Great experience

Everything was fine on the sale of the car. [Vauxhall Astra, Swanley Branch]. Spencer bent over backwards to make sure the car was perfect on collection.But after checking the car on reaching home I found there was no full service history as advertised. Took several days of no reply phone calls and emails to finally speak with Spencer who said there was a service book and was going to locate it. Thank you Spencer for locating Service HistoryWe got there in the end.Great car and great service!James

To whom it may concern, I would like you to pass onto Paul Luxford and his superiors the excellent service we have received from WJ Kings branch in Farningham. We was recommended to this garage, by a family friend, because word of mouth is good measure of great customer service. This's in my view speaks volumes about the level of service they have received from this branch of WJ Kings in the past and how their loyalty is rewarded. Which we took the recommendation and advice, definitely thought we should get the car booked in with them to change the Wet timing belt. The Vauxhall Corsa EK21OGT, belongs to my daughter and she told me she is extremely happy with the whole experience and wanted me to pass on her thanks and gratitude . Too many times bad service gets mentioned, and it’s very rare we says about when things go well . As a new customer with some knowledge of different cars, with various mechanical set ups. I thought Paul was very helpful and his excellent product knowledge of Vauxhall cars was reassuring and his attention to detail made the whole situation easy to deal with. paul and his team are credit to the company and it should be noted and rewarded for this. We will definitely be back in future as any issues arise. Thanks again Jason Judd

Refundable deposit still not returned over a month later

Placed an order for used car on 17th Nov 2024. A few days later the finance was declined. Frustrating as id been very clear to Tony on the business being 1 year old and it was making over 5 figures a month in profit. Anyway. Not a problem I've found another solution and ended up with a better car, with a better arrangment. I guess things happen for a reason.. I was told the deposit I paid would paid beck immediate once Tony could get the sales manager involved. I've chased this several times over the last few weeks (its now over a month since i placed the order) I've spoke to the sale manager himself who said he would speak with Tony. I've spoken to other team members from the dealership and I've been promised phones calls back from Tony.Clearly it's not the amount but the principle of you keeping my money that is the problem.

Worst Experience at Bromley SEAT Cupra - Avoid at All CostsI had the worst experience at Bromley Cupra with WJ King. I initially dealt with Usman, who was pleasant at first but quickly became pushy, pressuring me into a deal for a car I wasn’t sure about. Feeling overwhelmed, I decided to go home and think about it. After sleeping on it, I decided to cancel the deal.The moment I mentioned cancelling, to order a alternative vehicle within my rights Usman and the rest of the team became unresponsive. Despite calling multiple times on Monday, no one got back to me. On Tuesday, I finally received an email from the manager, Matthew, who stated that to process my refund, I needed to email over my bank details. I raised my concerns about the security of this method and requested a call back to discuss alternatives—but no one called. It has been days, and they are now outright avoiding me while withholding my refund.Additionally, during the process, Usman handled my driving license incredibly poorly. After using it to print a copy for a test drive, he left my personal information openly on a desk in full view of other customers and sales staff. This blatant disregard for GDPR regulations is unacceptable.I still have not received my refund.The after-sales service at WJ King Bromley Cupra is outrageous and completely unprofessional. If you value your time, money, and personal information, I strongly urge you to avoid this dealership at all costs.

Be open to second opinions

Had booked in my car for a service and MOT last week at WJKing Sidcup( as had a service plan).Dropped my car off at 9 a.m , and waited all day. Finally at 16.30 hrs was called and told that the car had failed the MOT and the MOT was still not completeNext morning at 8.30 was called and the quote given for rectifying the failures was £917.00. Decided to have a second opinion , so booked the car in at an independent garage and guess what the car was visited by 3 different technicians and all 3 said that two of the 3 failures should only have been advisoriesQuote for cost of repairs by WJKing £917 (probably thought Christmas bonus could come out from my pocket)Cost repairs by Independent garage £90Very disappointed as would have expected much better professionalism from a reputed firmwhen you think that the cost of repairs is too high, try and get a second opinion, you could save a bucketful

Absolutely perfect my wife had a mobility car with lee .I have purchased a beautiful car with guy at Dartford wjking.a first class service and communication with guy was first class . have been a citron car brand new for 10 years .never goes anywhere else.highly recommend

Purchased car from wj king Woolwich and it’s got mileage discrepancy

I purchased my Fiat 500x 2019 automatic from wj king Woolwich on 05/02/23 and I’m now trying to sell my car but can’t due to the car coming back with mileage discrepancy and being offered £3000-£4000 less because of this, I’ve been in contact with the WJ king Woolwich branch but are saying they believe they haven’t broken there contract even though this is a breach of consumer rights act due to selling me a car not as described (mileage discrepancy) looks like the mileage of the car was clocked. All they have offered to rectify this massive problem is by offering me below we buy any car valuation and keeping in mind I paid full retail price for the car and we buy any car pay very low prices and then sell the car and make a big profit. WJ king should be trying to rectify this problem as they should of done checks on the car before selling it to me, I purchased from a garage thinking it was the safest way but that was not the case. Excellent salesman Steve Luton at Seat Sidcup

my daughter has been looking for her 1st car, and found the Seat Leon on their website. We made a booking with Steve Luton over the phone for a Tuesday. We were running late, he called us to see if we might be lost.The warm and friendly greeting we got put my daughter at ease, as I let her do all the talking. All the info one would want was provided, easily explained over a cup of good coffee.Steve showed the car, put my daughter in the driving seat and explained a lot of the vehicles controls.As we had another vehicle to look at that day, we would let them know later on, to which we did and purchased the vehicle. On collection a few days later, all was ready to drive away, with car taxed, new MOT and a tank of gas as a thank you.We highly recommend this branch in Sidcup, as the guys are great, make you feel welcomed and really go the extra mile for their customers. Thanks from us.
