Review Time
I had my wine cooler go on the fritz a few weeks ago. After 15 years, I guess it was due for some love. So, I got on their website, started chatting with a specialist. Diagnosed my issue, ordered the parts necessary and when they arrived I installed them and whalla, it worked again! However, the parts, Overheat and relay, I thought were a bit pricy at $75. The picture diagram of how to install them was suspect at best. The YouTube video was of another VinoTemp cooler, but I'm mechanically inclined enough that I was able to figure it out. What I'm glad about is that there is online help (Thank you VinoTemp Technician) and they had the parts, and I was able to repair it rather than search for a new one that would fit my budget and the space! I'm still happy about this situation and glad they still carry parts for a 15-year-old appliance!
Thank you to Vinotemp's support staff, specifically Richard, for troubleshooting my 2006 Vinotemp storage unit (15 years old), sending me a new control plan, and empowering me to fix the problem! Everything is working and my 28 bottles are nice and cool. I really appreciate that Vinotemp continues to make parts to fix older units and that the units were designed with the ability to swap out parts and keep the older units running. I am very happy with the product and the support. Thank you again!
Hands down worst Dishwasher I've ever had. It clogs SUPER easy, so you pretty much have to wash your dishes completely before you put them in this machine. We cleaned the drain often, as suggested in the manual, and made sure that dishes were completely food free before we loaded. Didn't matter. The drain pump went out within a few months of standard use - its just 2 people who live at my house, so the workload was quite minimal. The real ordeal came when I was trying to get the manufacturer to honor its warranty. When the drain pump went out, I called Vinotemp. They told me at the time that the standard process was to have a service tech come out to see if they could fix the issue first. After EIGHT WEEKS of no functioning dishwasher & Vinotemp giving me the run around, they say "we'll just send a new machine." The day before this new machine is supposed to arrive, I get a text from a 'service provider,' giving me dates that they can come out and see if they can fix the machine. I immediately call the Rep I've been dealing with & say, "wait a sec., I'm supposed to get a new machine." He THEN explains that his managers didn't like the idea of giving me a new machine without a tech coming out & that instead of a new machine, I'm going to have to go through the process of getting a service tech to come out to see if they can fix the issue. So, the tech is now supposed to come out next week (WEEK 9 of no functioning dishwasher). And I know how this is going to go - they are going to "fix" the machine, its going to break again in a few weeks, then I'm going to have to go through this process all over again. Don't. just don't. If you're just looking to burn $1200, I'll give you my address & you can send me a check.
My wonderful Vinotemp VT-60 stopped cooling so I contacted Vinotemp tech department to see if they could help me and I reached Jacob Altergott. He went above and beyond the call of duty and I am so happy that I found him. He communicated clearly and kindly, "diagnosed" the problem based upon some tests that he asked me to do. Then he identified the part I would need and some potential companies that could help with the repair.I ordered the part and, when it came, I asked Jacob if he might give me some guidance on trying to install it myself. He was wonderful and sent me links with photos and even said that, if I got stuck, he would be available to help.Every question I asked, he responded to in a timely way. He supported me through:-- figuring out what might be wrong-- ordering the correct part -- communicating with the company that might be doing the repair -- providing me with instructions on how to do it.-- responding to all of my questions/worriesThe final result was that, in less than 5 minutes, a handy friend and I had the part replaced and my wonderful Vinotemp working again!This is the kind of CUSTOMER SERVICE that I hope for when I make a purchase from a reputable company. Based upon the support that I received from Jacob (over a period of 3+ weeks), I would not hesitate to do business with this company again and recommend them to friends. BTW, I have loved my Vinotemp so having it work again is super wonderful and none of my wines went "bad". LOLThank you Jacob and Vinotemp! Good hiring job Vinotemp!!!
I purchased the parts from this company being done everything is electronica nowadays the young woman that I spoke to on the phone just told me to sign on a direct line now yes I am at fault for not reading everything but she told me that the only way I could put the order was by signing now of course I got the wrong part and they’re telling me that unless I get something else I cannot get a refund so I’m stuck with a 300 and some dollars worth of nothing I believe this is not right taking advantage especially someone like myself that is a senior citizen be aware
You have an employee Trevor Bauer who was very helpful beyond what most people would done. I do not own one if your products but a dear friend did. She passed away in February. She has owned your product about 20 yrs. The attorney asked me to get pricing and that is how I got to talk to Trevor. He is number ONE in my eyes and definitely a Vinotemp keeper. 10 out of ten.
These guys are very knowledgeable of their product and talk you through the necessary service with parts to keep their product in tip top shape. They sent several how to videos and with parts received, I'm back in business with my latest assembly project.I own several Vino-temp wine coolers and they all work quit flawlessly. Very dependable product. Highly recomend
18 minutes on the phone to find out when an item would be in stock, tried first the chat and they kept telling me to wait. I think the person there is not really working. 18 minutes and he kept telling me “yes, I’m still looking” Right! Imagine if you buy something and it doesn’t work? Is that the costumer servise you are getting? No thanks!
