Kings Lynn.Car always kept overnight in garage, December 2023 Dead battery wouldn’t even open the door so back into Mercedes Kings Lynn, battery replaced under Warranty again excellent service.Whilst in at Kings Lynn I received a Video safety check, all was ok except note was made that the tyres did not comply as not run flats as originally fitted. It was also noted that as non compliance tyres fitted there was no puncture repair kit supplied to the vehicle.I contacted Mercedes Milton Keynes who were very dismissive of my pointing out that not specific tyres were fitted. Following furthers calls I was informed that as far as they are concerned the tyres are legal, they then reluctantly offered to send me a repair kit, this arrived a few days later but I noted it was not new with an expiry date of APRIL 2024.Mercedes UK emailed who are currently avoiding answering my questions as to what Approved USED actually means, reading these reviews I begin to understand why.The moral of this experience is Don’t trust the term “ MERCEDES APPROVED USED “ and that the Sytner after sale customer service is non existent particularly at Milton Keynes.

Appalling service and customer handling

Mercedes Benz once upon a time was a quality company with a good product line. Now unfortunately it has the worst customer service at its dealerships particularly vertu wouldn't touch that garage ever again. Having dealt with Slough Vertu Mercedes Benz UK it has a very toxic culture and sexist attitude in the showroom. Having taken up these issue Metcedes Benz directly they have no interest in dealing with the dealerships very poor attitude which is disappointing as years ago customer service was a priority. The rot at Slough starts with the General Manager and works it way through to the sales force as a culture. As a long standing customer I most certainly will not purchase this brand of car ever again due to quality and the toxic company attitude.

Mercedes Parts Warranty

Having always worked on my own vehicles, when my Mercedes C class needed new bake discs I Purchased a Genuine set from Mercedes - fully expecting them to be the best quality available. Shortly after fitting, I started to experience brake judder so I checked for run out on the hubs and discs. No run out on the hubs, but, both discs were outside of tolerance so I contacted Mercedes to request a replacement set under warranty. Mercedes advised that I needed to get the vehicle inspected - in case I had fitted them incorrectly. This I did and the dealer agreed they had been fitted correctly, but, they then went on to say that the issue with the discs had been caused because I had had my wheels refurbished. As a result, they would not replace them under warranty. As this was an absolute nonsense ( proven by the fact that I have since fitted Aftermarket discs with the same wheels with no judder issues at all) I wrote to Mercedes Customer services. After taking weeks to investigate, they finally replied to say I had fitted them incorrectly and, therefore, would not honour the warranty. So we have gone in a complete circle with no resolution. Hardly what you expect from a premium vehicle brand selling parts at premium prices that they are not prepared to honour the warranty on. I should have googled Mercedes Brake judder BEFORE buying the discs as there are many customers out there who have had the same issue with Mercedes discs ( Fitted by Mercedes dealers) - many having had several sets fitted to try and cure the problem. Come on Mercedes, when you have an issue own up to it and fix it, don't suggest its you customers fault !

Purchased brand new SL43 on 21 of July…

Purchased brand new SL43 on 21 of July 2023 from Mercedes dealership, in 9 days nightmare started. Issues with engine, suspension and electrical issues as well, now it’s January 2024, engine flashed, suspension and electrical is still not sorted car is still at the dealership technician and he doesn’t know how to fix it. Out of 6 month my car has been at dealership for 5 months. And no one cares to help with cancellation of this purchase like it would be my fault that the car is made with multiple issues. If AMG would love to help and have your vehicle back that would be great! How can such a luxury company treat their customers this way!? Nightmare experience and still carry’s on! Case ref num with Mercedes REF - 7890831Would love to hear Mercedes opinion on this matter!

Customer service is rubbish

Customer service is rubbish. - 3 brand new cars in 3 years and still treated like crap. Takes ages to get through on the phone, constant issues. I will not be renewing or buying any new cars with Mercedes once my current lease is over.

Awful customer service at Warrington

Awful customer service at Warrington. Twice now waited over 2 hours once for new front tyres to be fitted and second time because one of the tyres was faulty. No updates, no apology just left Sat there. I’m sure Lewis Hamilton has a better experience.

Booked in for mot and was left in lounge for two hours when I enquired how much longer car was ready in 10 minutes and I was told car parked in lobby and paperwork to follow by e Mail.Did not find out I had failed until I got home as no one there mentioned it. I would seriously avoid having work done at this dealership part of Hendon group
