WHAT A SCAM!!!

What a piece of SCAM this company is running! I'd bought my ticket for an event 2 months in advance if the show. I make the payment and get a confirmed ticket with a link in my viagogo account. On the day of the event, I am denied the entry as the QR code was not recognised by the scanner. I checked with the event organiser and get to know that the ticket wasn't on my name and to my biggest surprise, there were many people who had bought their tickets via viagogo who had the same issue. I call the customer care and the agent on the other end could not do anything other than to apologise. I missed the event but never am I going to use this company ever again. Please be careful!

We bought tickets via Viagogo but the link they send us to activate the tickets was not okay. It took us days calling, chatting, emailing but they could not fix the problem. I kept getting the same advice over and over again but nothing worked. They don't take their buyers seriously. What a mess! We had so much stress from this during our Holiday. Never again am I going to buy any ticket through Viagogo. Someone said to me Viagogo? ViaNONO! That is what it is. Never again.

Don't buy @ Viagogo

Dear people who are thinking of buying a ticket via Viagogo,TLDR: Don’t buy your tickets here, buy them at Stubhub or any other platform you can trust. The Viagogo guarantee - you’ll receive valid tickets for the event - is NOT TRUE. If you want to know more, read below. Story:Remember the story of Zinedine Zidane who was chosen as the new king of Spain? That’s right, never happened. Same as the tickets we should have received for the Real Madrid - Villareal game from Viagogo. We choose Viagogo because they guarantee you’ll receive tickets. I started to have doubts after this experience about what the word guarantee means, so I looked it up: “to promise that some condition holds or will be fulfilled”. On the day of the game we should have received the tickets. Since this didn’t happen around lunchtime, I reached out for the first time and the service representative told me that the seller has till 16:00 to release the tickets. Little side step: the way it works is that you as a seller list your tickets. Once a buyer buys them, you as a seller have to go in the system again to say again you want to sell them and confirm. Sounds already logical, right? At 16:00 we didn’t receive them, where another representative told us it is now 18:00. And over the course of 2 hours and being in front of the gates of Bernabeau, this story repeated itself 3 times till it was 20:30 - 30 minutes before the game. I decided to gave them one last call. And here it comes: Viagogo wasn’t able to deliver the tickets (no s*** sherlock) and they would send me a link to select alternative tickets. When opening the link I found the following friendly message: no available tickets. Interesting, because on their website several tickets were still listed. 50% more expensive now. The agent said she couldn’t transfer other tickets because her ‘computer says no’. I had to accept the refund and go buy them myself again. No discount or whatsoever. What is working well: any other ticket seller. You visit their website, buy tickets and instantly get them in your wallet on your phone. Within 5 minutes we were in, although it came with a much higher price. This review is… in the Netherlands we say: ‘een deuk in een pakkie boter’. Which basically means in this context that this review is another 1 out of 5 stars review on top of thousands of others (so hopefully this says enough for you already), but at least I feel good that I put some effort in to warn any potential buyer for a scam.

Horrible company

Horrible company! Never ever buy anything with them! Firstly they take 75 EUR fee for 2 tickets which cost as such on their own. Secondly when the concert of Scorpions was cancelled on the 30 of September, they were sending endless emails about return of tickets first to Ireland then once we sent them to their Irish address 6 days later they write yet another automated email to send the tickets to address in Germany! Unbelievable! We still don’t have a refund and they are just lying all along! Will file a law suit against them!

I sold two tickets through viagogo

I sold two tickets through viagogo, the show was cancelled and they don’t want to return my tickets or pay the promised amount. The organizer doesn’t want to refund without receiving the original physical copy of the tickets.

They have a viagogo guarantee policy, but at what cost lmao

You could contact customer service a million times and they will promise a refund and tell you that they send your case to the escalation team. Time and time again they will tell you that they send your case to the escalation team, but it NEVER actually happens. Maybe there are people with good experiences on this website, but it's not worth the risk at allll.

Insecure before, but finally no worries

One year ago we already bought tickets for the Dutch GP F1. After reading all the negative reviews we were not confident that the tickets would be valid. 2 days before the event we received the tickets and looking to the rules of the event it seems like we couldn't use these tickets as the tickets should be uploaded in a app, so we had several times contact with Viagogo about it by e-mail and telephone (contact within a minute!). We gave it a try and fortunately we got access without any problems and had a fantastic day.

Bought last minute tickets for Dutch GP. Despite my misgivings the tickets arrived 2 minutes after purchase and the paper tickets were genuine. The handling charge was very high so watch out for that when comparing prices. The tickets were a fair price.

Ordered (on 20 July 2024) two tickets for the upcoming concert of Adel on 24 Aug from Viagogo (cause was cheaper). Received the tickets from the ticket provider (Ticket Master) one week before the event.
