everything went wrong.first the order was delayed, then despite the shipping method being Evri EU NL is choosen you ship the package from US to Denmark, then when i ask about that i'm told that i should just pay the customs invoice when it arrives then i'll be reimbursed,you then can only Reimburse half of it because of the amount was higher than on my order so now i've paid 60% more.i receive the tips, only to find that you shipped 2 wrong tips out of the 4 i ordered.i'm then told that the replacement tips will be shipped from EU, but no, you decide to ship from the US again, i'm then asking for a full refund for the order and the remaining from the customs invoice, then i'd pay the new customs invoice, which would mean i'd still pay more than the tips costs. i'm told to reject the delivery and that the fulfillment manager has been told that my package should only be processed from the EU. that was on Oct-09.nov-06 i asked " It's been almost a month nowAny news on when these will be back in stock in the EU, and the tips will be shipped?also the Package from the US should be on the way back"this is the respond"Hello Kjartan,Thank you for getting back to me on this. If the package is with customs, you can pay the fees and collect the package so I can reimburse you this payment, please let me know. Our new stocks would have since arrived at the EU warehouse, but we had an unexpected factory delay that disrupted the production process, the consignment is now being expected between November 17 - 20.Our sincere apologies for this delay. I chat in website.No person only bot.Still no reply followup again after 3 days.John reply.Tell me out of stock but will stock again in 2 weeks will sent immediately after.It is now more than 2 week still no update.Still not shipping.Order show unfulfill in website.
I have ordered several times. The products are always great.They suffer from logistics issues and growing pains. They always try to do things well, but sometimes it falls short (in the service, not the products). They are understanding and factual, plus they took feedback and promised it to be considered for improvement of future activities. They want to do well, they just haven’t grown to match their abilities to their ambition, yet.Just remember, it will be the little things that get in the way of a perfect service. Such as: Launching things in the week between different dates for the clock changes between the US and Europe, was a bad choice. It just made their lives more difficult as they failed to be self-consistent in their launch materials. Any other week and their not checking what the actual time differences round the world would be, would never have been noticed, but they chose that week and when their assumptions fell short, they got noticed. Delays in actual launch. If you bother to give a launch date/time down to the hour, don't then launch 2+hours late. Surely, if you can decide your launch will be at 11am, then you can program your system to start at 11am, not 1:15pm. If you could not be sure of launching to the minute, why give more precision that just a launch date (no time)?They have probably fixed this now, but back in the pandemic they had serious delays, yet they took payment then said nothing. It took me contacting them and suggesting I would cancel the payment with my card issuer to get them to say anything at all and give an explanation and actual ship date. Just telling me there was a delay and it would be shipped on x date would have made the whole thing much more pleasant, instead of leaving me in the dark with the possibility that they took the money and ran. They didn’t, and I got my items and it all worked out eventually, but much better communication would have removed the issue entirely.Like I said, it's the little things that will catch you. The products are great and you will get them and enjoy using them, just don't expect a zero-glitch experience before they arrive.
Products start out great but quickly degrade. I bought three cables and tips, figuring by spending more I'd get quality. I had an issue with one cable and tip, so I asked for a replacement. They sent the cable only and ghosted me on requests for the tip. I finally gave up as they just ignored my emails. A second tip malfunctioned and they spent a few weeks intermittently responding but finally set it up to send me a new tip. When I go to authorize the "purchase" so it gets sent (cost is zero) the system says it's out of stock and sends me back to the website. Repeated attempts to get help from Volta fall on deaf ears. Quality of parts is not what they claim and customer support is abysmal. I understand a one-off failure, but repeated failures in customer support is unacceptable. I'd recommend you avoid this company and it's sham "lifetime warranty." And By the way, I originally gave them a 4star rating when their products first came. I really wanted them to work. Update--The reply to the above email is incorrect. I have only received what I said. They asked for a video of the malfunction and I sent that. I have received 1 replacement as I indicated. Period. You have never asked for the parts returned and I am happy to do that. I have all email correspondence and attempts I have made to your customer service available for anyone to review. Your attempt to impune that I am trying to take advantage of you is offensive and your claim that you have replaced other than the one item is simply untruthful.
