WJ King SEAT Sidcup Branch Unprofessional / Dissapointed

I am writing to express my profound disappointment and frustration with the service I received during my recent safety recall appointment for my Seat Ateca vehicle, registered under the number FN67BXZ, at your branch. The entire experience was marred by misinformation, inconsistencies, and last-minute changes, which resulted in significant inconvenience and disruption to my schedule.Upon receiving the safety recall notice, I promptly booked an appointment with your service center. During the booking process, I specifically inquired about the duration of the appointment and the availability of courtesy cars. I was assured by the staff member over the phone that the procedure would only take a couple of hours, thereby indicating that I wouldn't require a courtesy car. However, upon arriving at the appointment, I was provided with conflicting information regarding the duration of the procedure. Initially, I was informed by one gentleman that the procedure would take 1 to 2 hours, which aligned with what I had been told earlier. However, to my dismay, another staff member contradicted this statement by stating that the procedure was an all-day job.This inconsistency in communication is deeply concerning and reflects a lack of professionalism and coordination within your service center. Moreover, I was informed belatedly that all courtesy cars had been booked out, leaving me stranded without any alternative transportation. This oversight deprived me of the opportunity to make alternative arrangements, resulting in missed work commitments and inconveniencing my clients.To add to the frustration, I had to endure a journey of over 2 hours and 30 minutes to Bishop's Stortford due to the lack of available options. This prolonged journey only exacerbated the inconvenience caused by the initial misinformation and lack of appropriate arrangements on your end.Furthermore, despite being told that the procedure would take all day, I received a call just after 3 hours to inform me that the car was ready for collection. This sudden change in information contradicted what I had been told earlier and further underscored the lack of clarity and consistency in communication from your staff.This entire experience has been utterly unacceptable and reflects poorly on the level of service provided by SEAT WJ King Sidcup Branch. Not only was I misled about the duration of the appointment and the availability of courtesy cars, but I was also subjected to unnecessary delays and last-minute changes, causing significant disruption to my day and impacting my work commitments and personal schedule.I urge you to thoroughly investigate this matter and take immediate steps to address the systemic issues within your branch to prevent such incidents from recurring in the future. Additionally, I request compensation for the time, inconvenience, and expenses incurred as a result of this ordeal.I expect a prompt and satisfactory resolution to this matter, along with assurances that appropriate measures will be implemented to improve the quality of service provided to customers in the future.

Ordered a Suzuki on the 26th March

Ordered a Suzuki on the 26th March, paid a deposit did not hear anything for nearly 2 weeks until I phoned up .Sales manager said he would take over my order for the Suzuki Vitara , then told only 3 in the country but would sort it out one way or another I would get a car thats what was promised, that was over 2 weeks ago. We emailed him at welling 2 days ago nothing tried phoning nothing.

Be careful with this company. I had a £500 'service' without any details to what was done.

I bought my car from WJ King and recently had it serviced by them. When I made the service booking I was told that it would be a major service and the cost would be just below £500. The receipt just stated 'Negotiated Price Adjustment' for £494.- I have asked for details of what this service included as to parts exchanged and work carried out but the only response was that I would hear from them 'shortly'. That is more than a month ago. I really feel it is underhand just to say 'it's a major service' without providing any further details and I will certainly not wish to do any business with this company again.

I recently booked my car in for a service at the Sidcup branch and when i collected the vehicle, i noticed scratches that were not there when i dropped it off. i contacted the customer service team who gave me an email address to contact. The service manager responded promising to come back to me in a weeks time, this was almost two months ago! i have sent chase emails and even escalated my complaint to the customer service line but still no response. I'm extremely disappointed as I've had my car services from the Sidcup branch several times. this will be the last time regrettably.

Avoid this place at all cost’s !!!!!I took my pride and joy a Seat Cupra Leon R ST to get a service and come away feeling very upset with many aspects of my visit ! I am not going to go into details because it’s a long list of problems! The service manager has sent me a long email giving he’s own opinions and in Some cases calling me a liar. I am not going to pursue this with the Bromley branch anymore as they don’t care what we say and especially in the reviews we leave.

Some time back my seat ateca was recovered to wj king in Bromley (seat) after breaking down I am now nearly 8 months down the line and my vehicle is still with them going round and round in circles with all different problems very long time to have a vehicle under repair very poor service

My daughter booked her seat into WJ King Sidcup well in advance She was given a courtesy car as she thought it was for the duration of warranty workNext day she was ask to return the courtesy car this was very upsetting as she recently gave birth so the car is a lifeline Also they are happy release her car with no horn or airbag to drive home back to Essex then return when part is in which is illegal Also if she did not return the car she was threatened with the police actionNow she has no car until her car is repairedWJ King has not acknowledged our complaint I hope everyone should boycott WJ King as they have not looked a welfare issues with my daughter and new babyMy Daughter has an update on her carthe part is not due in till 26/02Hi Steve,So where does this leave me? Given that the 26th is 2 weeks away as well as the time it will take to fit and rectify the fault, I anticipate I’ll be left without a car for longer than this time period if I’m not provided with a replacement whilst you have my car. I must stress that although you believe that the car is roadworthy, I can assure you this is not the case due to the gravity of the problems. In this case please do not suggest collecting and returning my vehicle in the interim period of the parts being delivered because this is simply not feasible. Although you may have provided an update, this still does not fix the situation as myself and my newborn are still without a mode of transport. I’m currently in conversation with several WJ King representatives as well as SEAT UK who are investigating how this has been handled, I’m hoping we can come to some kind of solution that can work for us both.

Brilliant service from WJ King, especially Georgia.

I bought a 20 plate ex-Disability Combo Life XL from a car dealer in Essex as I needed a vehicle to transport my elderly parents and my young children around. Within two weeks of having it I had an “engine oil pressure fault” error message which led to an “engine fault; repair needed” message. Having rang around local garages, who didn’t want to work on a car covered by a warranty firm (WSG) especially one that may have a wet belt issue, I contacted WJ King in Bromley as they are my nearest Vauxhall dealer. I spoke to a member of staff called Georgia who was really helpful and understanding (I was in a bit of a state as the other garages had basically told me my car was a write off and I should get my money back from the original dealer). She offered to let me drop the car off and the WJ King mechanics would fit in the diagnostic tests if they had time so I could sort out my claim for WSG. She warned me there may be a long wait as they were fully booked. Luckily the diagnostics was done within a day and my car was repaired and back with me within 48 hours (it wasn’t a wet belt issue), which was amazing. Georgia dealt with the warranty firm (who refused to pay for any work claiming the parts required were excluded from their Platinum cover (surprise, surprise)) and the original dealers who kindly picked up the bill for the work required plus the transportation to WJ King. I can’t praise her and the team of mechanics highly enough. I never use main dealers when my cars need repairs as they are usually more expensive but the service I received from WJ King means I will be using them for any additional work and services my car needs.
