If it was possible to give -1000 star review, I'd do it. I booked a flight for March 2020, which was cancelled due to COVID19. Volagratis didn't reimburse my flight but offered a voucher that I only got IN OCTOBER. I used it to purchase a flight Milan-Catania in December, paying another €50 on top of the €160 voucher I got for the flexible option, so that I could change the flight if needed. Well, I tried to change my flight 1 week before the return ticket, and it is not possible because you can only change your flight BEFORE THE OUTBOUND FLIGHT. HOW STUPID IS THAT. Such a scam of a company, only company on earth with this nonsense policy. NEVER AGAIN. Before purchasing a flight or hotel with them, read all the bad reviews on this site, they will help you make the right decision.
I booked a flight on July 22, 2020, which was scheduled to depart on August 1, but was canceled by Aeroflot due to a Covid-19 problem. Although the flight was canceled by Aeroflot, they still did not pay me (today is 04/12/2020). I have called Volagratis for millions of times, but no one is there to answer the people in charge. They use the coronavirus as an excuse to be inaccessible over the phone!!! I also contacted Aeroflot but they accuse volagratis of giving them the wrong bank account! They say my refund was made on 11/14/2020, but the account number is wrong! Customer service at AEROFLOT VENEZIA also puts me in DEADLOCK by sending a link to the Volagratis website and saying that I should contact the website (maybe it makes more sense to contact the wall or chair) !!! Also, after 6 months of me waiting for refund, they accuse me of impatience :) !!!! So in fact my only solution is hope that they will repay me!!! Therefore, based on my personal experience, I do not recommend using VOLAGRATIS and AEROFLOT at all! While I had the same problem with QATAR AIRWAYS (I bought my ticket directly from QatarAirways.com), but they paid me in 72 hours!
TOTALLY SCAMMERS i have brought 2 tickets from this agency burt i got postive in covid 19 so thats why i have cancelled my booking i have already sent medical reports to there customercare. airline said i am entiled for refund because i have medical issue.but these agency is holding my money. i will wait for 2/3 days otherwise i am going to police.
This agency is thief. My flight was cancelled due to COVID-19 and they couldn’t manage new flight for me. After withholding my money for 4 months now they are asking 30€ handling fee for starting the refund procedure. After 4 months I am paying 30€ for getting my money back which the refund procedure may take 3 months. If you don’t want to loose your money, don’t buy any flight ticket or make hotel reservation from this agency.
Robbed of ~€2000Due to covid our travel was restricted. Rumbo would not let us extend an ~€2000 (exactly €1825.23) credit so that we can travel when the pandemic is over. When asking support to talk to management or to escalate, they would refuse. They therefore made a ~€2000 income without providing any service.Stay away from these thieves.
Never again! I booked with Vola gratis, and I have not been refunded for cancellations due to coronavirus restrictions. I also subscribed the insurance full covering suggested by them, but I didn't have any refund neither by them, nor by their insurance Company.Their flight offers seem to be fully covered for the cancellations due to the covid-19 restrictions, but it's not true. It's really misconducting. They just proposed to pospone the same flight, completely the same, but I really don't need the same router now anymore and I have no idea when restrictions will be out. Nobody knows. Anyway I proposed a casual date for next year, and they answered that It was too late to modify my flight, even I have cancelled it dove days before leaving. It was not my choice, but covid-19 restrictions. Too bad
Avoid at all cost. Everything is OK as far as it is automatic. They do nothing and their software gets money selling tickets automatically. Whenever you have a problem, they don't answer the phone, or make it impossible for you to get in touch with an operator. Emails also don't work, I never got more than an automatic reply. I've been waiting for a reimburse for almost 6 months and none of my emails has been answered. They do however have deduced me 30 euros for each of the tickets that still have to be reimbursed, so they make sure to get payed at all cost. This company belongs to the lastminute.com group. Don’t ever use Volagratis! The flight was from Milan to Catania and was supposed to happen on June 28. The flight was cancelled without any communication from Volagratis and we found out accidentally, when we couldn’t do the check-in.Now starts the most interesting part - we never received our money back for the cancelled flight. Moreover, we didn’t even receive the communication email asking to choose the refunding option as a credit card or a voucher. Constant calls didn’t result in anything except for fake promises. The company’s policy says that the refund should be made within 60 days after cancellation. It’s been already way more, and still there’s no sign of improvement. The company is a SCAM!
In July 2020, I purchased a ticket from Milan to Tashkent via Moscow from Volagratis. The flight was supposed to be with Ural Airlines. But then the company cancelled the flight and I was given an option either to book another flight or to request a refund. I requested a refund, and Volagratis told that they had received my refund request and they had been handling it. But after some time, when I checked the status of my request, it appears that my refund request disappeared, and there was a notice (again): "This booking has been cancelled. To arrange an alternative flight, please call the airline directly. If you'd prefer to request a refund instead, you can do so by clicking the button below." Puzzled, I made another refund request. Volagratis again said they had received my refund request and they had been handling it. Again, after some weeks the same thing repeats: my refund request disappears. It is September now, but I still have not received my refund. This is the worst online travel agency I have ever seen. I am never going to use the fraudulent services by Volagratis, lastmiute or BravoFly again.
