Bought a brand new car. Sales people were very good. Unfortunately though I only had the car for 4 weeks because it had issues. Took it to be repaired. That was over five weeks ago. I'm paying for a new car I haven't even got. Strangest new purchase I've ever had. Wife is pregnant and we due in two weeks so the stress levels have been rising every day. I have to call for updates and the only update is "we don't know what's happening"..."we haven't heard anything" etc. they gave me a courtesy car and that broke down as well. So I've had a brand new Cupra and a brand new SEAT and both broke down. Doesn't inspire confidence. Considering a full refund rather than a replacement.
Purchased a seat Ibiza from seat cupra in Bromley. Exceptional service from Sam Morgan. We travelled a long way for the vehicle Sam went above and beyond to make sure the vehicle was ready in time with a fast turnaround. Very friendly service. Thank you
I booked a test drive online for a seat Ibiza in Bromley via the website. Firstly, they don’t send any confirmation of your appointment. Then when I got there, they said they don’t do test drives on the weekends, (but they let me book Saturday), so I went there for no reason. Then the week after I called up this time for a rebook. I called on the Monday to book for the Thursday, then I also called on the Wednesday to confirm my appointment. I then get there Thursday early morning, for them to tell me I haven’t been booked in, despite them telling me they see the calls been made on the Monday and Wednesday. Not a great service at all.
I left my vehicle with WJ King Vauxhall Bromley for a warranty repair on 1st April 2025.It is now 26 days later, and I have received no proper update, no estimated completion date, and no courtesy car.Every time I chased for information, I was passed between departments with no clear answers.Staff repeatedly promised callbacks that never happened.
Extremely poor experience at WJKing Sidcup. Booked car in for a service as it is supposed to be “reputable” and have “specialists”. Reality could not be further from that.Potentially dangerous advice given, lack of professionalism and accountability, and some of the work was done to such a poor standard that I seriously wonder if they did it at all. Given the above average cost of service, this is just ridiculous. Was quoted £1200 for a set of brake pads and to inspect (not to fix) an oil leak. CP Autos in Bexleyheath did the work WJKing quoted, plus some more, for less than a third of the cost. I also put in a complaint on the day of the service about the quality of work and overall experience and, despite being told I would hear back within a week, I have heard nothing in response for nearly 4weeks. Overall, poor experience and service from start to finish. Avoid like the plague.
I would like to share my recent experience with WJ King CUPRA Bromley in the hope that improvements can be made to their customer service and communication processes. On the 26th of February, I contacted the dealership to enquire about a CUPRA Formentor and spoke with Usman Ismail. I received a quote that I was happy with, and the following day I called back and paid a deposit to reserve the car and take it off the market.Initially, I intended to purchase the vehicle through PCP, but after finding the APR offered by WJ King CUPRA Bromley to be very high, I decided to proceed as a cash buyer using Charles & Dean finance company. Up until this point, Usman Ismail had been very helpful and responsive. However, once I mentioned that I wanted to use my own finance company, issues began to arise.I was informed that they were unable to create an invoice addressed to Charles & Dean with myself as the vehicle's owner. Over the next two days, I experienced a frustrating back-and-forth — initially being told they could accommodate this request, then being informed they could not. On the second day, Usman Ismail was off work, and I was advised that Matthew Rogers, the Business Manager, would contact me to confirm whether the transaction could proceed. Unfortunately, I received no communication from Matthew, and my calls went unanswered.Charles & Dean informed me they had never encountered a dealership that was unable to issue such an invoice. They facilitate vehicle purchases daily from brands like Porsche and Ferrari without issues. Adding to the frustration, both WJ King CUPRA Bromley and Charles & Dean were using the same finance company, yet WJ King CUPRA Bromley was quoting a premium APR — seemingly in the hope that I would revert to their financing. The lack of communication and explanation during this process was extremely disappointing. Two days after my finance company informed me that the deal had fallen through, I called Usman to enquire about my deposit refund. This started another ordeal — I made approximately 20 to 30 phone calls to the dealership, and neither Usman nor Matthew was ever available. I also sent several emails, none of which received a response. Ultimately, after expressing my frustration to the receptionist, I finally received my refund on the 12th of March.I am extremely dissatisfied with how this situation was handled. The poor communication, lack of accountability, and prolonged process created a stressful and frustrating experience. I sincerely hope that WJ King CUPRA Bromley reviews their customer service protocols to ensure this does not happen to other potential buyers.I would appreciate confirmation that my feedback has been received and what steps will be taken to improve the dealership's processes moving forward.
My experience at WJK Bromley was nothing short of a 5-star service, and Sam Morgan was a shining example of their exceptional team. From the moment I stepped onto the lot, the entire team exuded a welcoming and professional atmosphere. Sam, in particular, stood out with her remarkable knowledge and genuine care. As a Motability customer, I was especially grateful for her expertise in navigating the scheme, simplifying the process and ensuring I found the perfect vehicle. Her video walkthroughs of the cars were incredibly helpful, demonstrating her innovative approach and dedication to customer convenience. It wasn't just Sam, though; the entire team at WJK Bromley contributed to a seamless and enjoyable car-buying experience. Everyone was attentive, helpful, and went above and beyond to ensure my satisfaction. From the clear explanations of financing options to the thorough demonstrations of the car's features, every aspect of the service was top-notch. The combination of Sam's personalized attention and the team's overall commitment to excellence truly sets WJK Bromley apart. I left feeling confident and delighted with my purchase, a testament to the truly 5-star service they provide.
Booked my Peugeot 3008 in as it needed a ‘diagnostic’. Had to wait for 2 months to get it booked. In the meantimes, there was an alarming message on dashboard that there was an electrical issue that needed intervention. The diagnostic was £180 just to find out what was wrong. I argue that identifying an issue should not be charged as we should pay for fixing not identifying. Staff merely answer: ‘do you want it booked or not’. Two months later, I brought the car in. Someone called me back to tell me it would be £771. Having anxiously waited for 2 months, I could not wait any longer to get it fixed and risk the car breaking down. When I picked the car up, the invoice did not have the breakdown between part vs labor which I queried. The answer was ‘you agreed to the charge’. No customer service whatsoever. Defensive staff… This was a complete rip-off. Will certainly not used them again!
We have recently purchased a used vauxhall mokka turbo elite from W J King Bromley. We were driving past the dealership and we stopped just to have a look at the cars on the forecourt. We saw a car we liked and popped in to get more information. We were met by a very friendly staff member called Preet Sahota, she welcomed us and asked if we would like to have tea or coffee before we even asked about the car. We told her we liked the car and she showed us the car which we liked very much. She got us a price for our current car and there and then we purchased the car. I only went in to enquire but she was so helpful I trusted her and what she said. There were a few scratches on the rear of the car and she arranged to have them resprayed. We collected the car a few days later and again she was very helpful and friendly. If your going to the Bromley branch I recommend you ask for Preet for good service.
